We enjoyed a joyous Christmas with family from all around VA. The Recovery Room was spacious and ideal for our large group. I’d highly recommend it!

Hi Sandbridge Blue. Last day and we had a great time. Just wanted to pass on some observations we all had. 1. When my son arrived he noticed that the shrubbery in the front had overgrown to the point of blocking the walkway. 2. He said the deck and patio around the hot tub looked like it had not been swept since last summer. He spent some time and did that before the rest of us arrived. 3. As we stayed some family felt the place could have been a little cleaner. My ex-wife who owns a house cleaning business did not agree until she started searching for a lost flipflop. After that she changed her mind and said the place could have been cleaned a little better. 4. The outside grille looked like it had not been cleaned or used since last summer.so it looked really bad. Cleaned it some but then found that the igniter did not work. Found 3 lighters in the house that also did not work. When we did light it we found that it did not work well. 5. Wanted to play volleyball but the net was missing. Did not matter because the grass there had not been mowed. Look like weeds. 6. Ques for the pool table were missing tips Someone in the family replaced them. 7. Pool and hot tub were great. Someone even came to check the chemicals. Did point out the sand in the hot tub but he only did the chemicals I know that keeping sand out of the hot tub when you are on the beach is impossible but may be easier if the outside shower worked. The location was amazing. The house needs many updates and repairs. When I pay for a vacation house I don’t any to have to clean and be on the phone with the rental property all the time. AC was broken, leak in dinette and bedroom, dryer did not work well.

The location is great, easy access to the beach which is beautiful. The house is a bit tired but clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed to have a good time with our loved ones. If you go in the winter like we did, the heating is uneven throughout the house. Some rooms are hot, others cold. Then all rooms are cool and then a few get hot. We had to have space heaters which were provided by the maintenance company. Overall, a fun time was had by all.

Our family enjoyed the week at this cute beach house. It had easy access to the beach, an amazing screened in porch and huge balcony. The kids loved the pool table, hot tub, basketball hoop, and easy beach trips.

Over all property was just as stated. Would be nice if there were some beach chairs or umbrellas. The are no beach items at all so you have to buy everything. There is also road construction currently going on right in front of the house and in the neighborhood. The house is really nice, clean, and very close to the beach. I would stay here again.

Great house

Absolutely loved the house. Beach house vibes all around. Kids are asking to stay there again! The location can’t be beat. You don’t have to pay the price of an ocean front house but there is a path right beside the driveway that takes you straight across the street to the beach access. Perfect! We especially loved the screened in porch, the lit up ocean display in the kitchen (awesome wow factor!), the vaulted ceiling bathroom, I could go on. Perfect beach house for a perfect beach vacation.
