We cannot say enough how fabulous your place was. Everything was easy and it was so well thought out and clean. Your constant communication and the link to all to do were so helpful. I can say that we’ve never we stayed in a more thoughtfully prepared place. It felt like we had more I do at our fingertips than a concierge would give at a hotel. Just awesome.

Perfectly situated in Mont Royal. Easy access to subway and local shops. The apartment was perfect for 8 people. Hosts are very organized and professional. Would return and recommend to others.

Great restaurants with wide variety of cuisines nearby, fun mix of shops (Ceramic Cafe was a hit with our kids for sure), and good access to metro. Beds were comfortable, nicely decorated and all amenities we needed. We will book this home again on our next visit.

The apartment was fantastic right in the heart of the city. Spacious accommodations, we’ll equipped with many extras! The showers were amazing. My family really enjoyed our short stay and would love to visit again. Our hosts were very gracious to open their home to us! Thank you. I would highly recommend!

We were three generations looking to spend time together and explore Montreal. This rental with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms was ideally located in the city to do just that. The management was friendly, responsive and informative.

We very much enjoyed our stay in this spacious, comfortable, lovely apartment on a wonderful street in a great city. Our hosts were extremely attentive to all details, but not intrusively so. On the first night of our stay we had some issues with late night/early morning partying going on in the apartment below us, but Frédérique took care of it swiftly and it was blessedly quiet for the rest of the weekend. Thanks so much for a great weekend and we hope to stay here again.

Our family of seven adults had a nice stay in this 2nd floor apartment. The space is well laid out, with excellent kitchen appliances and supplies, updated bathrooms, plenty of beds (though some complained beds were hard), easy check-in/check-out, great communication with owner. This apartment does show some wear relative to the photos, but minor. As is common in older buildings, you will hear footfalls of people in the apt above. There is some street noise in the front bedroom, but our city dwelling family members didn't notice. The three other bedrooms were very quiet. Parking is literally next door and although you must pay to park, it was not an excessive fee for a major city like Montreal. Location is within easy access to metro and bus lines. There are lots of shops, restaurants and bars in the immediate neighborhood. We tried to go skating at nearby La Fontaine Park but the ice had warmed up, and we eventually find some skating on Mont Royal. As it was winter, we did not use the terrace but imagine it would be a nice feature in warmer weather. Overall, would happily recommend this property!

Spacious, clean, tastefully decorated apartment in the heart of the Plateau. We've stayed there two years in a row and couldn't have had a better stay. Our hosts were excellent, available to help us with all of our needs.

A family of three generations visited a McGill senior. With various people coming and going, this space is welcoming and embracing with deep comfort and sparkling cleanliness. The neighborhood is varied and fun; we walked all over from this center. We ate out or ate in with easy deight. It was easy to live together in a space that supported a group; it was seamlessly easy to enjoy. Thank you!

Overall we had a wonderful stay and the layout was perfect for our extended family. Property was very well located however we were a little disappointed that from the time we viewed the property to the time we actually stayed there (6 months) it was a little worse for wear. We were under the impression it would be painted and given a total refresh just before our stay. For its price point some things were lacking - sheets could use an upgrade, dollar store products were a surprise, and upholstered furniture and area rug needed a good cleaning. The front steps are rather hazardous for those with mobility issues - not great curb appeal either. On the positive side - the hosts were fabulous and did provide things in a timely manner when asked. If it wasn't on the high end of the rental rate it would be a 5 star - we were just expecting something exceptional.

We loved our stay - the combos of beds and en suites made our two family vacation super comfortable.

This was an amazing place to hold a family reunion. We rented both this apartment and the one above it. We had 10 adults and 4 children in the 2 spaces and it was perfect. Especially nice to have all the bathrooms. The kitchen was well equipped and we ate 5 dinners there. The balcony was great for breakfast and family dinners. The outside spiral staircase was helpful for connecting the 2 apartments. We did not have to go down the front stairs and deal with locked doors. The owners were wonderful to work with. We had a glitch with the code at check in and they handled it promptly and well. They even sent us a "treat" to make up for the delay. The location is great. We had a short walk to the metro, restaurants, groceries, bakeries and wine shops. We could also walk in many directions for attractions. I just can't say enough about the location, the size and condition of the apartment, the wonderful hosts.

