Nice house, nothing fancy but great for kids. Quiet street, nice neighborhood. Town is 10-15 minutes away. Amber was a very generous host with great communication.

The house was perfect for a family reunion. There was plenty of sleeping accommodations as well as general areas to get together to socialize, eat and play games. The kitchen was perfect for preparing meals for our group of 20. The house is situated in a country setting with a large yard for kids to play in. Amber, the host was terrific to work with and ensured we had everything we needed. We are considering an annual visit to their VRBO with our family.

Our group of 8 (4 couples) thoroughly enjoyed Ambers house. Some good laughs and conversation around large kitchen table. Everything’s was clean and spacious enough for our group. We looked forward to getting back to the warm house after our daily travels up the River and around Lacrosse. Amber even stopped at house before our first night arrival to make us ice cubes for our cocktails ! Highly recommend this house !

We are 8 friends who met 45 years ago. Each year we choose a different city to visit in the fall for a few days and this year we chose LaCrosse. This home is on a lovely piece of land. It has a well-stocked kitchen and a large table for eating and playing games. The home was very clean and the beds in the four bedrooms were quite comfortable. There is also a great deck off the back.

Host goes above and beyond for her guests. Great stay and house fit ours needs perfectly. Would stay again.

This property was a perfect fit for our team while we were there for the World Finals High School Bass Fishing Tournament. We had 10 people in our group and this house fit every single one of us comfortably. Our host was great to work with. I will be recommending this property to others who go to LaX for other fishing tournaments and hopefully on our team's return in the future.

We took a long weekend to see the area and the house was great for the eight of us (4 adults and four kids under 5). No problems.

We stayed here while we did some fishing on the Mississippi River. The house was great and was able to accommodate all 8 of us. The house was clean and the accommodations were great (showers, kitchen, bedrooms, bqq grill). The house had a smart tv both up and down stairs which was nice so that my parents could basically live upstairs without having to navigate steps (we also dropped them off at the front door each time which was nice). The neighborhood is secluded yet very close to town and walmart. For our basic needs, the house overachieved. The host was very attentive and nice. Our kids broke one of their soap dispensers, and I notified her, and she was kind and understanding in her response. We would recommend this house to anyone needing a place to enjoy family as they stay in and around la crosse. We also saw two deer during our stay.

This property is away from the hustle and bustle up on a hill. The views were amazing from the deck. The house was very clean and smelled fresh. They have thought of everything you will need for the kitchen to be able to cook and grill. They even have a great selection of board games that my friends and I played quite a bit in the evenings. I have a bad back and the beds were very comfortable. I would stay here again.

We stayed at the property as my son had a school competition in downtown La Crosse and we wanted to make a family vacation of the trip and my sister’s family joined us. The host was very flexible with our arrival and departure, which was great. I know she didn’t have to be especially during more peak travel times, so we really appreciated it. She provided a pack n play for our two year old as well as a booster high chair, which was so nice not to have to pack. She went way above and beyond and provided games and toys for the kids to play with during the stay which was a huge hit with the kids (ages 2-11). The kitchen was well equipped and great for preparing meals. We ate in instead of eating out mostly due to our food allergies, but there were a lot of restaurants within a 10-15 min drive if we had wanted to eat out. The Walmart nearby was convenient and we had groceries delivered to the house after we arrived so that we wouldn’t have to pack groceries on the way up. Our kids loved the nearby children’s museum which turned out to be free since we had a reciprocal membership to a science museum in Chicago. We hope to return when it is a bit warmer to take advantage of some of the nature hikes and river cruises around La Crosse. I’ve stayed at other rental properties that have been more hassle than they are worth, but the host made this property very convenient and stress-free to rent.

This rental is cozy and well-equipped. The owner is extremely kind and accommodating… even providing specific toys for the ages of my 3 kids. We enjoyed how close it was to the convenience of Lacrosse, yet out just enough to enjoy nature and a view of the bluffs. Would definitely stay again!

The rain really didn't allow us to appreciate the views BUT they are great. Sleeping was good. They had a pile of games that helped us through our rainy day. Spices and olive oils were already there which is really helpful for cooking. Spent most of our time playing around the dining room table but there is a great downstairs if you wanted to divide up or just change things up.

The space was comfortable and clean. It was well appointed with all items we needed. The guest information book had wonderful suggestions for enjoying the area. We came to the area to enjoy hiking Wildcat Mountain And Perrot State Parks as well as kayaking the Kickapoo and biking the Great River Trail. The home was a very nice, quiet and scenic place to relax. Amber was wonderful to work with, checked in to ask if we had what we needed or had questions. She even brought us a tea kettle she bought for the kitchen. Thanks for an excellent experience!!

Hotels do not work for large family but this house was perfect! Very clean and well kept house and property on a quiet road with little traffic was really nice. Our host went above and beyond by offering and providing a high chair and a pack and play for our almost 2 year old. It was great not having to bring those items along! She also had games and coloring books for our family. Multiple beds in 2 bedrooms made it nice so the kids could have there own beds. Overall a great experience in the lacrosse area for a late summer getaway!

Everything was perfect! Location was close to the Shrine of Our Lady of Guadalupe, nice rural neighborhood with a balcony in the backyard, lots of room and sleeping areas. All of the amenities of home, especially because we like to cook our own meals!
