We had a wonderful stay at this condo. It was the nicest condo we have rented at any of the beach vacations we have had. Everything was clean and very comfortable, with great views. Robin was very responsive to all communication. I highly recommend!

There were 6 of us all ages and we love our oceanfront paradise. It was exactly what the pictures looked like stocked with a bunch of supplies, and very clean. I would recommend this place to everyone. It has it all, also our favorites Caribbean Adventures snorkeling at Buck Island, and Mermaid Adventures. Can’t wait to Olán my next trip

We loved EVERYTHING about this condo!! Super clean, absolutely amazing views, short walk to the beach, plenty of room for my family of four and all the conveniences needed to make it a comfortable and enjoyable stay!! If we come back to St. Croix, and we definitely hope to, this is exactly where we will choose to stay again!

Gentle Winds is a special place! This condo has one of the best locations on the property and it fit our extended family perfectly :)

By far one our fav places we have stayed in 30+ visits to the Virgin Islands. Unit was very well done and clean and so close to the beach and pool. Fun Tiki Bar and a combination of renters and owners added to the experience. Will repeat!

I have been to Gentle Winds property four times now. I usually like to jump around to see which property felt best. I have stopped looking as I am only going to stay right here…although it may be a little more expensive … it’s all worth it… for a good reason everything is renovated everything is laid out wonderfully and I felt more at home in this property than the other property. Miss Yvonne contacted me a days before with the instructions instructions are playing and simple and easy upon entrance there’s a beautiful a binder book with all of the information you need for the house and your surroundings and what’s around - I thought was really nice and my goodness the pictures don’t do justice. If you’re looking for a piece of paradise away from home where you feel at home, you need to book here but please don’t book on the days that I’m coming back!

We loved our stay, by far the best vrbo experience we’ve had. A 5 night stay with the 6th night free would be a nice option especially toward the end of the high-season.

Everything was perfection, Robin the property manager was awesome, all the amenities were perfect, will be back many times!

This condo rental is ideal! The location is absolutely perfect, the condo is clean and set up with renters' needs in mind, and the community property is fantastic. The private beach and enormous pool were awesome and never crowded - many times we were the only ones there using them. The property manager Robin was wonderful to deal with and very quick to answer any questions we had. The only thing that would have been nice to know beforehand is that the water is not ok to drink. Having arrived late at night, it would have been nice to at least have a jug in the fridge to get us started until we could make it to a store the next day to get groceries. Other than that, we had absolutely no complaints and loved staying here! If we ever come back to St. Croix, we would definitely rent here again :)

This was a great place for us. Space for everyone to get their own bed and no bathroom sharing was a plus. The view and location to beach and pool we great. Make sure to stop by the beach shack for lunch! I loved sitting out on the balcony and watching the water and stars. Gentle Winds was a great point to go into Christiansted and Frederiksted. Communication with Robin was easy. The only suggestion I have is to update the Welcome Book with recommended grocery stores. Some are more expensive then others on the island, if it wasn’t for the tv being replaced when we got there (new 65” :) then we wouldn’t have known which stores to avoid. Stop thinking about it and go ahead and book, you won’t be sorry. We’re sure to return to Gentle Winds if we make it back to St. Croix.

We loved our stay here. Wonderful view of the sea. Beautiful setting. Everything you could possibly need in the condo. Robin checked in with us before our arrival to make sure we had all the info we needed. Will return!

This was an "once in a lifetime" vacation for my family. This rental and the experience we had will be turning it into a repeat vacation when we can. The location was perfect in relation all the amenities that is offered at Gentle Winds. The unit itself was updated and the perfect size for my large family to spread out and have there own space to enjoy this vacation how they wanted. Can't wait to enjoy this Island Paradise again!

This place was excellent in all ways. The grounds were well maintained, fantastic location, modern furnishings of high quality, and a responsive property manager. We did have a problem with a stove malfunction and Robin had a service person to the condo the same day we reported it. I will mention a few quibles, but they are just quibbles. This is a 5-star rental. There was no dining room table, just a elevated counter area with tall chairs. The height of the chairs may be an issue for shorter guests. Also, the master bed was also very high off the ground, also an issue for shorter guests. The TV service is 4:3 ratio non-HD delivery. Depending on the channel watched, one either loses the edges of the broadcast or the the wide format is scrunched into the 4:3 ratio. I did not think non-HD service even existed any more. This will not be an issue for those using a streaming service.

We had a great time at this beautiful condo. It was nicely decorated and recently had the kitchen renovated so everything was new. It was very clean and well equipped for all our needs. Great view from the balconies!

The location of this unit was spectacular with gorgeous ocean views! Waking up to the waves and gentle breeze was refreshing! Watching the stars at night from the upper balcony was magical! The condo was beautifully updated and very clean. It had everything that we needed to have a fabulous vacation! Loved the sports bar for drinks and lunch! Robin did an excellent job communicating with us to make sure all of our needs were met! The location was perfect and made navigation from there easy! We definitely want to rent this unit again! And we have recommended it to family/friends! Our daughter & son-in-law live there so we will hopefully be back soon!

I highly recommend this location. The property manager was friendly and continued to check up on us to make sure everything was great and gave plenty of suggestions to keep our week fulfilled with great places to see, good restaurants, and where to do your shopping for the week. This property is like a resort with a beautiful beach, pool, and bonus beach bar with the best pain killers on the island. It conveniently 20 minutes from everything so that makes it so easy to plan trips. The property is perfectly stocked with anything you need from kitchen items to roku & games, WiFi, snorkeling gear, beach towels & bags and numerous outlets for all your charging needs. I do recommend securing a rental car.

