We spent two weeks in June/July at Namastay and could not have asked for a better vacation. The beachfront location is unbeatable and the house is so comfortable, beautiful, and well-appointed. The house isn't as large as others you'll find along the beach, but it was absolutely perfect for my husband and me, plus my mom and a friend. We prefer the quiet east end of the island, and it felt like we had our own private beach. We spent most of our time either on the beach or on the stunning screened porch, listening to the ocean and watching the surfers, pelicans, and even dolphins. We also enjoyed being within easy walking distance of the nature preserve across from the historic lighthouse. The bedrooms were thoughtfully decorated and the beds were very comfortable. The bathrooms - Jack and Jill style - were lovely, both with giant showers. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need, and the large, airy front room was perfect for a couple of movie nights with a huge sectional. In general, the decor was stylish but also casual and cozy. If you are looking for a gorgeous, peaceful location and a lovely home, you can't beat Namastay. My family and I had a wonderful visit to Namastay on Folly Beach this year It was a joy having a change of scenery, staying in a beautiful beach front home, walking on the beach, and dining at local restaurants with outdoor seating. Namastay was the perfect home for our family. It is comfortable, well equipped (Nespresso machine! Instant Pot!), and has the largest couch that I have ever seen! We really appreciated all the extra touches at Namastay, such as bathrobes, a bottle of sparkling wine, and stickers and masks with the house logo and name. There are plenty of comfortable chairs and lounging areas, both indoors and outdoors. We love the blue hammocks hanging under the house and the large two person chairs on the front deck. The kitchen is small, but well equipped. There is also a natural gas grill on the beach deck. Although there are lots of great dining options on Folly, we had fun shopping at Bert's Market and cooking at Namastay, too. I cannot say enough about the joys of staying in a home that is right on the beach. The view of the ocean and easy access to the beach made us all happy! Namastay was the perfect place for a girls getaway retreat! We had the best time and couldn't have asked for a better home or area! Namastay was further down the beach which we appreciated as traffic was nonexistent. The screened in back porch was our favorite place to be! It seated all of us comfortably and we loved watching the sun set each night with dinner. The front room had a large couch and all of the seats reclined! The reclining "lever" was a round piece between the cushions- We also appreciated that the owner placed cards in each room with instructions on how to use the TVs, espresso machine (Wow! Putting this on my Christmas list now. I didn't know how much I would love a milk frother until I used this all week :)), tidbits about the beach etc. We appreciated the new washer and dryer and the fact that beach towels (for 10 guests) were provided as well. Large showers were a bonus- I have only rented homes with tub showers before and the amount of room in the showers and tile decor was delightful. The lights also dimmed in each room and we were able to use this feature at night. The house has plenty of natural light during the day so we actually never had to touch a switch from sunrise until sunset. Thank you, Namastay, for making our beach vacation so wonderful. Namastay reminds me of the cottages we used to rent on the SC coast when I was growing up, except it is a luxury cottage! I have stayed at Namastay several times over the past two years. I keep returning because I cannot imagine a better place for beauty and relaxation. The house is decorated well. It is aesthetically pleasing AND comfortable. I love the whimsical frog sculpture on the front of the house, the Buddha that greets you on your way up the front stairs, and the magnificent shell collection you see when you walk through the front door. I begin to decompress the moment I see the Namastay's gorgeous ocean "back yard" through the sliding doors. I see beautiful sunrises from the oceanfront bedrooms and breathtaking sunsets from the front deck. I love being able to walk out the back door, down the private boardwalk, and right on to the beach for my daily walks. When I am at Namastay, I rarely want to leave, but when I do venture out, I love the laid back vibe of Folly Beach. The restaurants are top notch (Surf Bar is my favorite) and the proximity to downtown Charleston is great. I rarely venture out that far, but there is a lot to do and great restaurants to choose from when I do manage to drag myself away from Namastay and Folly. I highly recommend vacationing at Folly Beach when it is warm (and busy!) but also during the winter, when it is very quiet. It is wonderful all year round! It is always hard for me to leave Namastay and Folly, but a friend taught me, "You have to leave to come back," and that saying always helps me remember that I will return. I look forward to it!

