Lo mejor del hotel es la ubicación ya que está muy cerca del centro del pueblo y pegado a la playa

Las instalaciones están muy descuidadas y sucias, el foco del baño no tenía luz, creo que lo único que realmente vale la pena es que tiene su club de playa y mucha variedad en la carta. Si vas una o 2 noches y no eres muy exigente.

Wrong address on google map. the hotel was really hard to find. Everything in the hotel was very old and barley works. The dirtiest hotel key I have ever touched. The door in our room barley works. There is no lock in the balcony door. Lobby staff was not happy when I asked him for new batteries for the AC remote. TV doesn't work. Bad lighting in the whole hotel. Feels like the owner had given up! It's a shame since the hotel is so well located..

The room was dirty, the front & back doors didn’t lock, the bathroom light didn’t work and the taps so filthy you didn’t want to touch them - so bad we left to go to our next hotel early for a shower.

I didn't have breakfast with my reservation, but the location was great, I really enjoy to wake up and walk 5 to 10 steps to be at the beach. Also Restaurant staff was great and friendly. I had a bad experience with one of the servers during the day, but besides her all the staff were great persons

The pool was nice however it needs more attention. The first night of our stay someone was drinking and let beer bottles and some more trash around the pool and until our last day the bottles still there. But the most important at the restaurant one of the team members(Estafania who calls herself Stephany) needs more training on customer service as she is more inclined to attend Americans that any other race and the differences that she makes are really noticeable and that gives really bad impression on the restaurant. Luckily I was there the night before and was able to meet other members who were really friendly and respectful people

You can walk right out to the beach or enjoy the pool. Restaurant with great food and drinks available ( very reasonable) at the pool or the beach.

Location was perfect. Access to lounge chairs and umbrellas and bar/food service on the beach was great. The restaurant was good and staff worked hard to please

Rooms were outdated, could use some fixing up and stronger air conditioning. The price was very high and the hotel not worth that much.

It is in an excellent location, with several restaurants within walking distance. Also has restaurant/bar on site. Clean pool.

I was on the first floor ocean side. Door was very hard to lock and unlock and at night I couldn't have a window open because there was no window. Didn't feel safe leaving the door open.

Well located Bien situé

This place feel like it is abandonned. Staff was not helpfull. I have been to Mexico many many times and by far the worst hotel I have been in this range of prices. Sheets had paint spots, curtain had wholes, chairs were broken and when we had our room I did a quick clean up as there was lots of dust on the furniture. Would not recommand.

It needs upgrading. I read a few months ago about a loose faucet. We must have had the same room. We arrived at night with a female cab driver and she was afraid to approach the entrance.

The location is great. Right on the beach and about 4 blocks to the main square. Close to lots of good restaurants. Their beach club is very good. Staff was really good and friendly.

They don't provide bottled water or glasses in the bathroom. TV costs extra but we had our Kindles with Prime so not a problem.

The beach club access was awesome! Super comfy beds and very clean.

The location was great .. right on the beach and close to lots of bars and restaurants.

The room I had was close to the main entrance which was convenient but a little noisier during the daytime because of the beach traffic in the adjacent hallway. Was not loud enough to deter me from staying there again.

The property was in a great location. room was spacious and clean. shower was great.

we arrived at 1 we had asked for an early check in. We had been caught in rain and were soaked. The counter guy said room wasn’t ready.So we went to the restaurant on site and kept checking back with him finally at 3 we went back to him 3rd or 4th time and he told us he didn’t have the key and second shift would have to let us in.About 10 minutes later the next shift showed up. The key was under counter the whole time. The second shift guy was not more helpful. The people at restaurant were great and friendly. The front desk needs work. I stay in hotels close to 200 nights a year. This is one of my worst check in experiences. We love Puerto Morelos and will be back but not at your hotel.

Lovely staff, location and beach club is everything. Good restaurant.

Pool area needs maintenance. Pictures is showing sunbeds and a playground. That was one of the things that made me book at all and to book the garden bungalow. But there was no sunbeds and playground was really dangerous. Location and staff are really great. A lil maintenance by the pool and something for the kids and a would have rated a 10/10 for the price. We also didn't have any closet or no where to put our clothes in the bungalow. It got messy with two kids. With closet space I would have considered a longer stay. This place is a gem that needs a lil touch up.

No drinking glasses, no safe in the room

The hotel is vers well situated with a nice private beach area (sunbeds free for the hotel customers). Thanks to Victor and the staff from the restaurant and bar for their kindness and good work. Not to forge Ernesto and Fernando at the front desk.

The pictures of the hotel and rooms are misleading and not the reality of what you get!

If you booked this hotel, CANCEL it NOW. Do not even consider going. The rooms and the property of Beach Club Ojo de Agua in Puerto Morelas is nothing like the pictures or description on Booking.com. The rooms we were given were not just unclean but hazardous. Major (health) concerns included: black mold growing on of the walls (two people in my family have asthma which can be triggered by mold- but black mold is dangerous for anyone, asthma or not). One of the bathroom window latches was broken-problematic as it opened to the hotel walkway so anyone can climb in. The sliding glass door in one rooms was shut by a piece of wood at the base of the door also broken lock. There was an utilities closet with a broken lock and a door that did not shut properly in one room. The utilities closet had pipes running up to the roof (opened to the sky as I can see sky when I opened the closet) and dropped down two floors! If someone step into the closet it would be a 20 feet drop. Not safe at all for anyone let alone a family with kids. Minor issues included broken and missing bathroom fixtures, a TV that did not work, lots of dried stains on the bedsheets and towels (ironically we had to sign a waiver when we checked in that if we stained any of the towels or bedding we would be charged for them), and what looked like dried blood on one of the walls. The closet door was missing, there was no safe in the room, and at one point in the night I asked why my husband left the shower on and he said that’s the sound of the rain pouring down the pipes in the utilities closet!