We stayed here for a family reunion/celebration in June of 2021. We enjoyed our stay here at Estate Salt River. The property manager, Robin was very communicative and anxious to help us get into and settled into the unit. The wifi worked well. The rooms were comfortable. The bathrooms are updated which was nice. The only reason we didn’t give it 5 stars is because one of the downstairs bathrooms shower drain did not drain and the master bed was not the most comfortable (this might not be the case for you depending on how you like your mattress.) We enjoyed having the kitchen, the plenty of room, the a/c worked well, using the beach cooler for our drinks and snacks at the beach, the beautiful, unobstructed views of the sunsets, having the washer and dryer to use, lots of beach towels to use, and the great location of this unit. It was a very quiet and relaxing place to stay. We always had a parking spot right in front of our unit which was nice. Overall, it was a nice place to stay and we would stay there again.

Stayed here week of 5/23/21 - self, husband & 2 adult children. 3 BR & 3 Baths made it perfect for us. You will need a rental car if staying here, but drives were easy. One of the most well-equipped places I've ever stayed in in terms of the kitchen. Was nice that there was a small amount of coffee, tea, sugar, bottled water, some drinks for when we got there. Robin was responsive & very helpful. The community was quiet which we liked - easy access to the pool & beach. Plenty of outdoor space if you want a quiet spot to sit & read. We used the public grill 3 times which was nice. Would definitely recommend & would stay here again if we ever go back to St. Croix.

I didn't realize how spacious the home is! There were 4 adults, and having a 3 bed/3 bath home was perfect! We were able to push the two smaller beds together and have 3 separate spaces to escape to if needed. The upstairs room is basically it's own little apartment, with two huge balconies, a wonderful/huge waterfall shower and comfy bed. This is one of the properties that you are truly waterfront. Just a few steps from the pool and beach front, where there is also the opportunity to do a little snorkeling. We enjoyed chatting with other folks in the complex, having the small bar open, and just all in all a really terrific place to land for a vacation. The location is also wonderful in visiting Frederiksted, or driving around and seeing the rest of the island. Close to grocery, local restaurants, etc. ***Be sure to check local restaurants for the need for reservations. We found a number of times we couldn't get in for dinner without them, or due to closing early. All in all, I highly recommend. Robin, the property manager, is responsive, knowledgeable and super sweet! We even had a "pre travel" call to walk through all the things.

We really enjoyed our stay at this property! Incredible location on the North shore. Gentle Winds is secluded but also close enough that both sides of the island were only a half hour drive. The unit is well appointed, bathrooms had recently been remodeled, and the views were unbeatable! Would absolutely consider staying there again. Robin was very responsive to any questions we had and offered some great recommendations for activities and dining.

Robin was tremendously helpful, the condo was perfect and the location was even better. We stayed for a week and it was perfect.

Our third trip back. Love Gentle Winds. New mattress in master BR was a nice update.

Family of six had plenty of room to be together and to find some private space. Beach and pool are a blast and it was so easy to get out and explore this beautiful island. We hope to come back!

Overall, great beach house! Wonderful view, wonderful beach. Lots of cabinets and storage closet locked, minimal access to beach gear/supplies. Lots of air in the water line, very low water pressure and the TV did not work.

We had a family of 6 stay for 5 nights in I-2 and really enjoyed ourselves. The kitchen was well equipped so we were able to cook most of our meals. The beach and the pool were perfect.

The condo was in a great location. Amazing views from living room and master bedroom Condo was very well equipped.

Our Condo I-2 was amazing. We had plenty of room to spread out and there was nothing like waking up and having that amazing view of the beach and ocean. The condo was well maintained and very clean. Loved that there were beach towels many other amenities in the condo to use. We loved our stay.

The condo was simply the best place for my family. One of the closest buildings to the beach and the pool was absolutely beautiful. There was a little repair construction on the property but nothing that affected us directly. My family of six stayed for a week without being in each other’s way. Everything was comfortable and homey. It was so nice to be able to dry towels and clothes at the end of the day. And the kitchen had everything we needed to prepare a few meals and snacks. And almost every night my family had the room to sit on the comfortable living room fiurniture and watch tv together before bed. But, there are TVs in every bedroom too. I can’t say enough times that this place was perfect for us! It seemed to be a great location to access the rest of the island. Bill was extremely helpful and easy to work with. I highly recommend this condo!

Great family location and felt like we had the entire place to ourselves.

Bill was absolutely wonderful to work with - and while on island with a couple of long power outages (had a tropical front come through), Sharon was fantastic helping us get things back "online" when power was restored. The unit was very roomy and layout is great for 3 couples though we brought our two 17-year old nieces we had "too much room". After touring the entire island while checking off our activity list the girls agreed that we picked the BEST home base spot (the beach, the pool, the location, the breeze was the BEST and we checked out some of the nice resort areas). We were able to arrive in the afternoon, checkin get over to Salt Bay for a Bioluminescent Kayak Tour (we are seconds to the kayak shop) and have dinner by the water. The second day allowed for rest and relaxation at the condo (I think the girls would have been happy to never leave). Other activities included Buck Island (a must do), beach and rainforest horse back riding (another must do), Fly Time and Jet Skiing, Massages and some shopping downtown in Christiansted and Fredricksted- all completely easy logistics from a great centralized base camp.

Nice condo, Beautiful views, nice pool and beach. We enjoued the snokeling. Bill was easy to communicate with and timely with responses.
