A bit cheeky to charge $130 cleaning fee but then require guests to clean up. I would not stay again because of that.

upkeep of the property could be better attended. Cleaning include-cobwebs, a good detail cleaning around the interior/exterior and garage. Fill in the drive way so folks won’t lose their mufflers. The living room sofas could be replaced. pretty worn out.

A lovely spacious house, in an ideal position, that had everything we needed. Communication was great, when we had a question it was answered quickly. Would definitely recommend staying here.

Perhaps a few instruction manuals for the equipment in the house would have been useful, but can't say there was anything we didn't like.

Large comfortable house, superbly equipped with everything you need. The kitchen was really well set up with pots, pans, utensils etc. The house is in a lovely private location surrounded by ferns. The owner was a good communicator and helpful. Would stay here again anytime.

This property is spotless from top to bottom, boast a very well equipped kitchen, laundry facilities, ensuite & more. It’s handy to local restaurants tour operators & beautiful walks. The house is located in a quiet street and set in a private garden.

We found the bed in the master bedroom to be too soft. There weren’t any toiletries in the ensuite either which we thought unusual. Neither of these things are deal breakers.

Great location and very clean. Communication with the host was fantastic and they were helpful with the booking process. This was a short stopover during a road trip around the South Island but would have happily stayed for longer if we had the time.

The location was fabulous—quiet, at the end of a cul-de-sac. It was spacious and clean. The covered outdoor space was appreciated as it rained during much of our stay.

The property is in a quiet area not too far from the restaurants and supermarket. Large and spacious with nice decked area at the rear of the property .

The property is in need of updating. The main bathroom has a large bay style window but does not have any blinds so no privacy when bathing or showering . Lack of kindling for the wood burner.

The place was spacious and in a good location. The kitchen was big and there was plenty of space to sit. The bedrooms were reasonably sized and I liked that there were 2 big bathrooms. There are lots of windows in the house so great sunlight but it would have been nice for an option of blinds in the bathroom as I found it a bit awkward. There is a nice big deck although we didn’t use it but we could still appreciate it.

The facilities were a bit dated - old kitchen, kitchen equipment, toilet. The beds were too soft (but a lot of people like this so it’s not really an issue). Each bathroom just had 1 toilet roll which was not sufficient for a 4 night stay and 4 people. The place wasn’t adequately cleaned, there was hair left in a few places, the bins outside were full and there were no bins in the bathroom. The stoves were old fashioned and needed to be lit manually. Only one kitchen towel was given, and the oven mitts need to be replaced as they were thin and you could definitely feel the heat. The driveway isn’t sealed so beware.

This was a beautiful place. Very private and quiet. Close to town and activities. It had everything for a comfortable stay.

I wished the weather had been better so we could have taken advantage of the lovely deck!
