Good location and spacious with a great view

Staying as a family with 2 young children we feel that the addition of a small table and chairs in the living room would be great for breakfast. Only 2 stools at the kitchen breakfast bar. A few other things - mattresses in both bedrooms weren't great, we didn't sleep very well. Fresh white bedding would be preference for a holiday rental as the bedding smelt a bit musty - no handwash in bathrooms and only 2 toilet rolls, we had to buy some - bright green emergency light in the hallway shone through the downstairs glass door/wall all night - Lack of utensils in kitchen, no serving dishes or strainer. Kitchen roll and foil would be useful - Heater wasn't great in the living room and the room was very cold at night - no pillow cases for the spare pillows in the cupboard

Location was great, lovely dog friendly cafes around, apartment itself was perfect for people with dogs. I was anxious travelling as one of my dogs had been sick and I was fretting about accidents but I needn't have done, there were decent cleaning and washing supplies under the sink in case of emergency, the floors were all wooden and sofas leather (thankfully no cleaning supplies were needed but it put my mind at ease). All very thoughtfully done, all types of glasses in the cupboard including bubbly glasses, a good array of plates and bowls, all utensils and pans you could need if you were preparing food. The only niggle and this is fairly specific and petty so wouldn't affect me booking again or how I rated the property - a gate of some kind for the stairs to the main bedroom would be good. I didn't want to lock my dogs in the living room incase they panicked and scratched the door, at home we let them roam the downstairs but gate them off so we can sleep in peace. They ended up (of course) taking full advantage and coming up to join us in bed. But like I say, this was a very specific dog related issue and would not prevent me going again, only mentioning as it's something to consider if you're taking dogs or even crawling age children. The stairs are quite narrow and steep, and I would pick up some kind of travel gate before visiting again (which we intend to do).

Fantastic location

Much more comfortable and well equipped inside than it might appear outside. Amazingly peaceful but plenty of sights to see and places to get food.

Would definitely stay again but might bring a foam zed-bed for any additional 3rd / 4th guests as this would be a preferred alternative to using and manoeuvring the sofa beds provided.

Great location. Great communication from owner. Spacious bedroom upstairs.

Not very clean. Dirty cups, plates and utensils.. had to wash before use Unable to increase heat in lounge area so cold at night. No bath mat in upstairs bathroom. No hand soap or wash in toilet areas. Got locked in upstairs bathroom for about 40 mins as lock just swivels round. No hooks or facilities in bathroom to put your wash bag or clothes so end up using the toilet seat! All small things that could be easily remedied to make the stay just more comfortable. A small welcome pack with just essentials also makes a big difference . Tried to capture crockery and utensils but greasy and had to be washed before use

The location was brilliant across the road from the sea.The apartment was very clean with everything we needed.Would highly recommend,and we will definitely stay there again

The apartment was bigger than expected and very modern, very comfy beds and lovey view from every window wish I could stayed longer .

Fantastic location! Was so nice to open the blinds and see the sea and NYE fireworks along the bay! Like a picture postcode! Well thought out, spacious and modern apartment set on 2 floors. Lots of lovely touches with the beach themed ornaments and daughter loved the Xmas tree. Great that you could park right outside too. We enjoyed our get away.

As mentioned to the owner, we were disappointed to discover after check in that we were unable to get hot water due to a boiler issue/leak. The shower and heating worked but it was a little inconvenient not to get hot water from the taps. I didn’t really want to have to boil the kettle. Owner did compensate when asked though but I was just a little shocked to find this out after check in.Unfortunately due to the holiday season the boiler couldn’t be fixed.

Absolutely stunning apartment. Extremely spacious. Very clean. Had everything we needed for our stay. Amazing views out of the lounge and both bedroom windows.

Great location and nicely decorated.

Unfortunately, no hot water as there was a temporary problem.
