we loved the house and all the fun things to do. the private pool was so fun to have. soft comfortable beds it was a great stay.

We really enjoyed our stay in this rental. This was our second year at the same place. We love the space for our big group and all of the amenities. There were a few issues like the internet not working and the hot tub at the community pool not working either. Other than those things we really loved our stay and will likely be back next year.

The place was very nice but we discovered that it was over priced compared to other properties with the same amenities during the same holiday period. Loved having the private pool since we had young children. Because it was over Thanksgiving and colder outside no one used the common pool; the water was very cold, but we did use the pickle ball courts. Went over to Arcadia with other family to use their pool and lazy river which was warmer and more fun. The unit was very spacious on both levels. Response from property management was undesirable. The internet didn’t work because it appears that the owner hadn’t paid the bill; we borrowed the neighbor’s internet to get by. No barbecue as advertised. Upon arrival the entry didn’t code didn’t work as the property management had changed the code without telling us.

We loved our stay in 32. Lots of beds, house is well stocked with cooking items, private and hot tub are a definite advantage since the community pool was very busy with lots of children. Some of the door knobs in the bathrooms did not function or the doors did not stay closed, but not a big problem. Dakota was amazing from the time we booked our stay, through our stay and quickly responded and solved any concerns. We would definitely stay here again.

House was clean and well stocked.

We found the place to be very clean and modern, and had everything we needed to make us feel at home. Additionally, the Red Sands Management provided us with instructions for a faster check-in and check-out process. In addition, they let us check in around 1pm when the house was ready since we had arrived early in order to avoid traffic from the EDC. Red Sands Vacation Rental Management is highly recommended for your next Utah getaway. In addition to their efficiency, they are very knowledgeable about what customers are expecting and they ensure that everyone is satisfied. I would like to thank you for having us. This place was more than perfect to fit our needs. The kids were entertained and happy and we had a great time!

Red Sands always takes such good care of their tenants, and have such amazing properties! The house was amazing for the 5 families that stayed there, and the pool was such a perfect size! The notes / instructions around the house for specific items was super helpful to both the adults and children staying there to ensure that we take care of the property the best we can. I have stayed at a lot of vrbo places so let me just say how this one stood out. So clean. Bluetooth printer. Full size bathroom in EVERY room. Pool towels provided. Kitchen very well stocked with pots and pans, serving bowls, serving trays. They had every kitchen appliance except an Instant Pot. We loved the option to have the little kids play in the small pool out back. The pool does have a cover to put in place when not being used.

Thank you for the great weekend! Fun house!! We enjoyed the pool, hot tub and the spacious rooms. Plenty of space for our big group. The neighborhood pickleball courts and pool were great too. We would definitely come back in the future. Thank you!!

I wanted to write this thorough review to help Red Sands and any potential renters understand our experience. I'll tell the story of our experience and finish with some of the pros as well. 

We stayed in Ocotillo Springs property #32 to celebrate the New Year 2023. It's a beautiful home with a private pool and hot tub. After all fees and taxes, it came out to just over $1,000 a night (we stayed there two nights and total cost was just over $2,000).

 The place has 6 beds, 6 baths and 27 beds. The only reason our small family of 4 rented this big place was because it has a private pool and hot tub. We were excited at the thought of our family having a great time swimming in the heated pool and celebrating the new year. 

 As soon as we checked in just past 4:00 pm on December 31st, we immediately made sure to start heating the hot tub and pool so we could enjoy it later at night and the following day. The instructions to heat the pool on the thermostat in the house were straight forward. We followed the instructions, waited 30 minutes, and the pool was stuck at the same temperature of 74 degrees. We called the number to get help from Red Sands. That call was short after being told we just need to follow the instructions and wait as it sometimes takes a while to heat up.

 We waited another 30 minutes, and the pool remained at 74 degrees. This second time calling Red Sands, I let them know that the pool was still not heating and the response was “Okay.”.. After waiting 5 seconds and not hearing anything else I said.. So it's still at 74 degrees.. I'm not sure why the person on the phone was being so unhelpful and short with us. I was being very kind over the phone and patient with the pool currently not heating. She then let us know that she would get a pool technician to take a look in the next 1-1.5 hours. The technician ended up calling me since he wouldn't be able to make it out to hour place for another hour and a half. The technician was SUPER nice and helpful. He facetimed us to help diagnose the issue and was very kind.

 Unfortunately, the solution to the pool not heating was to go out to the pump in the back of the house behind the gate and manually adjust the temperature. I was fine with having to do that until I realized that the way the pump works is as soon as the pool hits the target temperature, it shut offs and basically resets. This meant that the pool/hot tub would NOT stay warm while we swam. And basically every time we wanted to use the pool/hot tub, we had to walk out back to the pump, turn it on, and wait an hour+ for it to warm up. And then we had to make sure we timed it perfectly so that we got in right when it reached the target temperature. Multiple times it would hit the target temperature, the heat pump would shut off, and by the time we wanted to get in, it would be well below the temperature we wanted, so we would have to go manually turn it on again and wait.

 Something that made the manually turning on of the heat pump even more frustrating was that the entire time we were there, it was raining/sprinkling. That's obviously out of Red Sands' control, so I don't blame them for that. But multiple times I slipped when trying to get the heat pump on and one time stepped in a puddle back by the heat pump and my shoe got soaked. This obviously just added to the frustration. 

