whilst we booked and received confirmation to stay at cottage 57, including receiving instructions to access the key, we received a message on the day of arrival 57 had been double booked and we needed to stay in cottage 55. We soon learned 55 is 2br, not 3 and not as well set up for our daughters dog. I called a few days prior to arrival and spoke to the owner whose number is listed in the booking who referred me to the property manager in Jurien Bay. The purpose of the call was to confirm my son and daughters partner are also joining us and the beds will be prepared. I was advised that’s fine and to leave an additional $30 on the table once we leave. After this disappointing outcome we chose not to, and vacated early on check out, noting we would have left little for the cleaners to do. We travelled a long way (my son from Brisbane and my wife and I from Auckland to visit our daughter in Perth).

Location was great. Spa bath great. Couldn't work out how the TV worked but the hosts sent someone out straight away to help us and this was great.

It was very dark - light bulbs should be of a greater wattage. Mix/match of crockery etc in cupboards - had to keep opening cupboards to find what we wanted! Dishes should be in cupboards and the pantry kept specifically for groceries.

Location is pretty close to the main town. A very spacious accommodation.

Towels were too rundown, we need to use our own.

Could not get the tv to work, I have done this type of TV set up a zillion times but this one had me stumped, bedroom ceiling light not operating, tried to change globe but fitting fell apart?

Everything was good for us….no complaints

Toilet, bathroom and kitchen sparkling clean. Fantastic location.

Some surfaces were dusty and the bed had what looked like dog hair. I'd say this was an oversight due to the high standard of cleanliness in other areas.

Location was good. All the shops across the road and a short walk to the beach and jetty.

No information on the use of facilities, ie television and tourist info on Jurien Bay and local areas. Restaurants , cafes and taverns menues would be nice as found in other tourist accommodation. Only thing found our accomodation was the fish and chip menu. The place was a little run down and could do with a bit of a spruce up.
