Everything was perfect! The location...right in the heart of all things Mass! The accommodations...spotless & oh so comfy! The little things...snacks, coffee, sound machine & earplugs. Lynda, the host...thorough, kind & welcoming! Looking forward to a next time!

Who knew that such a beautiful apartment could be hidden above Mass Street in downtown Lawrence? I certainly didn't and I've been traveling there for 25+ years. The apartment was gorgeous, great decorations, fully stocked, and with parking! I'm not sure how often it is available, but we would stay there again whenever possible.

Great two night stay right on Massachusetts Street. Great location for dropping our son off at KU. Loft was amazing. Can get a little noisy at certain times of day but ear plugs were so kindly provided. The loft description was exactly as described.

We had a great time at this property! This was our first trip to a rental that included a flight with my son so I was a bit worried about some things. Lynda was very helpful before booking and knowing that we had an infant with us set up a baby gate and pack n play with sheets for us before arrival. They even rubber banded some cabinets shut for us, like the one in the kitchen with cleaning supplies, which was very thoughtful. She checked in on us over messaging to ensure we had what we needed as well. There were instructions on how to do everything and many local recommendations which was much appreciated. Overall, a very nice place with very nice hosts!

We stayed for four nights. Communication and information from hosts was excellent and everything was just as described. Very clean. Easy check in and out. Kitchen has everything one would need and hosts also provide snacks and coffee and some personal touches for our graduating senior. Cannot beat the location on Mass St. Our older (75+) parents stayed with us; while I carried their bags up, they navigated the steps to the loft (wide and well lit) just fine the whole weekend. Beds comfortable, very nice towels…just great all around. No noise concerns from our group (and we didn’t even need to use the thoughtfully provided earplugs). Pro tip from my father-if you are checking out, get up early and move cars out front on Mass St for easier loading…meters don’t charge until 930 am…and helps to avoid any delivery trucks in the alley. Will stay again if we can.

The photo listings are all accurate but can't really convey how beautiful the Main Street Loft is. For 3 friends in town for a college reunion, the setup was perfect - 3 bedrooms, full kitchen, perfect dining table/room, and small living room. We visited Eldridge House, Wheatfields, Global Cafe, Limestone Pizza, Louises, 715, all within 1-2 blocks. Lynda was accomodating, helpful, attentive. Fantastic experience!

We had the best time staying here. The property is beautiful and very well appointed. The location is incredible. We definitely plan on staying here again!

Lynda and Lisa are the epitomai of exceptional hosts. From the fresh coffee cake from the local bakery down to the tissues and earplugs in the room, their attention to detail made our stay perfect. The location is perfect for exploring everything downtown Lawrence has to offer with many stores and restaurants within walking distance. The property was spotless and stocked with anything we could possibly need while staying there. This vrbo is the perfect size for hosting a family, with plenty of space to entertain and socialize and enough space in the individual rooms to ensure comfort for everyone at all times. Lynda and Lisa, keep doing what you're doing and thank you for everything!

I stayed here with my cousin for the bicycle event Belgian Waffle Ride Kansas in October 2022. The shop sponsoring the ride is Sunflower Bike and Sport so I was looking for a place close by. Turns out this loft was literally just down the street! We were able to roll out of bed, open the door, and we were right at the start line. For us, this was perfect! For others not doing a bike race, this location on Mass St is just so convenient. We parked the car once and didn't touch it the whole weekend. We were able to walk to food, coffee, ice cream, shopping etc. Communication was excellent! Check in was smooth. Beds were comfortable. There was coffee and water. We even washed some clothes. The only thing that you might need to consider (not a drop in stars) is the fact that there is only 1 bathroom. So depending on your group this may not work for you. The other consideration are the steep stairs going up to the loft. Not a location for those who can't do stairs. This place has everything you need. I've stayed at many places on VRBO and I don't often give 5 stars but this location definitely deserves it. Would totally stay here again if I were in Lawrence on a return visit! Thank you!

In town for our first KU family weekend, we couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Super location on Mass St, you walk down the stairs and right out the front door to all the action, restaurants, and shops - while being close enough to KU that we could walk up to the football game. Inside, the townhome was spacious and clean, with high ceilings and modern tasteful finishes, and parking for two cars in the back was a nice bonus. I had read some reviews that stated that the street was loud at night, but white noise machines in both front bedrooms cancelled that out. Lynda, the owner was very responsive. We will be back!

This spacious, modern apartment was a great little hideaway tucked above the hustle and bustle of Mass St. It is a very clean, well-kept property with plenty of room for our group (4 adults and a kiddo), with a great kitchen and large dining area for all of us. Bedrooms were also super spacious. Only complaint from the whole stay was that sleeping right on Mass brings a certain level of both light and noise — sensitive sleepers might find that troublesome. But to be expected on a busy street, and nothing that a sound machine (provided by the hosts!) and an eye mask can’t fix. Was a great stay overall, will be looking to stay here again for our next trip in town.

We loved everything about this place! It was clean, spacious, cute, well-kept and the owner was so nice! They even had snacks and water available for us which was a nice touch. It was perfect for our week in Lawrence! We will definitely be back!!

We can’t say enough nice things about this property! The location is ridiculous—you literally walk out the door into the heart of downtown Lawrence. Plus convenient parking included. It was perfect! The kitchen had everything and more. There were extra throws to ensure comfort and even noise machines for blocking out sound. These owners thought of everything! It was wonderful in every way.

Great spot! Apartment is immaculate, all furnishings and appliances are perfect. Really appreciated the extra touches - paper goods, cleaning products, snacks, coffee and cold water. Location is just what we wanted - walk right out onto Mass and shop and dine. We loved it - total all thumbs up from us!

We had a great time at this apartment located in the heart of Lawrence. All shops and restaurants are at your doorstep. The apartment is beautifully remodeled and so comfortable. Having two parking spots was very convenient. We will definitely be staying again.
