Location, view, the layout of the lodge and the hosts were lovely!
The steep hill leading down to the lodge was fine on the way down but hard work on the way back up! It was only a short distance, but bear it in mind when you bring your luggage back up from the lodge!

The views were beautiful! We loved how secluded the lodge was and saw and heard lots of wildlife including owls, frogs and a deer! The lodge was really cosy and had everything that we needed.

It was really looked after and maintained, the bed was comfortable and it had all the essentials it was really nice!

Amazing location and lovely space, I thoroughly enjoyed the Coastal path walk from the back of the lodge and walking down to Lee. The location is really special. The beds are super comfortable as is the sofa and the light through the glass is lovely too. The added bonus of a falcon and sheepdog display really made the week and added to the general experience of being on the farm, as did watching the sheep come in every morning and be rounded up by the sheepdogs. I loved being on the farm and feeling like I was in the middle of it all. Debbie and David were very helpful and accommodating and meeting the dogs and other members of the family was also great especially as I was away for a walking and reading holiday by myself, it was nice to learn and chat about the area and the farm. The fire-pit was another lovely added bonus especially sitting in front of a vibrant sunset which sets in front of the lodge.
It was all lovely albeit beyond my usual budget but I think it is is normal for such holiday places in the UK at the moment to pay such prices for getaways and considering the location and comfort it was a special and unique way to splash out and all things considered is probably actually a very reasonable price.

Beautiful countryside retreat, ideal for our weekend stay with everything we needed. Close to the main towns and beaches. The lodge was clean, cosy and well kept.

Nice and comfortable appartment. Great view in a calm area, perfect to relax. Also the ocean and a supermarket is close.

The lodge is spotless and comfortable and really beautifully presented. The views are stunning the whole place is quite magical. I would highly recommend. I

David and Debbie have certainly created a wonderful little retreat. Pure escapism but with all the comforts you need for a relaxing stay. Their warm welcome and fond farewell was greatly appreciated. A wonderful getaway to recharge and escape from it all. We loved the walk to Lee from the lodge and the fire pit! Thanks you both!
