The rooms were clean and well-designed with plenty of space to store bags and items. The breakfast was great and staff friendly and accommodating! It was a beautiful hotel!

Mattress was extremely hard

The lobby was perfect for a large family gathering the evening before my brother's funeral. Both Danielle and Leila worked to make it a great environment for us and couldn't possibly have been more helpful. Refill spout for water jugs was nice to have. Free coffee in the lobby was very good.

No drawers in the room. Snacks were generally unhealthy and overpriced.

The breakfast was very good every morning. The room was extremely clean and the hotel clerks were very friendly and helpful.

The door to the room was extremely heavy to push open. I don't see how an older person could have opened it.

The pancake maker was cool! The rooms super comfy and clean. I loved the dispensers in the room (shampoo, conditioner, body soap and lotion!

It was so conveniently located off of the interstate, but quiet area, with a hospital just a few blocks away. I always like to know the area of the hospital on vacations just in case they are needed! It was the cutest lobby, complete with pod swings, a pool table, and several board games for the kids. Breakfast was delicious. We have a 1 year old and never before have I had a hotel accommodate our room with a pack-n-play or crib. Tru was prepared! Beds were super comfy, rooms clean! This was our first time staying at a Tru by Hilton, but will definitely be looking for them at future destinations.

I loved the aesthetic. I also loved how clean it was. I enjoyed the atmosphere in the lobby. I sat down there for a couple hours each night and enjoyed all of the conversation and laughter that was happening. I especially loved the convenience store, that definitely came in handy!

This is not about the property but I did not like the fact that I had to pay an extra $100 for incidental fees. I had no idea that was going to happen and was not at lake expecting that whatsoever. It was nowhere mentioned on the booking.com website. I am glad the money returned to my bank account as quick as it did after checking out (maybe within two hours) but I could have used that money to do more things on my trip in Nashville. Please make people aware that there will be incidental fees when booking. It caught me off guard. What would’ve happened if I didn’t have that extra $100? This was nowhere mentioned when I booked. Just would have appreciated a heads up, that’s all. Also when I checked out, the incidental fee was NOWHERE mentioned on the check out receipt. Now why is that? Anyways, would love to have been aware before hand and would’ve loved if it were on the receipt when checking out. What if the incidental fee wasn’t returned? I would have had no proof that you charged me an extra $100.
