Everything was great
We enjoyed using the kayaks and fishing
The gas fire pit. The whole property was peaceful and beautiful.

The house was spacious with plenty of room and beds for all. A nice open feel in the layout of the house. The kitchen was well stocked and I loved the extra frig in the laundry room. We enjoyed the deck with the fire pit and seating. We had some wild turkeys and barred owls visit the property. The house is about 15 minutes from town to grab groceries and to visit the splash pad with the grandkids. We made trips to Nashville and Evansville a few times. Evansville has the best pool, "Norman "Red" Mosby". It was the best $2 I ever spent. We also visited the zoo, escape room, golf course, casino, and Mickey's Kingdom Park. A guest book would be nice so that people could sign and tell what interesting things they did on their visit. All in all, a very relaxing and enjoyable time.

Beautiful clean property with everything needed for a remote getaway.

Nice and private. The house is huge and we felt child friendly. There are children play items available that definitely occupied my 3 year old grandson. The pond is beautiful. We kayaked and fished every day. Caught and released many fish and not just small ones. My grandson caught his first bass. It’s a short trek to the pond but glad we brought a wagon to carry needed items there. We wish it hadn’t been so hot so we could have spend more time enjoying the outside seating area. The kitchen has all needed cooking necessities. A wonderful place for family time.

Every year me and a bunch of buddies meet up and enjoy a weekend of fishing and laughs. We have done this for about 7 years now and this place has become the best. The host are great and respond quickly, the property was very well furnished and clean. The fishing was great in the kayaks. We all had a great time and will for sure be returning in the future. The atmosphere around is very well calming as well we loved it.

It was a wonderful home for our family Thanksgiving. Beautiful cabin and the location was amazing.
The home had a lot of ladybugs that we had to deal with. The washer and dryer were not available for us to use, and the coffee pot had not been cleaned in some time. These are all small things but wanted to ensure they were know so they could be addressed. Additionally, there are only 5 private bedrooms. The 6th is a pullout in a common area.

Serene Get Away to Celebrate Our Parents 50th Wedding Anniversary!
The cabin is serenely tucked away on well manicured, lush green land. It is simply beautiful. The cabin was both elegant and rustic. The energy of the place felt welcoming. Our party of 13 ranging in ages 1-71 easily made ourselves at home. With an active toddler in tow I especially appreciated the play room and toys!
The cabin was well stocked with kitchen necessities. We had plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms.

Beautiful Home, Majestic Views
Absolutely beautiful property combined with majestic views and serenity for our annual family get-together. Our family thoroughly enjoyed our time together. The adults appreciated the added conveniences of all the amenities, including household cleaners, toiletries, etc. so we didn't have to run to town for all of these items. The owners were very responsive and helpful. Our enjoyment was further enhanced by the W.C. Handy Blues festival and delicious downtown dining options. Thanks for sharing your home with our family.

Peaceful country vacation!
Beautiful, secluded log cabin on a lake in the country. Everything we needed for our stay here was provided for and the owners were so accommodating. The beds were comfy and the kitchen was fully stocked with anything you needed to cook with. It was so peaceful and quiet with a beautiful sunset over the lake. We would definitely stay here again!

Fabulous quiet weekend getaway!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! Gorgeous property with lots of privacy and places to roam and relax. We rented 2 kayaks from the owners and had the lake all to ourselves. Best stocked kitchen we’ve EVER had in any rental and that was much appreciated! Plenty of towels and linens. We’ll definitely be back in the future!

Our wedding was a success. The house really felt like a home, not a rental. The kitchen was well equipped with pots and pans, silverware, etc. The home is well decorated and gives you the country charm. The WiFi was good for the kids. The deck was huge and has a view of the lake. There’s a large gas grill and gas fire pit on the deck and a fire pit in the side yard, stocked with plenty of wood. We simply loved the place. It will be a memory to last a lifetime.

Great weekend
This is a terrific getaway for the weekend. All bedrooms and baths are upstairs with a family room in the middle. Kitchen,fireplace, and another family room downstairs. We spent a lot of time in the hammock and swing. Nice fire pit too. Lake is pretty but swampy. Overall the grounds and house are great.
