Setting was as promised.. rather magical . We had a hard time leaving the apartment. One must be patient to arrive because it isn’t easy at first to understand where we are going , but once you arrive everything falls into place . Luca was so helpful with any question. Thank you. One of the highlights of our trip to Amalfi Coast.

My family of 4 (2 kids, 2 adults) stayed for a few days in mid March. The pre-trip communication from Franchesca was nice and informative. Luca met us and took us to the villa. Very simple and clear instructions for the use of the villa. Unfortunately for us, Italy was experiencing some unusually cold weather, so we didn't get to enjoy the beautiful patio. The kitchen and bathroom were small, but that's pretty ordinary for European rentals. They also could have used a couple more blankets for the extra bed. On our next trip to the Amalfi coast, we'll probably stay here again. It was just as advertised.

My husband and I had a great 4 days relaxing after a busy stay in Venice and Rome. We used the recommended taxi service and did a visit to Pompeii on our way from Naples to Praiano - well worth it. Even though it was late Winter - there was plenty to do and the views along the Amalfi Coast were just amazing. Would love to visit in warmer weather. This is an area that has lots of stairs and hills - so be mindful of this when visiting. Old Rocco Palace was easily accessible and Luca was on hand to assist with luggage. Would definitely return.

Thank you Luca, we had a beautiful stay. The house is exactly as represented. We had the luxury of staying 9 nights. The transportation is very easy. It was great to come home to a beautiful retreat. The Master bedroom is painted the most serene blue with sheer blue drapes that just flow in the beautiful breeze from the sea. Simply stunning. The host was very attentive and we had no problems, check in was a breeze. Thank you again, hope to see this beautiful city again.

We stayed at Francesca's Palace Rocco "Red Moon in Love" and are very pleased with our experience. Red Moon in Love is down a beautiful flight of stairs, so inviting, leading to a very large and quite private patio. There are plenty of loungers and a table outside for dining and barbecue grill, but most important a fantastic view. The house was sparsely decorated, no clutter, and the most immaculately clean rentals we have ever stayed in. Each room has a gorgeous view. The living room and bedroom have small balconies and you can open the doors for the most amazing breeze and views. It really is breathtaking. We like to cook in a lot and the kitchen had the very bare basics and was sufficient and also with a beautiful view and windows that open to let in the sea breeze while you are cooking . There are no beach towels so you must use the bath towels and recycle the towels often. There is a washing machine, so we washed our towels every day after the beach and hung them to dry outside on the handy drying rack and this system worked very well for us. The air-conditioning system works very well, there's plenty of storage for our things, and we found the firm bed to be quite comfortable. We think the stay was topped off by the fantastic experience with Francesca and her team. They were very responsive, welcoming, and very lovely. We would definitely visit Palace Rocco without hesitation. Praiano is a stunning town with some of the nicest locals we have ever visited with. We are very pleased we chose to stay here and at Francesca's. **One more note, you absolutely must wear bug spray when using the patio after about 5pm. They didn't seem to bother my husband much but I always attract mosquitoes!

We rented a scooter and drove everywhere no problem once we learned to navigate between the busses and the twisting very narrow roads. Be sure to make a reservation for the restaurant Frattoria Latagliata which lies not in the busy center but past the main part of Positano high up the mountain road in an area of Positano called Montepertuso. We ate above the clouds with a stunning view of the coastline. The best food of the trip. Family run with no menu just one price (40 euros each)for a bottle of wine and 5 HUGE courses of whatever Mama is cooking that day. You will be amazed and stuffed! Stop at Praia di Marina for a beach day. 22 euros will get you 2 sunchairs and an umbrella for the day. Add parking if you drive there. Worth every penny for this experience like Santorini meets the Grand Canyon!This was truly a dream spot too beautiful for words. It must be experienced! Thank you Francesca! We could not ask for more. Clean and functional apartment with a wonderful terrace and garden, shaded from the heat of the day. I cooked several nights, perhaps an extra salad bowl and tongs would be great and a platter for meats and cheeses would be handy. These are just minor thoughts. Our son loved that he had his own comfortable sofa bed and slept soundly. Views - sunrises and watching the boats and the unbelievable moonlight reflection at night. Great supermarket 'Tutto per tutti' in next higher street. Fabulous produce, so fresh fresh daily and lovely people. Nonno next door even offered his first of his new season plums to us through the railings. Restaurants are very good and well priced in Praiano. Beach club at La Praia great. Transport easy - orange bus praiano to positano loop, blue bus internal praiano. Sita bus stairs down to the main coast Road (tickets from nice people at tabacci. I think we walked 40km in 5 days, up and down stairs and over the cliffs - we are fit but be prepared for the burn. We would walk forever just to come back to Praiano and to stay here with Francesca's help and Luca's kindness - you will have the best time here! Praiano is a relaxed and quieter choice than the hectic pace of positano, more authentic. We will be back for several weeks this time. Ciao ciao

From our first contact with Francesca our experience was great. She was quick to respond, answered all our questions & helped with a car to Naples at the end of our trip. Luca was wonderful! He met us to show us around, suggested places to visit & made dinner reservations for us at El Pino. Don't miss El Pino, fabulous dinner, service & food. Luca also set us up with a full day trip to Capri. We were picked up at the piazza, taken right to our beautiful 12 guest boat, & delivered back home at sunset. It was an amazing day on the water where our skipper showed us many special spots around Capri. The apartment was lovely, very clean with wonderful bedding & everything you need for your stay. They even left us some goodies to get started including a bottle of proseco. We would not hesitate to stay here again. Wonderful place & great people.

