The house is so comfortable and clean that we preferred to stay in nearly every night versus going out for food or entertainment. The walk to the beach is just about 10 minutes and the entire property is very well-maintained. Communication was top notch.

The house perfect for two family with five young children 6-2 years old. We enjoyed the pool and the beach daily. Plenty of space for all us to spread out or snuggle up on the downstairs or upstairs levels. Kitchen was fully stocked, we cooked or grilled most meals at the house for the week. Lisa was very great at communicating, check in and check out were easy and seamless.

The house was well decorated and tastefully appointed throughout. It is very nice home and everything was new and the photos are as advertised. Our family of five enjoyed everyone having a separate bedroom and bathroom with a large dining space for family dinners. There are many balconies and outdoor spaces to relax, not to mention the hot tub, pool, and tiki hut. We enjoyed the beach a short walk away and the stores and dining options nearby in Corolla. Lisa was a tremendous host answering questions and providing recommendations. It was a week that we enjoyed and would recommend to all.

We enjoyed our stay. The Ryan’s were extremely responsive and you can tell there was a lot of time and thought put into their property. This stay has encouraged us to come back to the OBX. It was the perfect place for some R&R!!

This house is beautifully appointed, inside and out. Weather didn’t cooperate during our stay but the heated pool and hot tub saved the day. The location was convenient to the beach and Corolla’s attractions. Most importantly, host Lisa was very responsive to any questions and we truly felt like honored guests — not just anonymous weekly renters.

The house was amazing! Everyone loved the pool and especially the hot tub. The rooms were spacious, the social areas were so cozy and well lit. A few of us sat outside on the top floor patio and watched shooting stars. The short walk to the beach was very convenient. We will definitely be back.

Rented this property for a ladies weekend. The layout upstairs was wonderful and great for a large group. Fantastic furniture and decor throughout the home made made the trip feel like a true getaway. The beds are very comfortable and views from all rooms beautiful. The extra fridge downstairs was great to have and would be awesome in the summer for bbqs. So sad we were here out of season and couldn’t use the pool but loved being able to see it lit up at night and we were still able to use the tiki hut area. Noticed the home came with a ton of beach stuff for in season visitors. The neighborhood is beautiful and safe and great for walking. Enjoyed seeing the deer in evenings. The kitchen was stocked with every appliance one could need. You can tell the owners have put a lot of thought and love into this home to make it enjoyable for everyone. It would be fantastic for families but I think the amount of stairs would be hard for elderly. The owner is very responsive and extremely helpful. Not sure I have ever received a more well put together informational booklet on a home- very much appreciated. We hope to return to this home again!

What a beautiful, comfortable home away from home at the beach. This is our second time staying here and we enjoyed it just as much as the first. Beds are super comfy and kitchen is equipped with everything you need. Beach is a short walk away. Highly recommend this property!

Worth every minute! Absolute beautiful vacation stay. Top notch interior design and immaculate condition. Love the private pool and hot tub as well as the beautiful walk to the beach. House was excellent. Very clean with all the amenities my family needed during our stay for the week. Pool and hot tub were great for days we just stayed around the house. There was lots of seating outside which was nice when we were all there. Also lots of places to eat nearby which made it easy to go out for meals. Definitely recommend this house when staying in the Outer Banks.

We had a great vacation and stay at Marine Life OBX! The communication with Lisa, the owner, was fantastic. The house was very clean and suited all of our needs. The outdoor area was a great set up--- We spent a lot of time outside at the pool and tiki bar and were able to play corn hole in the back of the yard. Overall, we loved the house and would definitely rent Marine Life again.

Our family (4 couples) had an amazing time staying in this home! It was beautiful, well-equipped and super clean. We loved the 5 minute walk to the beach, the pingpong table and the pool area (even though the pool was on the smaller side). The owner, Lisa, was friendly and accommodating with her quick responses and her lovely brochure! Would definitely stay here again.

