This cabin was absolutely perfect for us. It is on a beautiful spot right on the lake. It is quiet and calming. The hosts thought of everything that you forgot to bring! It was wonderful and we plan to go back.

We had an amazing time here in this beautiful space. The home is so cozy and was just the perfect size for our family. The host made sure everything you needed was in the home. It’s a must stay for sure!

I sent my sister and new brother-in-law here for their honeymoon, and it was wonderful. They had the best time. Peggy went the extra mile and ensured there were flowers and snacks. The place was spotless and the area is quiet and beautiful. Highly recommend!!!

The accommodations were quaint and decorated nicely. The host provided everything you may have needed for a lake experience. Even a bouy for the dock as the wind was blowing. More than met our expectations.

This was exactly the rustic but fully accomodated place that we needed to recharge and take in beautiful scenery. The panoramic windows and view of lake , sunrise and sunset was incredible.

We stayed Monday to Thursday and it was so peaceful and quiet not sure what the weekends would be like. There are neighbors on one side and in the back of the cottage but that’s to be expected with lake living we didn’t see any of them during our stay. The views are amazing and the cottage has everything you need. If you’re planning on making your meals you’ll want to get your groceries before arriving as the nearest store is 30 minutes away but there is a dollar general 15 min up the road and I was surprised to see that they even had a small selection of fruits and vegetables.

Wonderful cabin with great lakefront views
The four of us truly enjoyed this light, airy and very comfortable cabin. We were able to host others of our family who were staying nearby with room for 10 around dining table and kitchen island. The hosts provided everything we needed, including two kayaks, life jackets, some beach towels, all the dishes and kitchen equipment we needed for several large meals. A great setting, on a quiet lake cove with spectacular weather... was memorable for certain.

We had a wonderful time at this little cabin on the lake! It was very well stocked, all you need is your food & clothing. We were able to watch the eagles & other wildlife, a couple of deer bedded down for the night just outside the window. It is quite a ways from town, so be sure you have what you need, if you love the lake, swimming, fishing & boating you are all set, other than that you have to travel see other things, but it was a perfect get away for us.

We had a wonderful time at this little cabin on the lake! It was very well stocked, all you need is your food & clothing. We were able to watch the eagles & other wildlife, a couple of deer bedded down for the night just outside the window. It is quite a ways from town, so be sure you have what you need, if you love the lake, swimming, fishing & boating you are all set, other than that you have to travel see other things, but it was a perfect get away for us.

Great place for a couple's getaway. The view of the lake is stunning and proved to be the highlight of our week. We looked for something remote and quiet and this fits the bill. Town is a solid half hour away but we planned to do our own cooking so it made little difference to us. Despite several other houses right around us, we saw little activity and enjoyed the peacefulness and calm this place offered. Nicely decorated and updated interior, very clean, comfortable bed, and tech availability if desired. Wonderful experience!

This sweet cottage was exactly as advertised. It was clean, nicely furnished and beautifully decorated, and it had all the supplies we could need and then some! The view was spectacular. We were looking for a quiet place to get away and relax for the weekend, and this place fit the bill perfectly.

Quick phone call to the owner took care of everything! Directions had been emailed to me, but because I changed my password, email wasn't received. Very pleasant owner to my rescue. The property is comfortable and welcoming. The view from the glassed in porch is fabulous! We saw deer several times. Everything you need to have a great time is provided. We only bought food. WiFi had really good connection and speed. My daughter and I are talking of spending a weekend here soon. She loved the peacefulness and tranquility shown in the pictures I sent her!

Our stay in this cabin was enjoyable. It was very clean. Beautiful spot on the lake. Not having a washer or dryer was not ideal for a week long stay at the lake. But we made due. We always have fun no matter what. But the construction going on next door was not fun. The workers began with their earth moving equipment by 6:30am each day. They were putting in the septic system and field lines. Noise and dust was abundant all day long until 3:00pm quitting time. Then we could finally sit outside and enjoy the spectacular views this cabin has! I totally understand that this is beyond the home/cabin owner’s control. But needless to say it was very disappointing. I feel like I only had half a vacation.

Boyd's Creek retreat was amazing. A little slice of heaven! The house was clean, welcoming and stocked with all the necessities needed (i.e. plenty of ice, snacks, spices, cookware, plates, cups, 2 types of coffee makers, etc.) The beds were comfortable, and the a/c worked! We spent most of our time down on the dock swimming. The rest of the time was spent comfortably in the house, looking at the spectacular scenery. Such a quite, remote cove. Thank you for a wonderful stay, filled with quality family time and memories.
