We stayed at the hut for four nights and found it beautifully designed, and to our surprise quite spacious compared to huts we've stayed in before. There is plenty of space for two people to sit around and relax and a very adequate kitchen (we only used the microwave, but there is a double hob and cooking utensils provided). The bed is 'cabin style' and very comfortable, with some storage space at one end which is quite convenient so your bits and bobs don't fill up the dining/kitchen area. The location is lovely, not in a busy area but with easy access by foot to the seafront and all the amenities in the village. Parking is right by the Coop front door so getting settled is very easy, and there was a thoughtful welcome hamper containing some local produce, as well as tea and coffee and milk being available on arrival. A very cozy place in a lovely area!

We really enjoyed our stay in the shepherds hut. Was very comfy and cosy even when the wind was blowing a gale.

The Coop is well fitted out with everything you need for a week away. Beware no TV. It’s in a great location within walking distance if Milford on Sea and the beach as well as a great location to visit other places too. The only minor downside is the hut is close to the road so we experienced some road noise in the morning but we got used to it.

We had a very nice stay at the coop. It is very well equipped, clean and the welcome pack was very nice. A great location for lots of activities. Would definitely come back

The Coop is very clean, well equipped and everything is of high standard. It was perfect for a few quality days spent for just Grandma and Grandson. The only slight negative was the evenings offered no comfy lounge seat for me to sit while my grandson slept. I ended up bringing in an outside chair which had cushions, which worked fine.
Easy walk to the village and pond, and lovely walk to Hurst Castle and lighthouse, which is a must see. My seven year old grandson loved the whole experience. Highly recommend.

The Coop was a lovely place to stay for a few days holiday offering everything needed for a relaxing time. Milford on Sea was within walking distance ( taking about 10 mins) providing a range of shops, restaurant and bars. Would highly recommend.

The property is as advertised. It is close to the beach and village. It is very well equipped. We thoroughly enjoyed our 17th wedding anniversary in a very intimate and memorable location.

Perfect base for exploring New Forest and South Coast within walking distance of a village with pubs, restaurants, and shops. The hut is lovely and the bed is very comfortable.

The property was just as described. The bed was so comfortable. And the village was so friendly and had everything we needed. Lovely walks we had a great time. First time away with our puppy and she loved the whole experience. Would definitely book again. Fish and chips from Mr Pinks amazing thanks for recommendation. Xx

We had a lovely stay at the coop. Very intimate, extremely comfortable and peaceful. Able to stroll to the town and to the beach for a nice walk and pub dinner.

I stayed with my young dog for three nights whilst visiting family in Milford. The Coop was perfect for me and the dog. The finish of the Coop is high spec, and Rachel as a host was superb. Quick responses to questions and a lovely welcome breakfast basket on arrival. If your looking for a base for the New Forest, and to explore the area, this Coop is ideal. Will definitely stay again. A quaint Shepherd's Hut accommodation for any couple. Located in a lovely quiet private position, ideal for visiting the beautiful local and wider surrounding area.
The hut is very clean and in excellent condition and very functional as well as comfortable for most needs.
The host provided us with a lovely quality starter pack, providing all the essentials to save any chasing around at the very start of the holiday.
We enjoyed a few days stay here and hope to return again for some more quality holiday time.
We thoroughly recommend staying at this novel accommodation and thank you to the owner for providing the opportunity.

Nice clean property, small but well equipped, we were lucky we had great weather so could have meals outside the hut, a rainy week may have felt different.

This property was perfect for our long weekend away with our four legged friend. Wonderfully clean and cosy and great to have a breakfast hamper on arrival. The location suited us perfectly, wonderful walks from the doorstep of the coop. Easy walking distance of the beach too. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend to family and friends.

Perfect location
We were so happy staying at The Coop, just the perfect spot to enjoy exploring the local area. The Coop was even better than we expected, the shepherds hut was decorated to a high standard and really comfortable….a real home from home!

Stayed here for my wife’s birthday weekend, and what a lovely weekend it was. The ccop is beautifully clean and a great spec, couldn’t fault it and will definitely be visiting again.

My wife and I were very impressed with the hut, the spec was finished to a high standard. We both had a very relaxing break, the bed is really comfy, slept so so well. The hut was very well presented with everything very tidy and a little hamper for us. The hut is in such a wonderful location only a short walk from the beach where we spent most of our stay! Would recommend!!

Beach and local restaurants easily accessible. Private entrance and enclosed area ideal for dog. Accommodation has absolutely everything you could need for short break. We had a lovely time. The accommodation is located discreetly adjacent to owners property and has off-road parking.
