Alles was perfect. Enige minpuntje wat ik kan vinden zijn de niet verduisterende gordijnen aan de straatkant, waardoor er veel licht naar binnen scheen door lantaarnpaal.

Es ist super gemütlich eingerichtet. Alles nötige war vorhanden. Haben uns sofort "wie zu Hause" gefühlt. Die Lage ist top! Der Vermieter war super freundlich, alles war unkompliziert und schnell abgewickelt. Es hat uns einfach richtig gut gefallen.

Great location, two minute walk into town centre. Clean, comfortable apartments. Great hosts who were very friendly and easy to talk to. Shower was excellent.

The very friendly host waited for us after providing our estimated arrival time, and gave us a short history of this very old and historic house. The house itself, like most others in Detmold, is indeed very interesting and beautiful, both from the outside and inside. The studio apartment on the top floor was equipped with a modern kitchen, but we didn't needed it due to all the close-by options. The small dining/living room is also big enough for 2 people. You can park for free above the Palaisgarten, just a 15min walk uphill.

The bathroom was a bit small, both in height as it's overall dimensions, but it is after all an antique house so that can be expected and is perfectly fine. The bed however is a different story: it creaked with literally every move and didn't provide a good rest during the nights. The lamp above it also makes a lot of noise when it's off. My girlfriend didn't hear it at all, but I couldn't keep it neither off nor on (obviously having the light on during the night isn't a solution). I would suggest to have that checked or replaced.

Everything was really good! The house was equipped with all needed, cozy, and the host was very kind. We felt the warmth. If I have a chance, hope to stay again.

The owners were very friendly! They took time to explain everything. They even prepared water, beer and chocolate. The property was also very clean. Finally the location is great! It is in the center and shopping street. I recommend this place when staying in Detmold!
