My family was displaced while we were having work done in our basement. We needed a place to do online learning. My teens were able to get online with the wonderful access at the house and there was plenty of space for our 2 teens and 2 parents.

We stayed one night after a long day of travel. I was traveling with my four grown sons and the house was perfect for us. We enjoyed the patio are and the living room tv. We used all the sleeping areas and loved it Chris was great at communicating with me. He also welcomed us with goodies and his coffee and maker was amazing. My husband and adult daughter and I stayed at the Ballard Bunkhouse for 3 weeks in February. We were there for my other adult daughter's surgery, and rented both upstairs and downstairs units. We love the downstairs unit with full kitchen, big windows and two bedrooms. The upstairs unit has a loft which I used often for zoom yoga classes. Both units are fully and thoughtfully stocked with coffee, filters, creamers, fluffy towels, soap and shampoo. The neighborhood is very walkable to the Ballard locks, multiple restaurants, and other Seattle neighborhoods. But perhaps best of all is the owner, Chris. He was so understanding when we had to reschedule our daughter's surgery, and even brought over a gourmet food basket the day of the surgery. We were also here for the huge snowstorm, and Chris came by to shovel snow. There is a deck outside with table and chairs and umbrellas too.