I have stayed at Namastay multiple times because it is quite simply, "perfect". It doesn't matter if it is summer, winter or fall. Namastay and Folly Beach do not disappoint. As soon as I step onto the deck overlooking the ocean, my worries and stress melt away. It may be my favorite spot to while away the hours. Catching an amazing sunrise (incredible pinks and oranges) or seeing dolphins swim by makes it even more spectacular. On this last trip I kept my bedroom door open and was lulled to sleep by the waves. A luxury I wish I had in my day to day life! Namastay has thought of everything to make the stay enjoyable and comfortable (I loved the robe and that there were enough towels for everyone.) My husband, my mom, and I just returned from our second two-week visit to Namastay, and we feel like a million bucks. The oceanfront location is worth every penny and the home is stylish, comfortable, quiet, and private. I love the way it's nestled behind the dunes. The large screen porch has an incredible ocean view but is totally private. There's nothing better than drinking a morning coffee or evening cocktail on the porch with the ceiling fans and ocean breezes. Two of the bedrooms and much of it the living area have great ocean views as well. It's not as convenient to downtown Folly, but I much prefer the east end of the island because it's more quiet. Some days, we didn't see another person on our stretch of beach! The front of the house has a lovely sun deck and is also very private, but we were too entranced by the ocean to spend much time out there. Parking under the house in the shade is a huge plus too! The house is very well-stocked with every kitchen item you could possibly need. The furnishings are stylish but comfortable. The bathrooms are lovely but the Jack-and-Jill style means you'll want to be sure you're okay sharing. (Just something to consider if you are traveling with others or hosting guests.) MyOceanRental is great to work with and always very responsive throughout the booking process. We didn't have any maintenance issues but I'm sure they would be on top of it if an issue came up. I cannot express how perfect my weekend at Namastay was. From the moment I stepped into this beach house, my worries and stress just melted away. The house is filled with natural sunlight and the the home exudes warmth. The best part for me are the views of the beach. The location right on the beach with its own private walkway is just amazing. I walked up and down the beach for both sunrise and sunset. I fell asleep and awoke to the sound of the ocean waves. The location alone is amazing, but Namastay goes above and beyond with the amenities and thoughtful touches. Home was in great condition and had pretty much everything we needed. Beautiful sunrises each morning, weather and water temp were perfect, sand toys for the kids. Only minor suggestions would be to add wardrobes to be able to hang clothes up and add beach chairs and beach umbrella. Other than that, was pretty much a perfect stay. A lovely property offering flexibility for our three generation gathering. Three areas for games, tv, reading, conversation, as well as tables both inside and outside on the screened porch.. My family and I vacation on Folly Beach every summer. This house was one of the best we have ever stayed in. The check in / check out process was efficient and organized, the kitchen was well equipped, the house was very clean and there were very thoughtful touches throughout the house. The AC worked well as did the grill. There isn’t anything negative we can say about this house. We will definitely stay at Namastay again!

This house was PERFECT! It had great energy, everything you could need, and nothing you couldn’t. The location was perfect for us. We can’t wait to Namastay here again!!!

We stay at folly every year and this year was no exception. The house was well situated with the 4 bedrooms on each corner. Wonderful space through out including a great front room with the main TV away from the other sitting areas. Good spot to stay right on the water

We had a delightful time at this house. Perfect for two couples with kids. One of the most well-appointed properties I’ve ever rented - plenty of towels, robes, soaps, cleaning products, coffee, spices, etc. Perfect layout, comfy beds, good-sized bathrooms/showers, amazing screened-in porch facing the ocean, and fabulous beach: Truly a delightful property. I hope to stay here again next year!

The home was perfect for our family members to gather, some flew to Charleston and others drove. Our six adults and five children fit perfectly and enjoyed our time together!

The house is beautiful and the location perfect for a holiday beach vacation. We enjoyed the views of the water from the back porch and were just steps from the water. The decor is fun. The kitchen has every needed gadget for great home cooked meals.

We had a great time during our trip to Namastay! The house is cozy, but comfortable, and definitely makes the most of its small footprint. The location is amazing. Opening the curtains and watching the surfers from our bedroom window was a highlight of the trip!

We had a nice stay on the beach with our family! There were plenty of towels and linens, though it was tight for 10 people as there are no closets to put luggage. Otherwise the house is lovely and it was great to have a nice little spot on the beach!