** In summary, the entire pool experience was a disaster and it was the only reason we rented the place. We paid over $2,000 for two nights at a place with a pool and hot tub that didn't heat correctly.

 We could have easily rented a place that didn't have a pool (but has a hot tub!) for $500 total after taxes and fees, and we would have had just as good of a time or an even better time with less frustrations.

 We explained the fact that the pool didn't work the entire time we were there and that it was the ONLY reason we chose to rent their place. Red Sands said the best they could do was refund about $280 (about 10% of the stay's cost). It was better than nothing, but it didn't feel like enough to make up for our experience. There's no way I would have paid $1,800ish (total minus the refund) for two nights at this place with the pool and hot tub not working!
 Aside from the pool and hot tub not working, we were very happy with the inside of the place. The air hockey and foosball upstairs were fun, and the home felt very nice. The beds were also so comfortable that we took a picture of the mattress so we could buy one for our own bed! If it weren't for the great indoor experience, I would have given this review 1 star.

The home was great for our extended family of 26. The activities/amenities for the kids were also very enjoyable. The home was very clean, the kitchen well stocked, plenty of room for everyone. The biggest drawback was the shower in the master bath #2 upstairs. The water kept going cold in the middle of a shower, or not even getting warm at all! None of the other showers had this problem at all, so with two water heaters, it must have been a plumbing problem. It's a deal breaker for us. We won't ever go again unless the problem is solved. The private heated swimming pool wouldn't really ever get over 85.

We have stayed in a lot of places in St. George and this has been one of our very favorite. The layout was great and the home had everything we needed. It was very well stocked. Thanks for letting us stay!

Our stay here was wonderful! So roomy. So comfortable. So many amenities. Red Sands was quick to respond to all my questions. I have no complaints whatsoever. I highly recommend!

We had a great time, place was spacious and kids and adults loved the community pool during the day and private pool at night. Only issue was a leak in the roof that took several days to correct

We really enjoyed our stay! Each room has its own private bathroom which was fantastic for families! Plenty of toilet paper under each sink. The kitchen is fully equipped and includes a griddle, crockpot, handmixer, pots and pans, cookie sheets, etc. We loved the small pool in the backyard for the little kids. The community has a fantastic pool that takes 20 seconds to walk to. Super close to Snow Canyon State Park, bike park, Jacob Hamblin home, running trails, etc.

Our family loved staying at this property during our reunion. Each family got their own room and bathroom…total game-changer! We would love to stay here again.

The house was very nice, big with plenty of room to spread out. The management was proactive in communications and responsive to the one call we had to make to them. The foosball and air hockey were enjoyed. We did not use the Play Station much... our group was not really into that. It would have been nice to have had more games for younger kids (board games, puzzles etc). Also, for younger children, be aware that there is no tub in any of the 6 bathrooms. The house pool was convenient, if small, and very warm (95 degrees). We made use of the community pool, which was very close and a bit cooler. Overall, a very good house for multiple families.

This was a perfect house for a family reunion. Great location, great managment, and great visit!

We surprised our dad for his 85th birthday and we loved being able to all stay together under one roof! Great home!!

Cancun, Mexico, was family reunion destination but Hurricane Agatha forced our hand and within one day re-scheduled our reunion to St. George. 24 of us ranging from 71 to 1! Teenage ages: 20, 19, 17, 16, 15, 13, 12 and 12. There were things to do for all ages and interests. Everyone slept on beds. Very comfortable. Thanks for the quick turnaround!

We loved how clean the place was and that it could accommodate our entire team. There were enough beds and space that no one felt crowded but there were multiple places that we could gather as a team. Amenities were great also. Loved our stay and would love to return in the future.

This is an amazing family friendly place with a great kitchen and tons of amenities to keep the kids occupied and entertained. We spent the week exploring mountain bike and hike trails. The bike pump track was a huge hit and we biked directly from the condo. Spacious, comfortable and well stocked. 5 star!

The property was fantastic! We loved having the private pool and hot tub! The property manager was very easy to communicate with, check-in was super easy, and we had no problems.

The property where we stayed helped make our weekend more memorable. There was plenty of space for groups to gather to play games together, swim, eat, and enjoy a variety of activities at the same time. The accommodations were the right mix of attractive and cozy, and the location of the property allowed easy access to the area whenever we wanted to get away for one reason or another.

This was an awesome home for a family reunion! We had a large group of 32 with a mix of Adults, teens, and small children. The two fridges, pool, and community pool were awesome bonus! The home was large, and we never felt crowded or on top of each other. Each family had their own room and bathroom. We did have an issue that was fixed quickly. All communication with the management was pleasant. All of the other families with us said it was the perfect home. It was an amazing place, and we enjoyed our time! We hope to return in the future.

There were some cleanliness issues with the house which is expected since it is such a big house with so many beds and bathrooms. It would be hard for a crew to clean in hours of same day turnaround. We took care of most of it and enjoyed the amenities. We had questions about pool cover and fire pit and got answers quickly. A rainstorm caused the pool cover to pull out of track and jam and they had a person to fix it within hours. Some other things we liked were Ac worked well for hot climate. (It drips in washing machine drain- once we figured that out we were relieved it wasn’t a leak. ) Pools were nice -both common and private Fire pit Extra fridge in garage Lots of storage and utensils Gas range Big pantry Beautiful views Pebble ice maker Game room great for kids
