We found everything to be clean and in good working order except for the Comcast TV remotes that need replacement. The beach, restaurants, Long Boach Village and Long Boat Key ingeneral were beautiful as always. We had a fun and relaxing time, and enjoyed hanging out with people we had met on our previous visit in 2022.

The village of Longbeach is lovely, quiet and a great place to walk or bike with little traffic. The beach is only a couple blocks away. There are also nice restaurants within walking distance.The appliances in the kitchen (dishwasher, washer, dryer) are old and noisy. Kitchen lighting is poor and there is but little counter space for meal prep. The house wasn’t clean. When we moved in, there was long dog hair hanging out of the furnace filter grill and some stuck to the dining room chair legs. The hair in the furnace filter gave the place a layer of pet odor on top of a layer of general mustiness. The property description indicates there is a pool but it’s not on site. We were informed that a pool membership could be purchased from the Cedars for an additional fee.The rental office is nearby (on Broadway) and had our keys ready when we arrived.

Ideal situation for our needs. Longboat Key wonderful as always. Very nice neighborhood. No disappointments.

That being said, I certainly didn't expect a refrigerator that had a towel bar screwed to it as a handle, nor a thermostat that I was locked out from adjusting. I also expect screens on all the windows so that they can be opened to enjoy the lovely January Florida breezes. All floors are tile, and the grout throughout needs a good deep cleaning. The furniture and beds were comfortable, and the linens were abundant and of high quality.
