Nice and warm, comfy beds and lots of space for parking

Although a beautiful building, it was poorly maintained (house and garden) and in need of significant care and attention. The house was dirty when we arrived, especially the kitchen. I ended up having to clean food out of the fridge and all utensils and crockery / cutlery / glassware needed to be washed before we could use it. The main shower didn’t work and the wifi was poor which stopped us from being able to video call our family on Christmas Day. The fireplace was not cleaned - we cleaned it out and lit a fire only to find the chimney would not draw properly and clearly needed to be swept. This meant to room filled with smoke, albeit the smoke alarms were not working! The garden was a mess with rubbish all over the place and the hot tub was just a dirty old paddling pool with a pump on it.

The house as a whole! Had everything we needed. LOVED the garden and all the outdoor elements.

Some of the doors didn't close properly, which isn't great in a house full of people.... a good thing we were family!

We had mice (owner instigated removal but we had to share our house and food with them during our visit) Aside from the fridges there was nowhere to store food. No shortage of cupboards but all full of crockery, cutlery and cooking pots and pans. Only one shower (in the master bathroom) and that had a minor leak through to the kitchen. The second shower (in the bath) did not work. Not a lot of storage space for clothes in the bedrooms 5th bedroom is accessed through the 4th bedroom. This was not obvious in advance and was a minor inconvenience. Looking at the bookings most guests were weekend only. We were there for a week. The lack of food and clothes storage was more problematic to us Quite expensive (£5000 for a week) but I guess that is what you get for location (right by Goodwood House and Circuit)

The house is very well equipped, the hosts very responsive and everything was ready for us. The indoor and outdoor spaces are really big and we appreciate having 2 bathrooms (3 toilets).

We loved the property. Loads of space for our group of friends, very private. Great value. Hosts very friendly, quick to respond and very accommodating.

the property was good but the following needs attention: signage to property needs to be better as finding the property is a little difficult. dishwasher was broken and unusable showers need to be better as main bathroom shower’s water flow was difficult to adjust so suddenly hot water was flowing and could be dangerous some rooms were cold although the heating was on.

Wonderful garden. Has everything you need. Games facilities, board games, books, washing machines, great fridges, all sorts of quirky additions and lots of space. A lived in house great for families.

A Little tlc on cleaning and soft furnishing would make this an excellent place to stay.

I stayed here the night before my wedding and it could not have been made more special. The owners left chocolates in each room and a bottle of champagne for us to toast in the morning. It was the most perfect stay! Thank you so much!

There were too many flies in the house. And the communal bathroom needed to be better as the shower wasn’t working properly. But other than that everything was fine.

The property was huge with a fantastic garden and lots of things to do! The owners kindly left lots of things to do within the house and things to use also. The table tennis, hot tub and trampoline were personal favourites along with a bbq and coal supplied by the fire pit area!

The windows were a bit tricky to lock shut and open sometimes but they were older windows which conformed to the house. We noticed also a leak in the kitchen (above sink) whenever the shower upstairs was used but this didn’t affect our stay!

Everything was lovely The house had everything you could want an abundance of gadgets and garden kit. The house was just right for a family of 9 and 2 dogs Not too posh but everything was there Brilliant week Thanks

I loved the house, was nicely cleaned and extravagantly spacious. Owners were really kind and and easy going to talk to and to contact, if any help was needed. it was a most certainly a commendable and undeniable experience! Overall stay was virtuous and diverting, all thanks to Eric and Tatiana. Thanks for your hospitality :)

Nothing much except the hot tub. It was kinda weird considering we had to switch it on every 2 minutes and the lights were always flickering. Something to do with power usage maybe? But nevertheless the stay was good.

Comfortable beds.

Run down, scruffy, horribly overpriced. We were very disappointed. The website looked great, but the house was very run down, e..g. the furniture was very scruffy and dirty, window panes were missing, toilet seat broken, the garden poorly maintained, two bedrooms stank of cigarette smoke/cannabis. Added to this, we didn’t feel truly safe: Covid 19 safety measures were not complied with, nor were fire safety measures or hot tub hygiene. Amenities advertised on the website were missing. The only good point was that the beds were comfortable. For what we paid this place should have been immaculate. We tried to get some money back but the owners were totally dismissive.
