Ours was an annual trip to celebrate twin brothers birthday. There were 6 of us. This house is beautiful! Plenty of space for everyone. 4 large bedrooms on the first floor, every bedroom is a master! The up stairs floor is very spacious with 3 queens and a twin bunk over each and an extra daybed. Large spacious kitchen area that flows into the living area. We couldn't have asked for a better setting or a more beautiful home. We'll definitely be back!

This property was fantastic for our extended family trip. The house was beautiful with lots of light and fantastic views of the beach. The open-concept kitchen and living area had plenty of space and was a comfortable area for our large group to eat and hang out. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed to prepare meals. The four large bedrooms on the main floor were all spacious with comfortable king size beds and adjoining bathrooms. It made us feel like we all were getting great rooms instead of the usual conundrum of “Who gets the nice room this trip?”. The bunk room was also a fun and comfortable space although the bathroom was somewhat small for the number of people it accommodates. We enjoyed the spacious deck and spent most mornings drinking coffee, rocking in the rockers, and enjoying the view. Despite the heat and humidity, the near constant ocean breeze made sitting outside on the deck comfortable. The beach was immediately across the street and was very quiet, most days we had it all to ourselves. The property is an easy 1 hour drive to New Orleans and a short 10 minute drive to Bay St. Louis where we enjoyed the restaurants and shops. One drawback of the property is that the stairs required to reach the house are steep and lengthy and would be a significant challenge to anyone with mobility issues. The luggage lift is a lifesaver, but there is no way for guests to avoid climbing the 28 or so stairs. Still I would definitely recommend this property.

This house is beautiful, spacious and well equipped. The cargo lift was a wonderful amenity for hauling up our luggage and groceries. The stairs are no joke so the lift was a huge help, for sure! The location was perfect for our trip. My son’s 21st birthday was coming up and he wanted to celebrate in New Orleans. We chose this house because it looked so peaceful and was only an hour (or less, depending on how you drive) away from New Orleans. I didn’t want to stay overnight in New Orleans because a long stay in a bustling city is not my vibe. The house is also close to casinos and other forms of entertainment. The beach is right across the street so it took no time at all to get our toes in the sand (which was at the top my personal to-do list). It was so refreshing to wake up early, pour my coffee, and sit in a rocking chair on the large front porch to watch the sunrise. I did this every morning during our stay and each sunrise did not disappoint. My only complaint is the grill, but I’ll start with the positives first. There was plenty of propane (2 tanks) and the grill worked well enough to cook six steaks. The house was equipped with grilling utensils and platters to get the job done. The negative, however, is that the grill was far from clean and there were no tools to clean it ourselves. We searched for a steel brush or something but didn’t find anything. We ended up using a ball of foil to clean the grates. The side burner—which we did not use—had grease or some kind of dirty liquid all around it. The cleaning crew obviously missed this one detail. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed this house and our stay and certainly would not count the grill as a deal breaker should we decide to stay again.

The owners of this property have thought of everything and provide a resort level experience for family gatherings or retreats. The kitchen is well equipped for large meals, crab boils plus the home has an outdoor grill and 2 outdoor eating areas. The bedding was ultra comfy and the room darkening shades on the bedroom windows guaranteed sleeping in an extra hour or two. Our family/friends tribe loved it and highly recommend renting this VRBO.

Our family thoroughly enjoyed our time in Waveland. The home itself was beautifully built and decorated - and had ample space. The bunk bed room upstairs was the perfect setup for our boys to have their own space. We would love to come back in the future!

We rented this property for a friend's birthday/retirement getaway and it did not disappoint. The house was perfect. The kitchen was second to none and the bedrooms were extremely spacious and beds were fabulous. If you are looking for a beautiful home to spend some time in Waveland, MS, look no further. Awesome property! Well maintained and equipped with everything you could need for a family vacation. Plenty of room inside and out! We spent most our our time outside on the front porch visiting and taking in the beautiful views! The inside was perfectly laid out and decorated. Super comfy beds! A group of 8, 4 couples in age range of 62 to 74 stayed in your lovely home for a long weekend. The home is exactly as pictured and described. It is an excellent location and a short 10 minutes drive to restaurants and shopping. We had to get in touch with the owner regarding a question and Heidi was quick to respond and to resolve a small issue that was out of her control (Lovebug Season). There is an elevator for supplies and luggage but not for people. There are several steps so renters must be able to climb. This is clearly stated in the description of the home along with photos of the stairway.

Beautiful home. Perfect layout for our family of 15! Kitchen and living room space is open and large enough for all to gather for meals and family time. Clean, comfortable, and a beautiful view. Close proximity to the beach was wonderful. Bay St. Louis is quaint beach town and just a short drive or long walk away.

This was a great spot to gather for our family! The beach and water across the road from the house was super easy for littles to play in! Great location near Bay St. Louis, easy drives to Gulfport, Biloxi, and NOLA! The house had everything we needed for a week’s stay! LOVED the breezes (and especially the rocking chairs) on the front porch! Very peaceful. I would stay in this property again!

Amazing home!

Property was just as listed. Beautiful place! Even our littles (3 & 5) were impressed. They said it was the best vaca house ever and we agreed. We had the beach to ourselves most days and only a 5 minute ride to some really good restaurants. Kitchen was well stocked for the days we wanted to cook. I am sure we will be back. The littles said so.

Host was excellent to answer any and all questions quickly and offer suggestions about things to do and places to eat. Very helpful in letting us know about checking in and rules/policies for the house. Very good selection of stocked kitchen utensils and amenities. Beach never had hardly anyone on it in front of the house. Had a great time.

If you have a big family, this is the place for you!! The upstairs bunk room housed all our teenagers and each had plenty of room. The lift for our luggage was the best. Great location with plenty to do.

The house is very beautiful with a lot of parking space. The lift was a life saver. I do not think we could have gotten our stuff upstairs without it. The upstairs room was amazing, 10 or 11 would fit comfortably. King beds in the rest of the rooms made for a very comfortable sleep. The beds were amazing and comfortable. The kitchen was fully equipped and had everything we needed to cook our breakfasts and dinners. The property was right across the street from the beach. I could go on and on but I'll just end with, you will not be disappointed if you rent this property.

Our family of 9 (ages 20-84) thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house is very well equipped and was stunningly clean upon arrival. Being across the road from the beach was fantastic! We spent most mornings enjoying coffee on the porch before heading down to the beach for a couple of hours of water fun. It was Memorial Day through June 3, and we basically had the whole beach to ourselves in the mornings. Bliss! Note that the water is brown, because the Mississippi River dumps into it, but some days it was actually clear enough to see to the bottom. The sand was white, and the beach was clean. During our week, we spent half a day in New Orleans (an hour away) and an evening in Biloxi (an hour away) but spent the rest of the time in the Waveland area. Several restaurants are in Bay St. Louis, and a Walmart is less than 10 minutes away. Great location + beautiful house + a week with family = a great vacation!

Would definitely like to return. Definitely will recommend to others. It is a beautiful property.
