Lovely property that feels very much like home right away. Met all our expectations and is our 2nd time staying there. We’re already booked for next year. Absolutely ideal place to invite family and friends to visit, or stay a night or two. Spent most of our time on the porch laughing and enjoying the view.

Our children are adults now but they have not lost their love of the beach. This location is amazing. The porch allows for any time bonding, games and just hanging out. The 0.6 walk to short sands or the Nubble is a bonus. We are appreciative of all of the thoughtful extras that the host has available, such as a fully equipt kitchen, extra beach chairs and toys, bed sheets and towels for bath and beach. Really easy check in and check out. You won't be disappointed.

The host replied to all my messages quickly. The house has great location, can see the ocean from the porch. Went with family and one dog, had a great time! House is equipped with all you need - towels, beach chairs, utensils etc. Has three showers and plenty of beds for a bigger group. Definitely recommend!

My family had an amazing family getaway at this property. There was truly nothing lacking. We had 7 adults, one infant, and our pups. It was spacious, well kept, fully equipped with everything we could possibly need. The enclosed porch was a real selling feature for us keeping the dogs contained and safe yet outside, not to mention the outstanding ocean view. Sitting by the fire enjoying the view and peaceful setting was a wonderful way to end the night.
Deidra, the host, was phenomenal! She was gracious, informative, and accommodating with every request and responded so promptly. I highly recommend this property with no reservations. Thank you for allowing us to share your special coastal home and build cherished family memories.

Lovely property with 4 bedrooms upstairs and master suite on the first floor. Their is a nice size solo stove fire pit with chairs and plenty of firewood great porches either open air or closed in there is also a rollaway and extra bed on the sun porch

This was a wonderful weekend away. We very much enjoyed waking up to ocean views and walking the dogs along the ocean. Our grandson invited a friend who had never been to the ocean. It was wonderful to see his excitement at all the firsts he was able to enjoy.

Excellent house! Loved our stay & definately will stay again. Fabulous view, plenty of room. Needs a few more pots, garbage bags & lighter/matches for the fire pit outside. Other than that, enjoyed our 5 night stay!

We had a fabulous time. The house is well appointed with all the essentials including AC. The host has all you need to fill your days at the beach as well as quiet days at the house with games and activities. The porch was the local place every day where our family got together and the fire pit was where we spent late nights together. It was perfect!!!

This home is a wonderful place to stay, hang out on the porch and catch up on reading, or venture out to some fabulous restaurants. I love that this place has an ocean view AND allows our pups to join us. And the air conditioning was a great bonus surprise and very much appreciated in the 80-90 degree weather. The owners are very accommodating. Loved returning here and look forward to coming back next year.

The description and reviews were spot on. This is our new annual vacation location to create memories for our kids and grandkids. So happy we found this place. Deidre is a pleasure to deal with. Will be staying again for sure.

My husband and I go and either our kids will come for the whole time or a long weekend. This house being pet friendly is wonderful ffor us. I love it . Have been going up to York for years and have been renting for about 15 years. Deidre is great always gets right back to u with any concerns or just questions.

Our vacation consisted of 6 adults and 4 grand hildren...ages 4,5,6,7. This is the 4th year we have rented the "Yellow House" (our grandchildren named that and has stuck with all of us. We had a wonderful time. Diedre is a great host. The house has been always neat, clean and kept up including the landscaping. She is also very responsible to any issues. We called about a cracked leg on the bunk bed...Diedre called back and said she was replacing the bed...5hrs later a new bed was installed and the old bed removed!! We are renting the Yellow House again next year.

We had a great time in York. We were there for a local college graduation and the house was plenty big for our three families. We enjoyed a lobster dinner on the front porch, overlooking short sands beach! What can be better. Thanks for a fabulous stay!

Great house. Ocean view is lovely. House is warm and cozy but plenty of room to spread out. Kitchen was welll stocked with cooking tools, dishes, cups, glasses and cookware. Beds were comfy and sheets soft and luxurious. Will definitely stay again!

Property was exactly as advertised and perfect for our group of five friends to get together. Plenty of seating in the living room. All kitchen basics were there. Beds were comfortable and having 2 1/2 baths was great.

Fantastic location, tons of room, very comfortable, and host Deidre was incredibly responsive. The yard was great for us (and the dogs!), the porches are awesome, numerous amenities, new cards and games, plenty of quality glasses, cups, mugs, plates, utensils, and some very nice Caphalon pots and pans in the mix. Giant dog crate was very useful as well. Can’t wait to stay here again!

Convenient walk to Short Sands. Kitchen well supplied with pots/pans and appliances we needed. Helpful to have a bedroom suite on main floor. Host very responsive to questions before our stay as well as during our long weekend there. Would definitely stay here again!

Our group loved this home. It was so great to be able to bring our dogs, walk to the beach and the lighthouse. When there was an issue with the heat - which can happen anywhere/anytime - the response was super quick and everything was fixed ASAP. We would gladly come back here and really appreciate being able to enjoy each other in this beautiful spot.

We stayed here for two nights at the end of October. The home was just wonderful. Immaculately clean, checking in was a breeze and communication was quick and easy. The space was wonderful decorated and sooo comfortable and cozy. Amazing views and convenient walk to the beach and short walk to the lighthouse. So much space inside and out with plenty of parking. Great view from every room in the house. Kitchen was fully stocked with anything you’d need to cook. By far the best place I have stayed. Can’t say enough good things about this home. Wo give it 10 stars if I could.

My entire family stayed at this property for 4 nights and it was one of the best family trips ever. The house is big and has amazing views of the ocean. A short walk to short sands beach and the park, restaurants and shops for all ages. Deidre our host was so fantastic on getting right back to us on questions and was very helpful as well on recommendations. We'll be back

This is the first time we've stayed at this rental and we definitely will be back. It is a beautiful home in the very best location nestled between Long and Short Sands and a stone's throw from Nubble Light. It was amazingly clean. The 1st floor master bedroom and bathroom was large. I loved the slider in the bedroom and that you could see and hear the ocean. The owners are very kind and attentive and ready to please. We have four corgi's and were thrilled that we were able to bring them along. In fact, the owners have a wonderful gate for the porch steps so the pups can get lots of fresh air but stay safe and away from the street. It was a wonderful stay!

This was a beautiful area with a great view of the ocean. The house was super clean and we wanted for nothing. The owner was very helpful getting us an early check in. Overall 100% recommend the house with friends or family.

The house was even better than described by the owners. Lots of room for a large crowd, plenty of light, and an ambience of warmth and cosiness that made us feel at home as soon as we arrived.
Seemed a bit far from the beach and the village at first but we got acostumed to the walk very easily. More calm than expected in front ot Ocean dr.

Perfect spot.
The house accommodated our group perfectly. We enjoyed a warm Thanksgiving morning on the front porch and took a couple of walks to Short Sands Beach to bring our grandchildren to the playground.

Wonderful weekend break
Beautiful home in a great location. Property owner was quick to reply to questions. Only reason for the 4 star overall review was the kitchen supplies as others have mentioned. I brought a saute pan with me based on others reviews, but did not anticipate the poor condition of sheet pans at the home or the lack of an oversized pot for lobsters (usually a staple in coastal homes). This did not detract from the enjoyment of the weekend, but I would anticipate this being a problem for a week long stay. Overall a truly lovely home that we wish we had more time in. Would definitely rent again.
