The rental is very close to the Summit East Ski Area and the Palouse to Cascades State Park Trail (which was why we chose this house). It had open, spacious living areas and many options for sleeping, great water pressure in the shower too. This area is great for seeing local wildlife- there was a mule deer that kept hanging out by the road, it was fun to watch! The area also has so much to offer in terms of activities- it is close to mountains for hiking and biking and not far from the beautiful Snoqualmie Falls, as well as the Snoqualmie Tunnel. Lots for travelers to do and see!

Everything was great, just a few notes- The location was a little remote, it took 20 mins to get to the nearest grocery store, but this wasn't really a problem. There were convenient stores nearby but they had limited selections and it was more expensive, so we chose to drive a little further. The rental was very close to I-90 and you can hear the traffic noise while trying to sleep (a pair of earplugs remedied this). The rental also didn't have wifi, so just note when booking.

Spacious and clean

We loved the cabin and amenities, location was right off the highway and so easy to get to! There is a sledding park less than a mile from the house for safe sledding. The stereo and pool table were a absolute hit for my kiddos. Bathrooms were super clean, sheets were clean!! I accidentally broke a glass getting it out of the dishwasher and was met with the best customer service when I called to report it.

For as much as it cost and non refundable cleaning fees I was kinda irritated. There was food in the chair in the living room, the bed spreads have seen better days and smelt badly of body odor. The couches were very smelly so we covered with sheets. There was spilled drinks and crumbs all over the night stands, the carpets were not clean. Light switches were dirty and sticky, coffee table and tv stand and speakers had cup rings and sticky which tells me it wasn’t cleaned. We actually tried to vacuum ourselves and realized the vacuum was so clogged it took us well over a hour to get it working again just so we could clean on our first night there so it was clean for my kids to be on the floor. For covid season it was a little off putting to pay such a high amount for a non refundable cleaning deposit to come in and clean ourselves. There is a rodent problem, mice in the cupboards on dishes, getting into our food and clothes, not afraid of us at all, lives under The loveseat and stairs. Liked to poop in the tub at night and gets into coffee. You are asked to put a load of laundry in when you leave (we are totally ok with this and actually did all the linens we used to help the staff out!!) but there was no laundry soap to do so. We ended up using our own soap so I hope no one is allergic to scented soap. We would love to come back in the future but would really like to see the cleaning be better. We have no problem cleaning after ourselves at all but I can guarantee it was left cleaner then when we arrived.
