Our trip was very nice - the hosts were very friendly and gave us advice and tips where to buy groceries, have dinner and for trips in the surroundings of Vence. The view from the apartment was amazing as you can see mountains as well as the sea. There was a small kitchen nook in the apartment but there was also a larger shared kitchen for all the apartments including a washing machine, dishwasher, large fridge and table. Additionally it was also possible to use the swimming pool and parking for the car was also available.

Mireille and Hugo were fantastic hosts - nothing too much trouble - even gave me a bottle of wine for my birthday! The room was exceptional ( bathroom to die for ) and wifi was good . Guest kitchen had everything anyone would need . Wanted to stay longer as so relaxing !

Work is taking place at the property so although the swimming pool was lovely it was quite hard to access - no proper steps ! Hosts are aware so really not a complaint , more an observation!

The hosts were very friendly and forthcoming. They really speak a lot of European languages. The house is in a quiet neighbourhood with a spectacular view over Nice to the ocean. Our room was clean, comfortable and modern furnished. Small snacks, fruits, tea and coffee were offered for free in the kitchen. Towels and shampoo were also provided.

The pictures of the property suggest more luxury as there is in reality. Most pictures are taken from favorable angles and perspectives. E.g. the infinity pool seems larger as it really is. Additionally dead or half-dead wasps were swimming on top of the pool water. A cleaning pump with a long plastic pipe was always swimming in the pool making it very uncomfortable to swim. Also there is no grass in the front yard, there is a green plastic grass-like carpet. The most unexpected fact for us was, that the owners live on the top floor of the house. So you literally have a vacation in somebody else's front yard. The pool area is actually on the owners porch separated with a small fence. For us personally this in not very relaxing since we really value our privacy. There are three guest rooms on die ground floor. Two with actual ocean view and one with ocean view from the side next to the stairs (except of a smaller window). That's the room with a small kitchen, which is quite useless and noisy. We heard the water pumps of the washing machine and the dish washer in the next room every morning as we slept in.
