The location was great. Some of the staff (Rocky and the cleaning crew) were wonderful. We could see the ocean from our patio. The gardener was also a kind person that did a good job. We had fantastic massages on-site from a local provider. Tashin and Nicole were incredible.

The biggest complaint is the loud music played on site every night until 2:30 am. Our room was the closest to the restaurant and bar on site. The single-pane windows and wooden door could not keep the sound out. We were informed on Friday afternoon that a concert in the parking lot on Saturday night would run until 2 AM or possibly a little later. They played until 4 am. The bass was so loud our room door shook/vibrated in the door frame. My earplugs could not block the sound. We should have been informed of this event before arrival to make other arrangements. We were looking for a relaxing and restful experience. I did read the reviews about noise being an issue. I've traveled to other islands and always bring earplugs. There are always strange sounds that make it hard to sleep. This concert was a whole new level of disruption. Many of the staff were off the next day and the beach restaurant and bar closed early to let them rest after attending the concert. There were other inconveniences. The WiFi was newly updated and was only working intermittently. There was no laundry service available. There was an extra deposit for beach towels. I got my deposit back without issue. It was one more thing to mess with. Some days there weren't enough facecloths for housekeeping to leave fresh ones. The bed pillows were old and lumpy. There was only a sheet on the bed no bedspread or coverlet.

The location was fantastic. Rocky, the bartender, was exceptional. All staff were friendly. Gardens and ground were beautiful and well maintained.

Music was way too loud during the day. The "deluxe" room that we booked was no different than a standard except for proximity to beach and a mini fridge. No laundry facilities as advertised. A massive concert was held on the property 1 night while we stayed. Music so loud it shook the window. Went until 330 or 400am. HORRIBLE.

I like hotel in the room and beach.

This is a place don't have celebrate for special birthday, party and bored. No guard ASLO need more the update in the place. Not properly the breakfast. None special dinning.

I liked the location and proximity to the beach

the bathroom was run down, there was no iron in the room and the one I eventually received was burnt with electrical tape holding the cord together

The location is good, right on the beach.

At this price breakfast should have been included. Saying that, the attached restaurant wasn't much - never saw anyone eat there at all... There is a neighboring coffeeshop, "Francescos", where you can shop for "anything"...don't. Totally overpriced and extremely bad/dangerous quality.

The location has a decent number of bars and restaurants nearby, and obviously the beach.

The floors were dirty, there was a heavy smell of mildew, the grout work and tiling were discolored from mildew, the shower curtain was of poorly made cloth, all of the lights were just bulbs directly in the sockets with no covers, the front door had no knob, just a lock and a shed handle, the upholstery was damaged, the sheets were stained, the tv was broken, and the wifi was awful

Food was great, hospitality of staff including the cleaning staff was exemplary. I asked for ground level rooms as I was travelling with my mother which was accommodated. We had a nightmare journey to the resort but they were our saviours and helped us with our issues.

A lady selling fruit on the resort from time to time (not employed by Tamboo), did not return my change although requested twice. I did not want to be confrontational on holiday. Lesson learned though give exact money including any tips you want to give. Anything over and above will be taken anyway.

The location was fabulous, very easy to get around.

The room is in dire need of redecorating. The Wifi connect was abysmal. The shower kept going from hot to cold. There is a build up of soap scum on the tiles around the shower area.

Very beautiful place would definitely stay again staff was so helpful and lovely