Villa Red Moon in Love was just what we wanted as was Praiano itself. We were pleasantly surprised at how spacious it was. We took the train from Rome to Naples where we hired a taxi, arranged by Francesca, to take us to Praiano. We were met by Luca at the town center and he guided us to the villa. There is easy access to the apartment from the town center, where you will find a local bus stop as well as a mini-mart that carried everything we needed. The garden patio is full of flowers, lemon trees and gorgeous views of the sea. Located between Positano and Amalfi, Praiano village has all the beauty of the coast without all of the tourists. Just down the steps from the villa is the shop of Ceramica Lizart (beautiful pieces) and down more steps to the harbor and restaurants. We loved Costa Diva restaurant, fresh fish and stunning views. Be aware: you are on the Amalfi coast so, there are many steps to Praia beach and some restaurants. The Villa Red Moon was exactly what we wanted and needed after a busy visit to Rome. All of the people we dealt with were very friendly and helpful. We did not really have enough time to do everything we wanted, but managed a boat excursion from Praia beach to Capri and we hiked the Path of the Gods from Bomerano to Positano. We highly recommend both! It was hard to pack up and leave to come back home. We loved it! Enjoy!

My wife and I and another couple shared 2 bedrooms, 1 bath and one dining room/kitchen at Palace Rocco in October 2016. The stay was great, the listing was as expected, however browsers of the property should be aware that the photos incorporate rooms from the 3 different apartments that are in the one building on homeaway- there are photos from other apartments than this one. This did NOT result in any unpleasant surprises for us, but it could if you don't know what to expect. Our apartment was quite roomy and had wonderful views and a pleasant ocean breeze. The deck was well laid out and provided tons of romantic lounging and dining space and an outside gas grill. The kitchen was quite small - really only 1 person could be in there at a time - and the utensils etc. provided were on the sparse side. Another apartment in that complex has a gourmet kitchen - if you plan to do a lot of cooking get that one. Access to the building, like many Amalfi coast towns, was down a long medium steep but very few steps trail, or a shorter very steep lots of steps trail. We were greeted promptly on arrival and guided by the local handler for the property to our location. there were about 30 steps down to the main entrance, so not handicapped accessible. The apartment itself was clean, neat, tidy, and the beds were clean and comfortable - a bit on the firm side. I will caution those not familiar with Amalfi that if you expect to drive yourself (which we did for some of our stay) be prepared for reasonably stressful driving on very narrow town and coastal streets, populated by HUGE tour buses. If you are bringing a car, bring a small one, and pay for the additional parking. Buses and water taxis are the way to go - relatively inexpensive when you factor in gas, and they come and go on a regular basis. Restaurants in Priano are limited but high quality. Grocery places are well stocked, even carrying house wines and plenty of fresh foods, vegetables, and home essentials. There were some mosquitos in this location in October, however mosquito repellent was provided. If you haven't visited the stairmaster and are planning a trip to Amalfi I would highly advise you get your legs in shape. The number of hikes up, down and over stairs and hills and mountains is pretty staggering just to get around various towns. Do not let the downsides discourage you - Amalfi area is wonderful, beautiful and the people there are kind, helpful and outgoing. Staff was great.

My wife and I just spent several weeks traveling around Italy, staying in various apartments. First, I will start with the positives about this property. The views are wonderful, the property was very clean and spacious, and both Luca & Francesca were helpful & responsive. We enjoyed the city of Praiano, rather than staying in the crowded and much more touristy, Positano. The people in Praiano were were friendly and helpful and there were some great restaurants. Note that the apartment itself is on the eastern end of Praiano, so to get to the center of town, it is a little over a km walk. There are shuttles at the restaurants, if you have had too much to drink, or it is raining, which we took advantage of on a very stormy night. The description of the apartment was fairly accurate, however, the outdoor furniture pictured on the website was different than the actual furniture in the unit. The main complaint that we had about the apartment, was that the bed was extremely firm. It is important to note that most of the beds in Italy are much firmer than we are used to in the US & Canada, however, this was the most firm of the 5 places we stayed on this trip. We did mention this to Francesca and she was sympathetic and had mentioned that she will look into getting a softer mattress top, as she had done in some of her other units. Therefore, this may not be an issue going forward, but you may want to check to ensure she has done this, if you have back issues or difficulty sleeping on a hard mattress. While the apartment was clean and spacious, we did have to purchase some basic amenities, such as toilet paper (only one roll was left), laundry soap, and coffee filters. This was not a big deal, but may be helpful to know ahead of time, in case you arrive late and wish to do laundry. If you are a family looking for a clean, spacious place, with a nice view, in a quiet town, this is the perfect place for you! If you are used to higher end places, with many amenities, you may need to adjust your expectations slightly. All in all, the Amalfi Coast is beautiful. It is expensive to get from one location to another, unless you take the buses, which are an adventurous experience, but can also be crowded and have long lines. If you opt for private transportation, it will cost you 60-100 euros to get between the cities on the coast, so you may want to factor that into your budget.

