Breakfast was great variety and very delicious.

Navigation was strange, no clear directions and nothing in English.

The room was functional and comfortable but the lighting quite bizarre, it took some effort and creativity to switch off the ceiling lights. I just avoided switching them on, because the room had plenty of other lights (bedside etc.). The hotel is located above a brewery and a huge restaurant with interesting creative design. It is close to the train station, restaurants and shops. The communication with clients seems to be automated and it was in Dutch which wasn't a problem since I could translate it into English through mobile applications. At the same time, all the payments (tourist tax, rooms, breakfast) being made online through links in messages the hotel kept sending, it was, at times overwhelming. Overall it was a good stay. A nice touch was the coffee machine in the room.

absolutely nice, new, nice design, no complaints there

we needed to go to last floor up, sth like 8 up, not nice for my wife who has problems with stairs. Then luggage up is really heavy!

Great location, very comfy room in attic. Bar downstairs makes you feel welcome. Not a touristy place at all.

Extraction fan in bathroom is a noisy nuisance. Bathroom needs stronger lightbulbs. Hard to shave in the dark:-)

Amazing experience, super cosy room, beautiful views (we were in the Van Hettinga suite), also the bed and the bathtub were very comfortable. We will definitely visit again!

Maybe it would be nice to add bathrobes and slippers because of the bathtub.

It was a convenient location near train and city center. I enjoyed the restaurant and friendly staff.

Friendly staff! At the breakfast, I saw nice tables upstairs and asked if I can have breakfast there, even if those tables are not prepared for breakfast. A female staff nicely allowed me and accepted to go and down several times for my breakfast.

Process to enter the property was complicated. I didn't see WiFi password.

The staff were lovely & welcoming. The food in the resturant was some of the best i had whilst in The Netherlands; not to mention it is well priced.

The water in the bathroom got everywhere because the shower water kept flowing in places it shouldn't have...but, still a comfortable bathroom!

Nice location, close to the station, easy access for travel and for local shops and sights. Hotel was very clean and tidy and the room was spacious. Plenty of coffee available in the room and also a fridge. The lady serving breakfast was lovely and very helpful. Overall, very good.

Access was odd. You have to use a web page link to open the door to get your room. This is not very usefull if you have no internet access, also beware, the instructions are only in Dutch, which is no problem for us but may be for others. On arrival it's not obvious how to enter the rooms and the bar staf were unhelpful. There is no reception, we therefore could not get any extra pillows until the next morning, which was not very useful. The hallway was messy with tools and cushions and outdoor furniture piled up, which gives a bad impression on arrival, but it's no big deal.

There is no elevator; you'll have to carry your luggage at least 3 stairs. There was no desk in the room to set up a laptop, the room was more than spacious enough to put in a desk.

The room was fantastic and the bed was super comfy. Great breakfast and amazing location right in the centre of Leeuwarden. The bar and brewery looked good as well, sadly we didn't stay long enough to try it out.

No parking. We had a vw camper van and struggled to park it, as it would not fit in the recommended car park.

The welcoming instruction email was only in Dutch. it would have been helpful if there was an English translation for non Dutch speakers.

Excellent location, Fantastic service, and was treated to a beautiful breakfast. And enjoyed the very comfortable bed

Only one thing was disappointing and that was the TV connection, constant loosing it.

Everything! This is one of best accomodations I have. ever had. And the city itself is like in a fairy tale. Top!

I could not stay much, much longer.
