Great place

Great week at the lake!

This was a great home, that was accurately described on the listing. The kitchen was well stocked. There were even Keurig coffee pods and ground coffee for our use! The open floor plan with a view of the lake was perfect for entertaining our family. The beds were all very comfortable. Daniel was an excellent host and very responsive. We'd definitely stay here again.

We loved the location of this house so close to the marina. We rented a pontoon and we were able to pull right up to the dock and keep it overnight. Plenty of space for everyone!

This was our second stay and enjoyed it very much. Boat ramp is very close and the dock is great to have. The house has everything you need!

Nice weekend get away with access to the water. Neighbors were very kind and welcoming.

Property a little dated but it fitted our needs. Home was clean and very private. Most of the golf courses and restaurants were within 30 minutes. We didn’t need the dock but it looked really nice if we bring a boat next time. The neighbor invited us to the neighborhood Kentucky Derby party. We were sorry that we had to leave early on Derby day.

We all enjoyed staying at this property that we would not hesitate to return!

Perfect location for boating, skiing and fishing. House is spacious and served our needs. An issue popped up but the owners were quick to reply and worked to resolve - the best! Some of the beds need new mattresses but did not impact our stay. We will definitely stay again.

My family and I sincerely enjoyed our trip to Kentucky for our family vacation. The home was spacious and allowed plenty of room our two dogs, 5 children and my sister and BIL to all stay comfortably. The only two draw backs about the house I would say is that there is some delayed maintenance. I spoke with the owner about it and he just purchased the property the previous fall. He is working out some of those issues once he finds a handyman. The second is the road, driveway and dock are not really boat friendly. Meaning, we have a 28’ boat and we could not get it in the driveway safely or turn it around. The driveway has a slope of 9 degrees all the way up to 19 degrees. Very difficult to have a boat and trailer on this street. We had to back up all the way the street to the steep exit to the main road in order to get out of the area. Info such as do not bring boats to the house would be most helpful. Once we dropped the boat in the water we were able to bring the empty trailer back to the house and park in the designated grassy area. As the pictures do not show the slope to the house, or of the road and driveway. Also, the boat dock is shared with the neighbors on the street. The covered boat slips are the neighbors and the far right one is assigned to this home. The draft on our boat was too deep to use the dock to tie up. We ended up renting a covered slip at the marina for our stay. Overall we were satisfied with the home but will look closer at details when it comes to docks, roads and driveways the next time we rent a home on the lake.

Great time with the family, boat rentals were easy, great Mexican restaurant in town. This house was made for an active family, well stocked with everything you might need.

Easy process

We had a wonderful time! The house was spacious for our group of 9 including kids and adults. The yard and lake were beautiful and the owners were very responsive to any questions we had. The kids are already asking when we can go back!

Good view of Lake, but in the evening need shades on that side of house to block the heat from the sun gets warm inside of house. other then that it was great. plenty of room there was 6 of us and room for more. kitchen utensils for cooking and BBQ's. It was real nice. Thank you Daniel Joseph

Clean, comfortable and convenient for fun in the sun on Lake Barkley! The host was very nice and quick to respond when we had questions. Our friends agreed, the rental was very spacious and had everything we needed. Highly recommend this VRBO if you enjoy boating on Barkley.

Wonderful property on Lake Barkley. We enjoyed our stay and hope to come back again in the future.

It’s a little dated but that didn’t really bother us. There are tons of places to gather with family. Lots of seating and table space. The kitchen is well stocked and we had everything we needed for cooking. Also has a very nice grill and brand new oven. Incredible access to the water and it is a very clean slough. If I had a negative, it was that the mattresses need to be replaced on most of the beds and so they were a bit uncomfortable. You may want to bring a memory foam or eggshell for the bed. Still giving it a good review because my family has a great stay and we would rent this property again.

We enjoyed watching the migrating pelicans and the dance they performed daily. The deck is very lovely and all the windows in the back give you a great view of the outdoors. The new owners of the property were responsive. I am giving 4 stars as there were a couple of items needing some repair and review (nothing too significant) that I am sure the new owners will handle in short order.