Hosts responded to request for stay immediately and communicated throughout. Excellent location and amenities included and was a perfect fit for us as 3 business travelers each wanting their own bedroom/bathroom. Will definitely stay again for my next meetings in Montreal.

Guess guide was very informative, including parking procedures. Beds were comfortable to sleep in with good bedding. Neighborhood is easy access to subway, $19 for a 3 day pass, got us pretty much anywhere we needed to go. All other places very walkable. Neighborhood had several breakfast, lunch, dinner, ice cream and coffee options. Loved this place. Worked well for 2 families of 4.

Such a lovely apartment in a great neighborhood! It was perfect for our first visit to Montreal! We had 8 adults in our group. Centrally located and easy to get around. Excellent restaurants within walking distance.

Condo is in ideal location near metro, restaurants, bars. The place was very clean and we had everything we needed for our 4 night stay. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed in town for a scientific conference and could not have loved this place more. Everything is astonishingly clean, perfectly equipped, quiet and yet smack right in the middle of the Plateau life. On top of all of this, great communication with Frederique and Bernhard. Would definitely come back!

Lovely property . Everything is clean , the apartment is very comfortable plenty of room for everybody including 3 bathrooms . The managers were very available for all questions and extremely accommodating . Location was great close to everything in walking distance . The apartment was in a Main Street but we heard very minimal noise . Highly recommend this apartment

This rental was perfect for us. We were 6 adults and 2 children (toddlers). The apartment was spotless, and more than well supplied with anything we might want. There was everything we could possibly have needed to prepare and cook our meals (and we like to do both!). Even the needs of the children were well looked after: children's cutlery, plates, bowls, cups, a stroller, "play yard", even small stools. Ample cleaning supplies, great washer/dryer, vacuum and on and on. The apartment itself was spacious and light filled. The lounge area was large enough to accommodate us all so we enjoyed evenings of talking and playing games. The bedrooms are generously sized with ample storage space. The balcony was huge! It is situated in a great spot with any type of store you might need, restaurants and a great park within a short walk. Parking was easy, reasonable, and around the block. The owners always responded within an hour or so, occasionally within minutes. The instructions they provided were detailed and thorough. We have stayed in many, many VRBOs and this one ranks as one of the best.

First time visitors to Montreal, looking for the perfect place to stay for a week that could accommodate 2 families (4 adults, 4 kids). The apartment was fantastic - clean, comfortable, modern, and lots of beds and bathrooms. The location can't be beat. You're in the heart of Plateau, short walk to metro, safe secure neighborhood with lots of great cafes, restaurants and bars all around. Frederique and Bernhard were very responsive and went out of their way to make sure our stay was perfect. We'd definitely come back!

The apartment was great! We stayed with 3 kids and 2 adults for 5 days over Thanksgiving weekend. Had some friends over with their 3 kids for dinner a couple of nights with lots of space. Lots of room with a nice wide open kitchen and living room. Also a great plus was that it was on a single level off the street into the apartment. Many of the other places we looked at were on the second and third floors. Great hosts in a great neighborhood! I would highly recommend!

We recently (six adults) spent five days at Bernhard and Frederique’s condo in the Plateau Mont region. It was an excellent experience in every way. We had never been to Montreal before, so we had a lot of correspondence back and forth with Frederique in the weeks leading up to our stay. It was very helpful. She provided us with an exhaustive list of recommendations as well as a list of basic and very reasonable rules. The check in is easy—the door is coded so keys are not necessary. We parked our car around the corner for $12/day and never moved it until we left. Montreal’s metro is much better than driving. The actual condo was excellent. Everything worked well; all you need is provided; and the location is about as good as you could possibly fine. The entire place is clean and convenient. There is a separate bath for each of the three bedrooms. There are also the most spectacular showers as well. The Metro was four minutes away and provided our main form of transport. There are very good restaurants and stores within easy walking distance. We have used Home Away for many trips and usually found very good accommodations. This one was one of the very very best. We would use it again without hesitation.