We had a lovely stay @ Marine Life OBX. The home was immaculate and nestled in a quiet community. Communication w the owner was seamless. Our kids had a wonderful time in the pool & at the nearby beach and park. We can’t wait to book our next visit!

The best in obx! Super clean top of the line everything. Hosts are awesome. Warning if you stay here it will be come your favorite place and any other place you rent will be a bit of a disappointment.

We went to OBX as a family celebration for my birthday and it was just perfect!! The home is very beautiful! It is new construction and a “smart” home. There was no detail overlooked here!! It is beautifully decorated and well appointed with comfortable beds/couches and an incredible cook’s kitchen with every appliance and gadget you could ever need. The outside living area had everything you could want- pool, hot tub, tiki bar, tv, shower, lounging chairs… The location itself was perfect! Very close to the beach, tucked back off the main road and the neighborhood was nice and quiet . The host, Lisa, was also just a pleasure!! She is very responsive, so kind and truly a great host!! I would highly recommend this home/host!! We will be back!!

The owners are great people with an amazing model. They have a great, clean home that is very comfortable and relaxing. They were also very responsive to the questions we had and resolved the minor issues very quickly. We will stay here again!

Well-equipped, beautiful house. Small, but very nice heated pool. A nice 15 minute walk to the beach. Close to downtown Corolla.

Our stay here was perfect! The house is beautiful, clean, and had everything we needed. The backyard was our favorite part. We had an infant with us, so the heated pool, hottub, and tiki bar were convenient and fun to use. We had a great time, and planning on booking again next summer.

This was our first time to the Outter Banks. Typically we stay in Myrtle Beach abs wanted to try somewhere different. This is further north and so was a closer drive which was nice. The property and area were beautiful! The house was decorated beautifully and clean. The style of the home and all the little extras stood out. We used the shuffleboard a ton! The pool was a little small but perfect shape and style for the 3 young kids. The nearby beach was stunning and a short walk away. The only thing we missed was staying close enough to the beach to sit outside and hear the ocean.

My family and I spent 2 weeks at Marine Life OBX, and the house and location were perfect! We had enough time to fully enjoy and explore Carolla, plus visit other OBX towns like Carova, Duck, Kill Devil Hills, Nags Head, and Manteo. We took in some history, some sun, hiking, shopping, dining, and just plain old relaxing. Lisa was a superb hostess and communication from start to finish was excellent!

We had a lovely stay to celebrate a 50th anniversary. The house is beautiful and has so many wonderful amenities. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you’d need to cook a meal. The beds were very comfortable. The pool was great as well as the hot tub. The beach is about a 10 minute walk or you can drive to many different beaches within a few minutes. Lisa was wonderful to work with and very responsive to any questions we had. I’d highly recommend this property.

House was beautiful. There was 10 of us, and we had plenty of room to spread out. My kids loved the pool and shuffle board table and we had family tournaments several nights. Beds were super comfy and linens were great as well. House had everything you could possibly need and we took full advantage of the provided beach chairs, too. Lisa was super fast to respond and the house was super clean! Fat crabs was a family favorite for a restaurant destination.

We had a fabulous time at Lisa and Sean’s beautiful Home. Marine life OBX is everything described and more... it’s modern and comfortable with plenty of room for all ages to enjoy and still have private space or time if needed. Close to so much with a private pool and yard- we thoroughly enjoyed our time. Kitchen and dining area were great to share meals and an OBX seafood boil feast. The 4x4 beach is close by as is any other amenity. Our week was too short!! Hope to come back again next year! Thank you for sharing your home with us and giving us lifetime memories!!

Our one week stay at Monterey Shores can be summed up in one word; AMAZING! Our family truly enjoyed every aspect of the experience. The house was amazing and everyone loved the pool and hot tub. We could not of asked for a better experience or communication from the owner. We rate it an A+ experience!!!!
