Mattress cover and fitted sheets would be great but all the positives outweighed the negatives

It was spacious

The smell was horrible. So many devices with scents. To cover up another smell? The couch in the living room was not clean or able to sit on. The photos on the website looked fantastic with a modern trendy touch. In reality It looked outdated, old and uncomfortable. We decided to book into a hotel and throw away our €212 of this overprized apartment. So disapointed at how it was presented on Booking.com. Don’t understand all the ‘fantastic’ reviews without comments.

A good location for ventas/bars.

Firstly following instructions we dialed the number given to gain access to the apartments. However nobody answered the call but fortunately someone was exiting the flats so we gained access to the locked key box - not a good start. The kitchen although relatively modern had a dangerous broken electrical socket and it was obvious to anyone that the microwave was not functioning as the dial was 'scrambled' and the door left open, if you closed it it just kept on working. The apartment was booked and paid for 4 people staying, however only 3 beds had been made up plus there was only sufficient bath towels for 3 people. The clic-clack plug in the bathroom sink stuck closed and needed to be prised open with a knife. Finally it had not been cleaned properly before our arrival as there were coins on the floor in the main bedroom and some broken plastic pieces on the floor in the salon. Also, not the owners fault, we were only able to use the secure underground garage for the first night as someone else had parked poorly stopping us gaining access to the allocated parking spot.

The apartment itself was clean and bright.was good for 3 people.

Comfortable apartment only 7 mins walk from Plaza de la Constitución where most restaurants and bars and shopping areas are situated, there were however cafes right outside the apartment and some smaller independent shops nearby. It was three mins from the Cathedral too. Everything in the apartment was quite new and modern which was nice. Jesus the owner or agent was very nice and helpful and despite the language difference sent us some suggestions of things to do and places to visit using Google translate. Huelva is an interesting city with a number of attractions. We liked the museum and art gallery and the Rio Tinto pier on the river. We especially also liked the Rabida Monastry and the Muelle de la Carebellas site which was really interesting and great value.

A couple of tiny things. Although the apartment was generally extremely clean the rug in the sitting room was badly stained and some doors could have been cleaner especially the bathroom door. The bedding on the bed wasn't warm enough for the weather , only a sheet and I could only find a duvet with no cover in the wardrobe in our room. On the second night I found a bedspread in the wardrobe in the other room ,which was o.k. There was no tea towel or bathmat . As we are older we might be quite fussy. These things might not bother others.

The location, cleanliness, light and comfort, and above all the owner's kindness!!

Everything was perfect! I have absolutely nothing to dislike!
