Visiting BHI with family since mid 90’s, I wanted my two young grandkids to experience BHI. Choosing Turtle Territory was perfect for our family. The location was ideal and the home had everything we needed for our stay. I recommend this rental to anyone looking for comfort and convenience. I will definitely choose the property for future BHI visits. And Kathy is a great host!

This house is just lovely! Everything is well laid out, they have everything you need and the views can’t be beat! The house gives off such a warm, welcoming feeling. I would definitely recommend and we all decided we want to stay here again!

We thoroughly enjoyed staying at this house. It was clean, in a great location, provided ample room for our group of 6 and it had a great view. It's centrally located on the island so the activities at the marina weren't far away and neither were the activities by the conservancy.

The property was great especially being right across from the beach! We really enjoyed the ping pong table and basketball hoop and having 3 golf carts to use was so convenient. Kitchen was very well stocked as well. Thank you for a great weekend!

We truly enjoyed the house for our week long vacation. The house has a great open floor plan with an awesome deck overlooking the dunes. We used the golf carts and bikes and both were in very good shape. The house is very comfortable and the pictures online represent the property well. We would definitely stay there again.

Excellent property. Good beach access and close to Bald Head Club. House is we annoited, carts were well serviced and had weather drapes . All expected appliances were available

We stayed at this house for a few nights - it was the first time at BHI for many of us - and we had a wonderful time! The location was perfect, the house was well equipped, and communication was easy. We are hoping to return again next year!

Great location, nice house. Everything was easy. Awesome to have three golf carts and plenty of beach accessories.

The house was beautiful and had ample rooms and beds! The location is right by the beach and a super short ride to the store, restaurants, and the dock!

This was my favorite house rental on BHI. The kitchen is awesome. There are wonderful views in all rooms of the dunes. Loved the ice maker in the bar area. Great layout! Would definitely come back again.

Best vacation of my life… Until I received an unexpected, unwarranted email regarding property damage (questionable claims at best)… I am very hopeful this dispute will resolve peacefully…but I’m not sure what the future holds. Meg

The house is right across from the boardwalk beach access. We had a few issues, probably due to power surge before we arrived, but host tried to have the problems solved and offered a partial refund for our inconvenience. Nice living space, kitchen, and bedrooms.

After many years absence, we returned to BHI for a short vacation an had a great stay. This house is ideally located for access to all that Bald Head Island has to offer. The house itself is a great family house, although there were only 2 of us. Kids would love it! Plenty of bedrooms and beds, great recreation below the house, lots of bikes (bring some oil-- bike chains rust quickly in the salt ocean air!). Kitchen completely stocked. Did I mention that beach access is just across the street? Loved all of it!

We loved this house! The location on the island was so nice and it was just what we needed for a weekend getaway!

Karen was so amazing to talk to and work with. The house was gorgeous, super roomy and had everything a person could need while on vacation. Layout was so neat and spread out. Looked as there was plenty under the porch for kids to do and lots of carts. Thank you Karen for all you did to let my family try to enjoy and make the best of why we was there.

House was well stocked and comfortable. We had a short stay but wished it was longer!!

Family long weekend. Comfortable house, great location - central and view of the water from the porch. Very helpful/responsive host.

We arrived the day after BHI was hit with some wind from Hurricane Ian. There were a few glitches as a result, but Kathy was very helpful and is quick to reply. The home is in a perfect location, right across the street from the beach access. We had beautiful sunsets from the deck.

My wife and I have stayed at 15+ homes on BHI and this one is our favorite. The layout of the house is ideal for two families with east wing and west wing bedrooms. The kitchen has been remodeled and has everything you would need. The location of the home is ideal with beach access directly across the street. The large deck is perfect for your morning coffee and afternoon cocktails. The main golf cart is an upgrade over the “standard” carts most other homes have. Everything in this home is just organized very well and is very clean. Kathy is very responsive and was super easy to work with. We will certainly be back to stay here again!

We had a great time staying in this adorable home! The location is so convenient…steps away from the beach and a quick golf cart ride to the harbor or the market. It’s a great space for families & kids!

We booked this house for ourselves, kids and spouses, and grandchildren for a visit to Bald Head Island! The house is situated right across the road from the beach and literally has everything you could want! Bikes, golf carts, beach toys for children, games, etc etc The kitchen is well stocked and all rooms and bathrooms were spacious and comfortable. Sunsets from the deck were magnificent and the beach is spotless and gorgeous! Kathy was so responsive to our questions and was a delight to work with. We enjoyed climbing the lighthouse.. even the little ones. Very relaxing! We are all planning another trip back soon!

We really enjoyed our stay at Turtle Territory! This house is in a GREAT location on the island... just a short cart ride to both clubs & the market/shops, plus direct beach access right across the street. Our kids loved watching the big ships coming in and the golf carts passing by. This was the most well-stocked house we have stayed in on BHI. The house has a new fully stocked kitchen (plenty of pots/knives, some spices, etc.), working bikes, 3 golf carts, kids games, beach chairs, cabana, boogie boards, beach toys, beach towels, etc. that were all in good shape... this makes life a lot easier when you don't have to carry all of that extra stuff on the ferry. There is a bed rail in one of the closets for the top bunk. Kathy was super helpful during check-in when we got to the island a little early. Thanks for sharing your home with us, we hope to come back!
