Talia's places are wonderful! First time at the Franklin - may be our favorite :-) Sooooo close to all the fun downtown, but then comfy and homey after the day and evening in Mount Dora!

Adorable and quaint, perfectly designed, immaculately clean, 1-bedroom spacious townhouse in downtown Mt Dora. They paid attention to every detail on everything you need for your home away from home. Even your car will be happy in the garage. Literally bring your suitcase that’s all you need. Less than two minutes from everything in Mt. Dora. Our weekend at the craft show couldn’t be better knowing we were minutes away to relaxation. We will be back!

The Franklin made our weekend anniversary getaway in charming Mount Dora feel extra special. This rental is immaculate, beautifully decorated, well-appointing with everything we needed, and within easy walking distance of absolutely everything! We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

A short walk to Donnelly Street where shops and restaurants are located. Beautifully decorated and comfortable. The host has thought of things you will need, such as make up remover cloths, plenty of k-cups for Keurig coffee maker, coffee condiments, tooth paste. I liked the wine cooler downstairs in the bedroom for our bottled waters and there’s a Keurig coffee maker there as well if you don’t want to take stairs to the kitchen. We purchased a gallon of water to use in coffee makers, I prefer instead of using tap water. Very nice touch with a welcome gift! I’m giving a 4 star on cleanliness because the shower head needs a good cleaning as it had black debris around the tiny holes. You can’t go wrong in choosing The Franklin for your stay in charming Mt Dora!

What an incredible experience Talia provided to us! We got married near by and rented all of her Mt Dora properties for our family and bridal party and the customer service and accommodations were above and beyond. From the personalized welcome cookies to the small details and fulfilled requests, we’ve truly never experienced this type hospitality. We will absolutely stay again and recommend her properties to all bride & grooms, family and friends and anyone visiting Mt Dora!! And all of our family and guests agreed with each home they accompanied!

Absolutely loved this house. We visited Mount Dora for a friends birthday. The town has so much to do! My husband was pleasantly surprised. The house was perfect and a 5 minute walk to the downtown area. Definitely will stay here again.

Our time at the Franklin was wonderful! We appreciated the personal touches from the start, from the communication before we arrived to the personal note and the wine waiting for us upon arrival. Marvelous attention to detail and a warm, personal touch throughout the property, from snacks, to the Brita pitcher, to the Keurig pods for our morning coffee. We enjoyed sitting in the chairs on the balcony, enjoying morning coffee and greeting passersby. In short, Talia is a gracious host who makes sure you feel at home. We hope to come back some day!

We loved our stay at The Franklin. The bed was super comfy. The shower was heavenly. The location is perfect, just out of the crowds but a quick walk to the downtown. The property is immaculate and every detail was in place. Thank you!

The property was perfect, comfortable and modern. Downtown Mt. Dora was in easy walking distance. The property representative (Talia) was responsive to questions and very helpful. We will definitely check for availability of this property on our next visit to Mt. Dora.

We enjoyed staying in the Franklin for our short trip to Mount Dora. The townhouse was just perfect. Everything is new and super clean!!! My husband really liked the floors and we are now thinking about putting them in our home. We were able to walk to everything which was nice not to have deal with parking a car. We had a nice meal at The Goblin Market and enjoyed a nice boat ride with Premier Boat Tours. We will definitely be back and hope The Franklin will be available when we do.

After a week’s stay, The Franklin is most definitely 5-star luxury. The VRBO listing is 100% accurate. It shares the brand, new building with another unit but the entrances to each are on different sides of the building so you have complete privacy. Everything is top notch from the unit’s design, décor, furniture, appliances, and light and plumbing fixtures. Just some examples…Crown molding throughout including the bathrooms. Frameless glass shower door to a huge walk-in shower with both rain and handheld shower heads. Wet Bar, Coffee Station and Mini Fridge in the Master Bedroom. Door stops and bumper guards installed to protect door and cabinet handles from marring the paint. Real wood cabinets. The largest residential stacked washer / dryer that we have ever seen. The unit is comfortable in all respects. A good night’s sleep on the memory foam mattress. Large sectional sofa so several people can spread out and not sit cramped together. Comfortable upholstered swivel chair in the downstairs bedroom; a perfect spot to go to be alone and read a book. Rocking chairs to relax on the porch with views of the surrounding neighborhood. The kitchen is amazing as it is stocked with all top-of-the-line cookware, cutlery, small appliances, cooking utensils, cutting boards, dinnerware, stemware, silverware etc. You could prepare a gourmet meal based on everything provided. The Franklin’s location is perfect to keep your car parked and walk just a couple of blocks to be in the middle of historic downtown Mount Dora with all its quaint shoppes and restaurants. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Alan, when he stopped by to take care of the garbage cans. After speaking with him about his rentals, I have the feeling that the Franklin and his other new rental units will be just as pristine years down the road. He is truly devoted to providing his guests an upscale experience and takes pride and interest in his properties. His Property Manager, Talia, is outstanding. She is extremely responsive to calls or emails and works to make sure that her guests are happy and comfortable. She was a delight to deal with. Without hesitation, we highly recommend The Franklin and look forward to a return visit!

Lovely rental so close to all the shops, parks, restaurants, night spots, and nearby parks in beautiful Mt. Dora. Located In a very walkable neighborhood, and just one block from a nice city-maintained bike path. The home was extremely clean, and very well appointed with comfortable bed and furnishings. Owner was an absolute joy to work with, and I would both stay again, and highly recommend this property.
