The house was clean and tidy. The kitchen and dining area made family dinners easy to prepare and enjoyable. We were able to see eagles, sunset views and a meteor shower while enjoying the dock. Grateful for the bumpers on the dock to protect the boat we rented as we had some windy evenings! I would definitely stay here again!

The location was fine, although the cabin was somewhat dated contradicting the online images. Also the sleeping of eight was a bit deceptive as the loft settings were not ideal.

Beautiful house centrally located on the lake! The deck was perfect for reading and outdoor dining. The house fit four adults comfortably and the kitchen allowed easy meal preparation. Very relaxing trip!

Wonderful location on northern end of the lake with incredible views of the sunset and sunrise is just as beautiful. House is very clean and has everything you need for a fun family vacation. The owners are very friendly and responsive to any issues. If you love water sports or just simply enjoying the views of this magnificent lake than this place will not disappoint.

Lovely Lakeview and dock We were there preseason so lake traffic empty. we were able to rent a pontoon from “Rubber Duckie” Which is literally less than five minutes away. my one-year-old granddaughter enjoyed the toys that were available. We all enjoyed the fire pit on Saturday night.
would consider renting again. I give it five thumbs up.

A great place to relax with Famiky

My husband and I chose this home to stay at for my Birthday in September. We could not have a picked a more beautiful place to stay. This place was welcoming and truly had the feeling of "home"! We had a dock for our boat and the Pirate's Cove Marina also worked with us to launch our boat and store the trailer. Bill and Fran Sorrano were wonderful hosts and we look forward to our next trip to Lake Wallenpaupack with our kids and grandkids!

This home was wonderful for our family trip. It was spacious and decorated tastefully. The location was perfect. The deck, fire pit area and dock were highlights for us. We would definitely stay here again.

We walked into a life long memory. We had the time of our lives where not seeing old friends for 40 years turned into a weekend that will last forever. Cute small home with charm. 7 guys was a perfect fit. Fire pit in the perfect spot. Just enough space for all.

This was an absolutely beautiful cabin by the lake. Plenty of room for our blended family of six to spread out and do our own thing. Kids had a blast swimming in the lake, and watching the boats go by. Can't wait to book this property again!

We enjoyed our week at this beautiful Lakehouse. The views and the house were both outstanding. We enjoyed boating and nature along with some fine dining out and in the home. Would recommend this to anyone that loves nature.

We just returned home from our week at the lake, and we had a fantastic time. We have been going to Lake Wallenpaupack for many years, and this house has been our favorite so far (can't lie, the air conditioning really helped!). The house had comfortable beds and all the supplies we could possibly need. The ROKU TV was great for those rainy times. The fire pit on the terrace overlooking the lake was really nice.
Would absolutely consider staying here again.

Enjoyed our stay
Beautiful setting and the lake views from the house were really nice. The inside of the house itself is clean and well kept. Loved the log cabin feel to the interior of the home. Owner was responsive to any questions or concerns that we had. Recommend the rail bike experience in the nearby downtown section of Hawley.

Still on Cloud 9!
This get-a-away was exactly what we needed! We took a long weekend to celebrate our 45th anniversary and the atmosphere of this lake house was beyond great! Fran and Bill take pride in this lake retreat and we can't wait to go back! Our 4 days there we had splendid mid September weather which we thoroughly enjoyed as we went from large back deck to fire pit to (our favorite!) sitting privately on the lake shore waiting for the phenomenal sunset. One of (or possibly the best!) vacation ever! Thank you Fran and Bill!

Good location near shopping, restaurants and other activities. Really enjoyed the fire pit at night. Comfortably slept all 7 of us!

Great Lakehouse
This is in my opinion is exactly what a lakehouse should be. The home is well stocked and the owners were great to work with and very responsive. The house is private but just minutes away from shopping and services.

Perfect Lake House
We loved our stay here! Perfect location to sit on the dock or fire pit area and watching boats go by or the gorgeous sunsets. The view is beautiful. The house is cozy, with the perfect “lake” feel and enough space if rain keeps you inside. The kitchen is well stocked, the owner is great with communication, answering questions and providing all details necessary. Comfy beds too! Thank you!

Great Getaway
The house was cosy, comfortable, nice, neat and clean. Heating worked well and warmed up the house very quickly. Great lake views, quiet and peaceful so just what we needed. We went in early May. . Spectacular sunset view from the house. Walking distance to BoatHouse Restaurant which we found to be great food and pretty reasonable.
Drive down from the house you can park and do a nice hike most of the perimeter of Lake Wallenpaupack. Also driving distance to quite a few waterfalls, wineries and historic small towns. Great place for a nice getaway.

Beautiful lakefront house
Beautiful lake house. My family and I had the most enjoyable experience staying the house. The house itself was extraordinarily: clean, beautifully decorated, and with all amenities.

Winter wonderland
We had a great time staying here. Frances was very communicative and accommodating. The house is right on lake Wallenpaupak. It was beautiful even frozen. It snowed while there and they made sure everything was plowed and the house was very warm. Would highly recommend !!

Wonderful weekend getaway with kids
We had a wonderful weekend here with our kids. We desperately needed a change of scenery and time without distractions and this was great. Property had everything we needed and I appreciated the very clean and well stocked kitchen. Plenty of space for us 4 (a tad smaller than I expected from photos but that happens sometimes when booking online) and beautiful view of the lake. Close to grocery store which is only place I went during our stay. We were just happy to be there! And owners were incredibly nice to work with.
