Jeff was awesome in communicating when needed. Cabin was super clean. Comfortable and quiet. We had my 4 year old and she had a blast. So many options for beach vacation. I would definitely go back for a week anytime. Beds where comfortable also thats always a plus! Thanks for letting my family enjoy.

Unfortunately the weather wasn’t accommodating to our plans. Place was very nice. WiFi excellent. Good kitchen capabilities. TV entertainment not so good and complex to navigate. Normal issues with well water use.

Not to far from anything in town and access to the beach real nice place recommended it already to another family thanks again

Up for weekend of ice fishing. This house was perfect for me and would be great for a small group. Lake access is very close and easy. I had a great weekend and will stay here again!

This was a beautiful cabin located on one of the prettiest streets in Houghton Lake! The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed! Jeff was a great host and had exceptional communication ensuring we had a wonderful stay! Just a very short walk down to the water where we were able to watch a gorgeous sunset. Great place! Nice and quiet with views of Houghton Lake. Property was clean and the owner made sure all was well. Simple check-in and check-out process.

Brought family for Father's day place was clean and peaceful place we loved the view of the lake nice size kids enjoy there self Jeff was Great and helpful kitchen was stocked to cook which was very helpful P. S Don't forget your bug spray would recommend a portable bug zapper for porch . Would come back 🙂

This cabin was a great spot to stay inwill definitely rent here again. right across from the lake with lake views easy access to the lake. very comfortable beds and the cabin was probably the cleanest place I have rented through vrbo. our host Jeff check in on us to make sure everything was perfect. we really enjoyed the stay

Great place to stay. Close to lake and Walmart. The VRBO map location does not match the Google location. Google maps puts it closer to the lake.

Easy check-in, everything you need to relax and enjoy. Quick access to beach, food and shops.

House was comfortable and basics were provided (kitchen staples, shampoo, conditioner, lotion) which I felt was very thoughtful. Jeff was available to answer questions we had. Had a very relaxing week.

Very nice with all the amenities. The property was clean with no shortage of cookware, bath supplies, a spacious refrigerator and freezer, stove and microwave. The property sits right across the street from Houghton lake with a nice lake view out the dining room window. I used the Internet with no problems, the main reason I went there. Overall, the neighborhood was quiet and peaceful. There was no hint of cigarette smoke or mildew. There was even a Keurig Coffee maker stocked with coffee pods and a wireless phone charger. Wow, a barbecue and kayaks, what else could you want. Jeff was responsive to my messages which made it pleasant. I would highly suggest staying there to my friends and family. It's worth every penny and more.

We visited during February, and while we’re not snow mobilers or into ice fishing, we still had a lovely stay. Hartwick Pines is just a short drive away and was beautiful and so quiet all covered in snow, and my 3 year-old got a kick out of standing on a very frozen Houghton Lake. The house was comfortable, and the owners checked in on us frequently to make sure we had everything we needed. The home is obviously well-loved and cared for, the evidence of pride of ownership present despite everything being buried in snow. We’d love to visit again during the summer months.

This lil cottage exceeded our expectations. It was very clean and had everything that a couple of fisherman needed. The owner contacted me a couple times to see if there was anything we needed and to see how we were doing. I'd give more than 5 stars if it was possible. If we ever back this way we'll definitely stay here again!

Wife had training in the area so we made a trip of it for the weekend. Have a 3 year old so was nervous seeing as it was cold, our host had great internet, netflix, hulu and disney+ was a life saver! Place was sweet and welcoming and very clean, will definitely use again.
