Beautiful property with a stunning view! Stylish decor and very comfortable for our needs. Attended a wedding and location was super easy to walk to all the wedding festivities.Hot tub perfect for unwinding at the end of the day!

My husband and I had a relaxing and peaceful stay. The view was amazing and walking through the door and taking it in never got old over the course of our four night stay. The home was immaculate, comfortable, and well-stocked. The locals were very friendly and welcoming. We had a tasty breakfast at Mega's Cafe and made several trips to Worton's Market for groceries. We also went into Auburn one evening and had a delicious meal at Josephine's French Restaurant. Finally, we went to the Ralston Picnic area which was about 25-30 minutes from the house and it was a pretty and secluded little area along the American River that we basically had all to ourselves with exception of two kayakers who left shortly after we arrived. In all, it was a great little escape from our everyday lives. Carlie was a gracious and responsive host, and I would highly recommend staying at this beautiful home.

We had an amazing stay at Carlie's Foresthill home. The house was so thoughtfully decorated + came fully stocked with everything you needed for a comfortable stay. Carlie was very responsive when we reached out with any questions and her directions for how to use things in the house were very thorough and clear. My absolute favorite part of the house was just how stunning the views were - from every single room in the house you had the most breath-taking views. I would recommend this house to anyone who is coming to Foresthill for a getaway or for a wedding in town - it's the perfect location where you feel secluded but it's so easy to get to town. Cannot recommend this property enough. Thank you, Carlie for a wonderful stay!

Beautiful property overlooking forested gorge. Recent 2022 Mosquito fire burned through the area, but plenty of forest and views remain. Only suggestion, not necessarily a complaint, is the house lacks any window coverings and the sun and heat (especially in the summer months) can be overwhelming. It was 72 degrees during our stay and remote shades would have been nice. Peaceful and updated getaway home.

Four of us stayed here for New Year's and enjoyed our stay. The views are outstanding but do understand that this home is amongst a burned (and recovering) area. It was quiet and peaceful. Although the kitchen is nicely appointed in terms of all manner of appliances, if you intend to really cook in this beautiful kitchen, you may want to bring your favorite pot or pan.

We had a wonderful time and this mountain getaway. The house had all the amenities and is beautiful. The view was amazing, we enjoyed sitting on the deck at night and star gazing. We would definitely be back when we come to visit family again!

There are limited VRBO choices in Foresthill. We were there for a wedding and were happy to have found this property which had amazing mountain views, a beautiful kitchen and modern vibes.

Loved the relaxing feel of this property. Very quiet and serene. No matter what anyone in town says about the views from various places, the very best were from the beautiful back deck. Take a minute to bop into the cute shops in town. Also, the IGA grocery store was very well stocked! Loved our stay.

This stunning home offers breathtaking views of the mountains, and we had the most wonderful Mother's Day weekend here. The host was incredibly welcoming and easy to converse with. I highly recommend this place, especially for a weekend getaway to escape your busy life schedule.

Truly an amazing modern home which is beautifully outfitted with art and furniture. An expansive view of the Desolation Wilderness mountains set right on the Western States trail. Great sleepy mountain community of Foresthill with just enough food and entertainment to offer options to staying put in this great home. We will be back.

This house is amazing to stay in. It’s beautiful and clean and has an amazing view. For the overall rating I have it a 4 out of 5 stars because while the house is very new, the hot tub outside seems very old. It didn’t keep its heat long and even got chilly before we decided to get out. Other than that, it’s a very nice place to stay. Will definitely come back.

The home was great and very clean and tidy. The kitchen was outfitted better than most and there were a lot of spices etc for cooking if needed. The view is totally amazing and Carlie was available if needed.

Beautiful modern home with spectacular mountain view. The bedrooms were larger than they seem on the site photos. We showed the home to a few family members who loved it as much as we did. Carlie was very welcoming.

Beautiful home tucked away in pristine woodlands. Highly recommend staying at this beautiful home. One thing to note is there are only 2 designated bedrooms with queen sized beds and 1 room with a pull out couch and a futon in the main room.

I booked the home for my family including two teens for my nephew's wedding...that very sadly was called off two days beforehand! I had a hunch that this house was not to be missed, so I brought my son and a friend of his to Foresthill anyways. I am so glad I did! We had a fantastic stay. I could have sat on the deck enjoying the wonderful views all day. The house is beautiful, immaculate and high-end. I highly recommend for either wedding accommodations or for a great base to explore the local area. We enjoyed a great hike around Sugar Pine Reservoir, explored the shops in Old Town Auburn and had a fun dinner at Maker's Mountain Eatery and breakfast at Mega's. I've driven by the Foresthill turnoff dozens of time on the way to Tahoe and am glad to now have experienced the beauty of this part of Placer County.