Really enjoyed our stay in Red Moon. Property was as described - very spacious, clean, well maintained. Description says 1 bedroom, 1 bath, but the pictures show 2 bedrooms. It is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath. Both bedrooms are spacious, as is the bathroom. Francesca & Luca were helpful and provided good information. Location is perfect. You can walk down to the marina and little beach, and to the market and a couple of restaurants. We enjoyed eating at Armandinos at the marina for dinner and La Moressa (bistro above market) for breakfast and dinner. Activities included taking the ferry to Capri from Positano, doing a private boat tour of the coast, hiking the Path of the Gods, etc... Tons of great options. Definitely recommend staying in Praiano vs. the more crowded Amalfi or Positano. Makes for a much more enjoyable stay. Did not dislike anything about the house or stay other than the crowds in the other villages. Would absolutely stay here again and recommend to others.

We travelled as a family of four (two teenage children) and had a wonderful stay at Palace Rocco. Francesca, the property manager, was in touch before we arrived to provide very helpful advice and to send us arrival instructions. We decided to hire a car from Naples and Francesca organised for off-street parking, which was extremely helpful as parking in the summer is very difficult. 'Red Moon in Love' is a beautiful apartment for a holiday on the Amalfi Coast. The property was immaculate and well equipped (including air conditioning in the lounge and bedrooms, very handy in the heat of the summer). We were met by Luca when we arrived who showed us around and even brought us some shopping to get us started on our holiday! The view from the rooms is incredible - beautiful blue sea as far as the eye can see. We loved the terrace for evening meals and it came equipped with sun loungers, table and chairs and a BBQ. The galley kitchen was well equipped and met our needs. The location of the property is fantastic, very easy to access the beach, a nearby grocery store and the local bus. The views are spectacular. One thing we hadn't realised before going is that the villages are all built on very steep slopes that plunge into the sea - so be prepared for lots of walking up and down steps. If mobility is a problem then the local bus stops a short walk away from the property, which is handy. Praiano itself is quieter than its neighbouring towns of Amalfi and Positano, but it has some wonderful restaurants (we ate at Il Pirata, Che Bonta and Kasai) and was perfect for exploring the Coast (e.g. we visited Pompei - 80min drive; Amalfi and Positano - 15-20min drive; Sorrento - 60 min; Capri - by boat trip from the beach). The boat hire on Praiano beach was also fantastic for hiring fast dinghies to explore the coves and islands. The owners of Palace Rocco and Luca could not have been more helpful to us during the stay and instantly responded to any questions we had. We have had a wonderful holiday and we would highly recommend Red Moon to anyone!

We spent our holiday in white moon in love in Palace Rocco. Everything was amazing. Especially the view from the terasse. The description was accurate, the property was clean. Francesca answered everytime fast, the service was very good. We bought our food bei Luka an his Mama, we got the most things we wanted. They were very kindly and helpful. We told our friends about our holdiay and showed them our photos. Everybody liked it. Because it is mountainous, its not for people with walking difficulties or disability. In every case we will return to white moon in love.

Excellent villa - beautiful location and Francesca and Lucca were incredibly helpful. We loved the apartment and terrace and it was well positioned for many wonderful places to visit. Will definitely return.

So, we were so happy with this property that we are already planning on next year. My wife wants to bring the entire family and rent the adjoining units. If you want the touristy hustle, this is not the place for you. If you want to relax and enjoy yourself, this is it. We based out of here and then just rode the local buses anywhere we wanted to go, then when we got sick of the crowds we came back to Praiano and relaxed. There are lots of great restaurants nearby, many with a shuttle service if you don't feel like walking, or can't after several bottles of wine. We also enjoyed purchasing from the nearby small groceries, and preparing some of our own meals. The fresh fruits and vegetables are wonderful and reasonably priced. We have been telling everyone we know to put this place on their bucket list. Everyone was friendly and helpful even the locals we met that did not speak our language, we seemed to still be able to communicate(smiles are a universal language). Luca was extremely helpful helping us schedule some of our guided tours, and giving us tips on what to do. We have found a new favorite vacation destination!

Quelle belle villa ! Nous étions à la villa Red Moon in Love. Un endroit de rêve. Autant à l'intérieur de la villa qu'à l'extérieur, tout est beau, propre. Les grandes fenêtres nous permettent de sentir la méditterrannée partout. Les photos présentées sont très représentatives et nous avons même trouvé cela encore plus beau sur place. Nous avons profité de la terrasse à tout moment de la journée. Les propriétaires sont très professionnels et Lucas à notre arrivée a été très aidant. Avons visité Amalfi, Positano, Navello, Capri car tout est proche. Épiceries très près et Lucas peut supporter si besoin. Si vous devez louer un villa sur la côte, c'est cette villa assurément !
