One of the coolest places we have stayed!

Our nerdy little family had a blast staying at the "Hobbit Hole"! We watched the Hobbit trilogy, played games, and tried a few local restaurants. As for the listing, we really enjoyed the décor and attention to detail. The spa bathroom was also a wonderful bonus. It was clean and spacious, and the beds were COMFY! Also, Michael (the host) was great with communication and helping with any questions we had. We highly recommend this experience!

The detail and effort in the decor and design of this place was simply fantastic! Well worth the trip. I did have my 15 month old toddler with us , that was my only downside. There are many treasures inside the hobbit house that I had to protect from little tiny curious hands. Also there was a stairway that made me nervous for a curious climber. But I still found time to soak , relax and enjoy the clawfoot tub. The couch is the bomb, the beds are the bomb, the entire house is fantastic!

This property was so ornate and cozy. We spent our evenings binge watching the entire Hobbit series, and our days cooking and hiking a short drive away. The beds and couches were extremely comfortable. I took so many photos of the details, carvings, decorations, and aesthetic. We cooked full meals in the kitchen, which had plenty of cookware. The setting is under the owners home, and we heard him playing piano- which was a cool vibe tbh. We would definitely go back.

This property was just liked described. It has some great decorations and the woodworking was by far the best I've seen in my life.

The property was just as described and it is amazing the attention to detail with the design and decor. The kitchen was fairly well stocked and the appliances were higher end. The beds were super comfy. The spa shower was great and the bathtub, a plus after a long day of hiking. The hobbit house is very convenient to shopping, restaurants and state parks. We truly enjoyed our stay!

I was able to book this with only a days notice. It was a really good value and the property owner was amazing! I would highly suggest this property for a short get away for a couple for sure! The communication between the property owner and I was awesome and it made the stay so much more enjoyable! This property is extremely clean and well kept. It was one of the more unique properties I’ve ever stayed at and well worth the price! I will most likely be booking this again for sure!

We enjoyed our stay at the Hobbit hole in Russellville. The woodwork is outstanding, and the huge green door made us feel like we were in our own Hobbit hole. We really appreciated all the decorative touches that made this space feel like we were staying in a fantasy. However, the fantasy lost some magic when we heard footsteps coming from the house above us. The owners were kind and helpful, though, especially when were were having difficulties with the TV. We discovered some cool restaurants and shops in town and enjoyed hibernating as a family. Thank you for a restful and fantastical experience!

Amazing Hidden Gem

I am so glad I ran across this place, it was so much fun. the property was very clean and the host was very nice and knowledgeable. He even provided snacks which i thought was a great touch. The house had so much detail it was incredible, genius for thinking to make a hobbit house in your basement. I will be returning many times to come!

The property looked as if they were working on it and seemed like some of the finishing touches were not completed. Some areas inside not finished or painted and the patio had bricks stacked up.

The interior of the Hobbit house was done nicely. It was comfortable, modern and fun place to enjoy sitting back and enjoying your favorite Tolkien movies.

Amazing special place
This was the perfect place for our small family to stay while in the area visiting extended family. Plenty of room, extremely comfortable beds, wonderful TV, massive sectional couch, beautiful woodwork, art, and curios, luxurious bathroom, fun extras like snacks and coffee provided. What a gem! Can’t wait to see what the owner has done the next time we visit!

Best hobbit house!
I booked this place as a birthday surprise for my husband. We stayed in a hobbit cave before but this one was better and we can't wait to come back. What made this even more special for us was the movie selection! Tons of movies to choose from, hubby had a hard time picking since there were so many. The details everywhere you look really made this a special place.

Better than the pictures. This place is a work of craftmanship and detail. I asked the owner to come down and visit with us and he was very kind to do so. He told us all about the beginning of the Hobbit house and his future vision. So clean, so comfortable, this is a wonderful place. A hidden gem.
