Everything from the booking process to departure was seamless. The owner’s communication was always prompt. The property is exactly as pictured, very clean, and modern. The location was perfect because we were in walking distance to the supermarket and restaurants. Definitely would book from the owner again.

We loved that this location was so close to downtown Vineyard Haven that we were able to walk to restaurants and stores (and not have to deal with traffic and finding a parking spot). Knowing that we would be traveling elsewhere on the island, we brought our car over and appreciated having an off street parking spot available. Given how close the cottage is to the ferry terminal however, a car is not necessary at all. The cottage is immaculate and well appointed, inside and out, with the enclosed patio a wonderful addition. This is our second time staying at a property belonging to this host, and he is an absolute gem…relevant information (directions, parking instructions, etc) were sent in a timely way, and he checked In periodically via email to make sure that all was well and to make himself available for questions and recommendations. I highly recommend this cottage and it’s host!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this well-appointed home in Vineyard Haven. The proximity to the grocery store, restaurants, shops, and public transportation makes this a perfect spot for anyone coming to the Vineyard without a car. The host was very responsive. We will be back!

We had an amazing stay! The house was perfect for our family (2 kids) — we had plenty of space, the kitchen was stocked so it was easy to cook and the location is perfect. We really enjoyed our time in the backyard and walking around the adorable town of Vineyard Haven. It was great to have a parking space behind the house, and it was also easy and fast to get anywhere on the island - no more than 20 minutes when we were visiting. The owner Mike was great to communicate with! Highly recommend this house for your next Vineyard visit.

We loved our time in Martha’s Vineyard, and Mike’s home was the perfect home base during our trip. Located a very short walk from the ferry, grocery store, shopping, and amazing food, the location couldn’t be better. The home was very clean, well stocked, and reflected the listing photos. We would definitely stay here again when visiting the Vineyard!

The home matches the website, and then some! It is in a great location, has a smart layout with lots of space inside and outside, is really clean, and all of your needs are covered.

House was nicely decorated, very clean, host very attentive to our needs and wants, and convenient to in town shopping, restaurants and a grocery store. Only negative was the neighborhood. House was next to a Post Office, across the street was a bike rental shop and a thrift store, so a little noisy; however overall a very good stay.

Beautiful home, well-appointed with every amenity needed for our stay. We could not get over how close we were to Beach Fest and able to enjoy the music right from the amazing patio. Mike was very communicative ensuring we had everything needed including great advice on local restaurants and things to do in the area. Truly top notch.

Myself and some friends had the pleasure of staying at this adorable house. It had all the amenities and location was perfect! Walkable to shops, to/from ferry and Stop n Shop! We loved the house and the back patio was a wonderful area to lounge! Would definitely rent again.

We we’re in MV for the marathon. My 18 ur old ran it (his first). The house was located right near the ferry black dog tavern/ bakery and store as well as stop and shop and several pizza shops! The house was exceptionally clean and the outdoor space is beautiful! Mike checked in with me often to see if we needed anything. The house had everything you need and more. Including a kuerig with complimentary coffee pods and tea options as well. We’ll stocked with soaps shampoo and conditioner paper towels and toilet paper. We needed nothing!! Would definitely recommend and would stay here again!!!

The house was spotless and decorated beautifully, with light filled rooms. The beds were super comfy and the kitchen was great for simple cooking. The patio out back is lovely and was a great place to relax. It was just a few minutes to walk into vineyard haven. Mike was super responsive and accommodating to our requests. We would love to come again!

Great location just minutes (walk) from the ferry, stop & shop, restaurants. Yet, sits in a quiet and friendly neighborhood. This is one of the CLEANEST rentals I have ever rented.
The contained back patio is a renter’s dream! We utilized it both nights of our stay. Beds are cozy-softer side. I usually sleep on a firm mattress but I was very comfortable. Shower seemed roomier in person, than in photograph. Owner even left out some toiletries. Easy to operate all (new) household appliances and light fixtures, no instructions needed.
The owner, Mike, was very thoughtful and checked in with us before and after arrival.
Highly recommend this rental. I will be renting again in the future, as well.

We stayed on island for beach road weekend and we could hear the music from the house (but don’t fear - music ends at 8pm!). The house is nicely appointed including beach chairs, towels, cooler and umbrella. Very convenient for walking around downtown VH and close to ferry terminal and bus. Ample parking as well.

Location is fantastic -- two blocks from the Vineyard Haven Ferry Terminal. Stop and Shop grocery is half a block away. Easy to get around the island -- we brought our electric bikes. A small beach, next to the terminal, was a perfect spot for a Sunday sit out and evenings enjoying a beverage and dinner/snacks. The Net Result was a fantastic place to grab a bite to eat. And of course the Black Dog. Nice shops in Vineyard Haven. If you come, rent or bring bikes, you will will enjoy exploring the entire island. And if you have the opportunity, take the ferry over to Nantucket for the day. The host, Mike, was very good with communication and attentive to our needs.

We have rented several properties through VRBO over the past several years. This was the best one we have done. The house was adorable and had everything you could need! Highly recommend. So clean and in the perfect location to walk to restaurants, shopping and the ferry. Host Mike Sawyer was so accommodating, and checked in on us via TEXT during our stay. Private parking and the outside seating area were a major plus.

Absolutely wonderful!
I can not say enough positive things about this property and our host! From the gorgeous patio to the beautiful decor, Mike Sawyer did not cut any corners. The beds were incredibly comfortable, down pillows and comforter were excellent quality. The most wonderful part besides being just two blocks from town? We texted Mike to see where to get a wheelchair because a member of our party was still recovering from surgery and within an hour, he had one for us. He checked in with us over the weekend and we felt like we were able to contact him for anything!

Everything about this rental was excellent--- the property, the location, and the interaction with the owner. Very clean, beautifully decorated, conveniently located close to many things, and overall a perfect rental for a family of 4. We all really enjoyed relaxing in the beautifully set up backyard. Mike did a great job renovating this house which is perfect for a couple getaway or small group. Everything in Vineyard Haven is within walking distance and the ferry is there too. We left a computer behind and Mike was helpful in getting it back to us—thanks Mike! Highly recommend this rental!

Relaxing Weekend Getaway
My fiancé and I stayed at this property for a weekend getaway in March and couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. The house is newly renovated, very clean and had everything we needed. The home owner, Mike, was very easy to communicate with and went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable in the house. We will definitely be back!

Perfect in-town location, contemporary design, quiet and clean.
This modern cottage offers everything needed for a “home base” on Martha’s Vineyard. The unit has tons of thoughtful touches like 3 flat screen TVs, fast Internet, fully-equipped kitchen with great appliances. The owner, Mike, is kind and helpful. I usually visit Martha’s Vineyard several times per year for work reasons, and have been disappointed with local hotels. I’ll certainly choose this house again next time if it’s available.
