Overnight stay was fine, event rental was not as promised, grounds were dirty after paying $6000 additional for the backyard to be prepped and clean of debris.

Most everything was very accommodating for all of us but there are a few things I believe should be addressed. We were disappointed by the grill not working and no one fixed them while we were there. Also only half of the electrical outlets in the kitchen were working and the trash outside was completely full. Another thing we did not appreciate was that check out time was 10am and the cleaning people were there at 9am just waiting for us to leave.

However when checking in there were dying roaches in 2/3 of the beach huggers - a lot of them I have pictures. The wifi didn't start working until our last full day, meaning no internet or TV. The second floor shower in the main house never worked, totally broken. And when we paid extra for the sand to be raked, they came and raked but the spikey seeds were still all over the yard. For ever problem I had the service team responded fast and politely, but it was frustrating and embarrassing (the bugs) to have to deal with it all in front of my family and guests during my wedding weekend.

It was large enough in the back yard to accommodate our 115 guests comfortable plus all of the vendors! It was a dream wedding at the perfect location and very private (unlike other beach weddings that take place at large hotels on the beach) We had our entire bridal party stay at the house with us all weekend and they amenities were pretty good, only thing I would suggest is new beds they were not very comfortable at all. Property is well kept, plenty of up lighting (we did *** on the bistro lights for our wedding) and seating. Would highly recommend for a wedding venue!!

Rented it for a 4 day weekend which allowed us to enjoy the beach, entertain family/friends and relax before and after the wedding. Within walking distance to several bars and restaurants. The house is much smaller in person. We had to do a lot of planning to strategically fit 24 guests in the house. After all the planning, we walked in to find an entire queen bed replaced with one of the sleeper sofas from the living room. This completely changed the sleeping arrangements and many people were displaced.

In addition to sleeping arrangements, the parking here was a HUGE issue. Not to mention if you are planning to have a wedding (LEAVE ROOM FOR VENDORS). Many of our guests carpooled and they still had nowhere to park.

Lastly, the trees in the backyard dropped spikey pinecones... a lot. Resort Rentals did have someone rake and blow the backyard, but it was not enough. I have videos of 23 house guests and my close family hand-picking these tiny, painful balls the morning of my wedding. It seriously hurt with every step you took and the raking the company did only brought them up to the surface. Thankfully, my wonderful friends collected two boxes of these pinecones and we were able to dance the night away pain-free.

Overall, we had an amazing stay, got beautiful pictures, and got a night fully of memories that will last a lifetime.

It was a beautiful, picture perfect location for our beach wedding. We set up a 30’x45’ frame tent in the backyard and it fit perfectly. My only complaints are that the housekeeping and maintenance of the rooms needs improvement. One of the beach hugger suites AC didn’t work, and they didn’t fix it until the next morning, and my sheets were not changed before our arrival because they were sandy and hairy.
