The design of the house, the view in front over the hills with trees

Everything was great! Beautiful property with everything you’d need. The house is close to many beaches, whether you like big sand beaches or a smaller beach tucked between rocky cliffs with caves. The owners were helpful and kind. We were very happy with the stay and would stay here again without question.

Karin and Kees are the best hosts and really created a little oasis in the middle of the green valley. We stayed in the freshly renovated apartment "cosy" which is simply incredible. The decoration is made with a love for detail, that you notice from the bathroom to the bedroom. The apartment has everything you can possibly imagine and more! From beach towels to sun umbrella for your beach days in Benagil (which is a super close drive) or a fully equipped kitchen (from toaster, over provided kitchen towels, dishwasher tabs to spices, oil etc). The bed is perfect to sleep in - not soft, not hard - the best? You could even hear the wooshing and wishing of the palm tree leaves when waking up. No sound of any cars/neighbours etc. just peace. We got a complimentary bottle of wine which we devoured on our lovely private terrace. Days spent at the poolside, early breakfast in the sun, or Yoga in the garden - a heaven. The ultra fast wifi is the perfect add on, should you want to work/watch any movies. BTW they even got Netflix - but no worries you won't need it cause you got the stars over your head. The tranquility and utter friendliness of this villa makes it impossible not to completely relax and wind down. We are definitely coming back next year for a longer stay - 5 days was not nearly enough.

NOTHING! GO AND STAY HERE - I mean it!

We stay in the little house, is just the cutest! The decor is top, very good taste. You have all the facilities needed to cook and if you want there’s a barbecue outside in the common area. In the cabin below the sink you have a covid safe kit with some items to wash the dishes and some candles! It’s a very peaceful place, love to wake up and listen to the birds. Very beautiful beaches just 5 minutes away. We only met Kees and his son, they were very helpful and kind.

Absolutely outstanding: this was a truly memorable stay. The host was very kind to upgrade us to the detached depandance which is pretty much a luxury bungalow. It's hard to describe the level of detail in the decorations of this place and the thoughtfulness in all the kitchenware offered. There is literally everything you may need to make your stay memorable and you are surrounded 360degrees by trees and quiet. We truly loved it. We spent part of our stay working remotely and can confirm that the internet connection was excellent. Not to forget that some of the most remarkable cliffs of the area can be reached with a 30 min walk from the house. Highly recommended.

The place is a bit remote so it was exceptional quite at night! Just 2.5 kms from the next beach. The photos are exactly how it looks like - simply great! The internet connectivity is exceptional good - very important as I did need to work 1 day from there - no problem at all. The hosts are very friendly and hospitable. When we reported a problem with the sink it was fixed after we went to buy food! Additional beach towels, parasol, dishwasher tabs et cet. were provided so you do not need to buy it. Even a bottle of water and a bottle of wine were waiting in the fridge at arrival. A comfortable bed and everything else just perfect!

Nothing - except that we need to leave at the end :-), the parking slots might be a bit narrow, so parking there with an SUV would challenge your driving skills (but with a normal rental car no problem at all)

The property is superb, gardens are beautiful and a very relaxing place to stay which isn’t too far away from restaurants and beaches.
