Peter was very nice to us, the room was quite stylish, the beds comfortable, and (we even had a fan ) a good breakfast. 15 min walk to the center and 20 to the train station.

Das Moos Cottage ist ein älteres B&B. Es liegt etwa 1,3 km netten Fußwegs, u.a. entlnag des Avon, vom Zentrum entfernt. Busse fahren nur jede Stunde von dort und zurück.
Die beiden Betreiber (Seit ca. einem Jahr) sind etwas älter, gleichgeschlechtlich und sehr nett im Umgang. Sie sprechen ein sehr gutes Englisch. Das B&B hat nur 3 Zimmer, aber auch Parkgelegenheiten für 2 PKW. Die Zimmer sind sehr groß. Probleme, z.B. mit der Dusche oder dem Internet, werden möglichst schnell behoben. Das Frühstück muss man sich auf einer Karte am Abend zuvor bestellen - es ist schmackhaft.
Insgesamt hatten wir den Eindruck, dass man dort sehr gut und gemütlich seine Tage in Stratford upon Avon verbringen kann.
Ein B&B ist nun einmal kein Hotel!!!! Entsprechend niedigriger ist auch für englische Verhältnisse der Preis! Unter diesem Aspekt gab es eigentlich nichts, was es an diesem B&B zu kritisieren gab. Wir würden gerne noch einmalm dort übernachten

Bill was a wonderful host in so many ways. From the nice greeting and welcome to the ride to the train station in the morning, with a quick tour of Stratford Upon Avon. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was delicious along with a very nice conversation with Bill; who is a wealth of knowledge about the area and Uncle Willie (Shakespeare).I had an amazing time at Moss Cottage.

Everything was great, comfy bed, friendly host and great breakfast. Location was good as well, a gentle stroll into Stratfofd centre and close to the racecourse!

The location of Moss Cottage was very convenient for walking into Stratford and exploring the sights. The breakfast was delicious and it was nice to have a choice of both the starter and main course. Bill was very welcoming and even offered us a drink when we arrived. We also bought some of the homemade jams and chutneys he had served with our breakfast to bring home with us.

I have stayed here previously. Again for5 nights whilst attending event at nearby race course . Clean and tidy, great breakfast and excellent host.

Lovely welcome. Very friendly host who made us feel like valued guests in the cottage. Hot drink and homemade fruit loaf on arrival. Super helpful regarding directions and sites to visit. Superb breakfast. Award winning jams and marmalades.

Bill was the perfect host. He welcomed us with a pot of tea and gave us a map with recommended highlights. The room was very clean and well-equipped and the en-suite facilities were great. Breakfast was fantastic. The location was ideal - just a 15 minute walk into the town.

Fantastic breakfast with top quality ingredients. Absolutely huge portions too and the first time a B and B has had green tea and decaffeinated green tea. Lovely twin room, very quiet and cool on a very hot day. Arrived to be greeted with a drink and homemade fruit cake. Extremely kind host who made our stay. Good parking and a short walk to the RSC.
