Place was great, it truly has something for everybody, the kids never got bored with all the games, arcades and basketball court. I was impressed at how well equipped the place is, when it says it is for 30 people, they really mean it, this means there is enough of everything for 30 people, from pans, plates, glasses, cups, etc. We loved the place and we would definitely recommend it and will probably come back.

Spacious, clean, and so much to do for all age groups! It was a very peaceful location as well. Would stay again! 😊

Great space for a large group work retreat plenty of areas for entertaining together or separately

We came with 4 other families with teenagers. It is a great house for this age group; the kids loved having the upstairs game room all to themselves. The master bedroom is the closest room to that large room with bunks, but that’s the luck of the draw. It was a bit noisy but we blame the teenagers, obviously. We will certainly be back next summer!

Very disappointed in bunk room on main floor. No privacy with the stairs and open to the upstairs. It was a hallway.

We all enjoyed our stay at Highlander Lodge. We ranged in age from 2 to 91 and there was something for everyone. We appreciated a fully equipped kitchen, 2 gas bbqs, toys and high chairs and beds for the kids. The game room was thoroughly enjoyed as was the hot tub. Plenty of parking, too.

We are a large multigenerational family that gathers every summer to reconnect. As the "kids" get older, it's nice to have a lot of things to do under one roof. The game rooms were a lot of fun as was the large flat area between the house and the creek. The fire pit area by the creek was pleasant. There was plenty of parking for all of the various rigs too.

This home is everything it advertises and more. The kitchen is large and incredibly well stocked. The amenities just don't stop - board games, video games, table games, entertainment galore! The spaces within the home are fun, unique and well separated for quiet time and privacy, but there's plenty of room for gathering and group fun, as well. It was cold and snowing when we were there, so we didn't take advantage of the outside spaces, but they looked equally inviting. The fireplace and radiant floor heating kept us cozy warm, though. With all the windows in the soaring living space, we felt as though we were inside a huge snow globe. It was a magical experience and we will definitely be back!

The basketball gym to board games to the heated floors. Wow! We were able to fit our food for the whole stay here. There's three fridges and two fully stocked kitchens, which helped for our large group. Enough space for our children and adults to have fun either together or in their own area of the place. It was very easy to find, not far from the freeway but not too close to it either cause we slept easily with no noise problems. The houses nearby are closer than I expected but it was totally fine with us, still had great time with privacy. The picture don't do this place justice, it's way better in person. There's a small creek in the back so we made sure there were two or three adults outside while kids were playing. We came at the end of January and not much snow during this time. We managed to find places farther out but keep that in mind if anyone wants to come during this time of the year.

So much room for our large family to spread out, have their own private room retreat, but also hang out together in the great room. Our littles loved the gym, which was used for a dance party, basketball court and was a nice safe place for our new little walkers to master their skills. The ample kitchen allowed for several people to prep and cook meals. The large dining area worked perfectly for meals, games and puzzles. The playroom just off the dining room was great for the kids. They slept in the bunk beds while the parents played games, so nice to be within an ear shot of them while we had some adult fun! If you want a memorable family getaway, look no more!

We had a great time. Check in was easy. Full kitchen with lots of dishes was nice for our large group. We took full advantage of the basketball court/ game room/ and bonus garage game room. All the kids said it was awesome. The location was great in a quiet neighborhood.

We really enjoyed this large, it is very large and spacious. And the 2 game rooms are very nice. We would gladly stay in this home again.

Well supplied house, recently renovated, great layout for large groups, plenty to do

We celebrated our 50th anniversary at the Highlander Lodge and it was absolutely perfect for our needs. Our four adult children and their families joined us and there was so much to do in the house that nobody wanted to leave. We did some short hikes in the area and had just a wonderful time there. There were plenty of private spaces with lots of room to spread out, and ideal gathering spaces as well. Just the perfect spot for us!

This well stocked house was amazing and has everything you need for a fantastic trip. The basketball court was a huge hit with the kids, as was the poker table for the adults. The neighbouring area is beautiful, and we enjoyed the nearby lake as well. We will be back!

There is so much to do in and outside, that out of 5 days, we only left for one day to go cliff jumping. The home is beautiful and the layout gave us several wings of living space, and our family meeting areas for dining and evening activities were large enough for our big group. The reason I gave the cleaning a 4 star, was that during hide and seek games we noticed a few dust balls and some Cheerios under a couple couches, but the rest of the home was well maintained. We loved our stay at the Highlander Lodge and all our children and grandchildren want to return next year!
