Apartment 1a was spacious, comfortable, tastefully decorated, and well finished. The beds were comfortable, as was the pull out bed, a very good quality bed also. The apartment block was secured by a gate, which was opened by a key or button. The location of the apartment was very close to the town. The landscaped area around, and in the complex was nicely done. The electronic shitters added security, and also helped you sleep at night as the apartment was very dark when shutters were closed.

Apartment 1a is located beside Pingo Doce. This is a noisy location, with traffic coming and going the whole time, also people loudly conversing, and congregating under the apartment. If you like reading a book in peace and comfort, on the balcony, this is not the apartment for you. However, when I voiced my concerns (based on other reviews) on the location of apartment 1a, I was told it was on a side entrance. Yes, the entrance is to the side, but the apartment is beside Pingo Doce, to the front. I was very disappointed to discover this. It was my first time to use this complex. My holiday wasn’t as peaceful as I had hoped it would be. I would not use this apartment again for the above reasons. The pool area had no good sturdy umbrellas. The sun was very hot at times, and there was no shade. There were loose tiles in this area too. You need to provide proper protection for holiday makers. Beach umbrellas found in the apartment are not adequate enough for this area, as there are not enough umbrella stands. Sun beds, although marked for each apartment, are used by other people.

The Apartment was excellent with everything that you could need. Very comfortable stay.

Getting decent sunbeds was an issue. Some apartments had there own dedicated sunbeds but we had to use communal ones which were not in the best of shape and there didn't seem to be enough for everyone.

Great Location. Immaculate & Very clean and cosy apartment with beautiful Sunshine in front and in the balcony. Extremely close to Pingo Doce Supermarket. Beautiful surroundings. This 1 bedroom apartment has everything you need to both work and relax. Highspeed wifi, fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher & washing machine. Premium quality utensils & cuttleries. Fitted bedroom with very comfotable beddings. Cosy balcony with comfortable chairs to relax and soak the sun all day :). Pingo Doce is only a minute walk. Several restautants at walking distance. Fishing village less than a mile away and the breathtaking beaches are approx 2 miles away. Highly recommended.
