The neighborhood is our favorite in Cambria, just blocks from Fiscalini Preserve and the ocean. The house has a lovely primary bedroom upstairs where there is also the living room, dining and the kitchen. Downstairs are two simple bedrooms and the garage with a bunk bed. The house is well maintained and has an informal feel. The best part for us is that it is dog friendly with a large fenced yard. We enjoyed our dog walks into the preserve or simply sitting by the ocean. We would stay again.

We had a lovely stay at this welcoming and comfortable home. The sunrises and sunsets were amazing and the location was perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

First, after booking, I was asked to mail a check to pay the balance due rather than paying through VRBO which was odd, plus I don’t have checks and then I had to pick up the key and drop it off! So crazy in this technological-driven era and there was a keyless entry deadbolt on the front door! The property manager did give us a nice bottle of wine when I picked up the key. They also gave us a Netflix login that failed to work. Why not just leave the device connected to their tv logged in for guests? As far as amenities, don’t expect much like coffee or shower gel etc as that won’t be there and the grocery store options are very minimal so maybe plan to shop before arriving. The neighborhood is quiet and the ocean lookout point is a very close walk. However, the drive to downtown was more than we anticipated. Overall, it was an okay experience but I wouldn’t stay here again or recommend it to friends and family.

This house was in a great location, near Fiscalini Ranch and in a very peaceful neighborhood. We enjoyed the layout of the house and everything was comfy and in good shape. There was a nice little fenced side yard for my dog (one of the main reasons I chose this property). The reclining sofa in the living room is great but I'd really suggest replacing one of the little red chairs with a more comfy chair or a recliner as it wasn't very conducive to more than 2 people gathering around the tv to watch a movie or something at the end of the day. One negative was that the owner is having an extended patio built on the adjoining lot (which will be great in the future) but we were not informed in advance that this construction would be taking place for the bulk of our stay. There is a lot of construction in Cambria, so some noise is understandable, but not knowing it would be done on the property you are staying on was not the best. As mentioned, the main reason for renting this property was the fenced side yard for my dog. I was informed by the property manager on Thursday after noon (Sat-Sat stay) that the fence would be taken down the following day and no accommodations or compensation for the inconvenience was offered on the phone. I went into the office and explained that I expected some reduction in my rental fee due to the inconvenience and the property not being as advertised for the entirety of my stay. They contacted the owner and they were willing to delay the fence removal until the day of my departure.

Simple and everything you need. The sunny back deck is great for early morning coffee.

Location was great, 2 blocks from the beach. Great views, clean and great layout. One master upstairs and two other rooms downstairs. House has everything you need. There is a couch that sits two comfortably and allows you to extend your legs. There are two cushioned swivel chairs that are fine for short term sitting but not comfortable for long term. In my opinion the house did not have adequate comfortable seating for six people. Regardless we would stay again. It was great.

We had anticipated a fenced in backyard according to the listing. Instead we found a foot wide ally. Both bathrooms had empty soap dispensers which being COVID we found quite alarming.

Its location near the ocean and the Fiscallini Preserve were ideal for us. The home was completely clean and felt like it when we came. We had 2 dogs and it was the best spot for dogs we have ever stayed in. The flooring was resistant to the dogs feet. The furniture was comfortable but not inviting to the dogs in terms of chewing, scratching etc. There was minimal clutter that the dogs could bump into. Best of all there was an exit easy to access that led to a fenced in outside area where they could do their business (and we could clean it up easily. The house has everything you need in terms of cooking, TV, washer/dryer and other amenities. The section of Cambria it is in is more remote from the highway and downtown so it is quieter. The coast walk on the Fiscallini Preserve is about the prettiest mile of coast we have ever seen. There were huge bushes of lupin blooming (we were there in mid May). We would recommend this house to anyone though we think it is an incredible place for pets. We thank the owners for their consideration when it comes to pets. They must be dog lovers.

Just a very, very nice home. Very comfortable and tastefully decorated with just enough accent pieces to make it feel like home. Well equipped with everything needed from kitchen to family entertainment. Easy access to ocean front and great walking trail options. Quiet neighborhood with very minimal traffic yet short easy drive into town for shopping and eateries. I would highly recommend to others and would plan for future visits without hesitation.

We had a relaxing vacation in Marine Terrace. Everything was so clean and spotless. Large comfortable beds, soft towels, nice dishes and kitchenware. So quiet , and nice patios to view the stars. Great location for walking and enjoying nature. We will return.

This is a great place to stay. It’s nestled in a quiet neighborhood that invites you to get outside and go for a relaxing walk. It can be a short walk to the park/small beach down the street or a 2 mile walk through the FISCALINI RANCH PRESERVE that’s also near by. When you return from your walk, you can enjoy a hot cup of coffee or a relaxing glass of wine out on one of the patios. It is truly a wonderful place.

Great house in a perfect location. Only down side was we could not get the BBQ to work and the kitchen was not as stocked with spices as many other homes we have stayed in. But it otherwise had everything we needed for a family get-away in one of our favorite locations.

Rented this property for a family get together. Place was very clean and well kept. Kitchen was well equipped for cooking meals at home. We enjoyed the proximity to the Fiscalini trails as well as nice neighborhood to walk our dogs.
