This place is conveniently located 2 min walk to the beach across the street. Great restaurants nearby, easy parking. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. Nice balcony, comfy couch to movies, kitchen was decently equipped. Worked out great for us.

Our stay was so pleasant and enjoyable! The home is clean, comfortable, and nicely decorated. The location is excellent, with a beach and pier view and a path to the beach right across the street. Center Street shops and restaurants are just a block away. We would gladly stay here again.

Our recent stay at the B102 rental left us with mixed feelings. While the property boasts a spacious layout, convenient location, and basic essentials for a comfortable stay, some significant concerns hindered our overall experience.
One of the noticeable drawbacks was the cleanliness of the rental. Unfortunately, one of the tubs, specifically the Jacuzzi with jets, was unusable due to excessive mildew. This was disappointing, as it limited our options for relaxation after a day of exploring the surrounding area. This was also one of the major reasons we booked this specific rental. Having young kids, we needed a bath option over a shower.
Another inconvenience we faced was the inconsistency of hot water. Regrettably, our family couldn't all shower during the same hours, forcing us to resort to cold baths for our small children. This unexpected challenge significantly impacted our comfort and convenience during our stay.
The condition of the pillows further added to our dissatisfaction. Despite their presence, we chose not to use them due to visible stains behind the pillowcases. The pillows appeared aged and overdue for replacement, detracting from the overall cleanliness and comfort of the accommodation.
During our stay, a minor issue arose with the smoke detector battery. Unfortunately, there was no ladder on the property to address this matter, leaving my husband to improvise by standing on a barstool to resolve the problem. While not a major concern, it did highlight a lack of attention to detail in maintaining the property. The company also apologized for not immediately answering our inquiry.
On a positive note, the property's size and its provision of basic essentials were commendable. The location was perfect, offering convenience and accessibility to nearby attractions.
In conclusion, the B102 rental has the potential to be a top-notch accommodation, but improvements in cleanliness, hot water consistency, pillow quality, and property maintenance are crucial to ensuring a more enjoyable and trouble-free stay for future guests.

The location was perfect and the property just as described. The home was clean, comfortable, and had all the amenities our party needed. The Folly Beach Vacasa was very responsive to questions. Check-in/ out could not have been easier. Definitely looking forward to our next stay.

Checkin was so smooth for this condo and as we initially entered the rental, we were all extremely pleased with the space! I was travelling with my husband, our newborn baby, and my mother in law. The rooms were spacious and tidy, and we were excited to even have a view of the ocean from the balcony.
…And then nightfall came.We came out of the bedroom to the kitchen to warm up a bottle for our baby and were horrified to find HUGE cockroaches all over the kitchen. These things were like the dinosaurs of cockroaches; we are talking 3-4 inches minimum. I contacted the rental company managing the property (and this listing) and was told they were contacting the “local management.” Well the next day, we still heard nothing back. The entire scenario replayed itself that night. Once again I contacted the management team—we simply wanted to leave at this point and get our money back for the rest of the stay. It was extremely unsanitary to have a newborn around roaches. Once again the property management said we would need to wait for the “local management team.” Once again nothing happened and no one contacted us again. Night 3 we found a roach in our actual bedroom about a foot away from the baby’s bassinet. Night 4 they were in the bathroom. We repeatedly reached out and repeatedly were told to please keep waiting for the local team. We couldn’t go elsewhere because we had paid in full already. Stay at your own risk.

Loved this place. It was a quick walk to the beach. Not sure why we even got a rental car. We walked everywhere. The size of the condo was perfect and the price was right. There were a couple things that needed fixing before we even checked in but Vacasa was great communicating with us and making arrangements to get it fixed quickly. I will add that the things that needed fixing were nothing that affected us. Will be back for sure!

The condo was nice and clean, and the living and dining area were nicely furnished. The beds and pillows were comfortable, but the bedrooms had no storage space for clothing other than the closets. One nice, roomy bathroom had no towel racks except a ring for a hand towel. It concerned us that the lights flickered or dimmed briefly. One chair has a screw point sticking out and I caught my leg on it making a bloody red streak. I covered the end of the screw with a Band-Aid. (The injury is healing nicely.) We enjoyed our time there.

To start off, we got to Folly Beach early, around 11am, and had asked for early check-in, which on the site said might be possible. Then we get an email stating that early check-in wasn't possible and the door lock was time sensitive, so we had to wait until 4pm to go in. It's an electronic lock and I'm not aware of a way to make it "time sensitive", so I don't believe it was. First thing we notice is the kitchen faucet is installed upside down, so the handle to turn on the water is facing down and you have to pull it up, or push it down, I can't remember now. The dishes in the cabinets were still wet. We go in to the master bathroom and after flushing the toilet it doesn't refill for a half hour. We were greeted by a lovely large cockroach in the bathtub of the second bathroom when we arrived home on the second day. The master bedroom window is missing and filled in with a piece of wood. The towels are the thinnest, cheapest towels you could possibly get. I think Motel 6 has nicer ones. The flusher handles on the toilets are so old and cracked, one of them broke right in half when I tried to flush the toilet. Overall it was comfortable but not what I would expect for a nice rental on the beach. A little disappointed for $350/night...I reported everything and got a text back thanking me for letting them know about all of the issues...that's it.

We had a great time and location was absolutely perfect! Across from the beach and walking distance to every cool local spot. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. There was alittle confusion in the beginning. Gps has no idea where the location actually is tried to tell us it was the first spot after you turn on the street but really its further down passed another rental place so we were lost. Also the company kept telling us there were two parking spots and to park with the flow of traffic indicating we had spots reserved on the street when actually there were two spots reserved in their private park area under the houses. Other than that our stay we smooth sailing.

Beds are small so if you’re not 6’ or smaller you won’t be comfortable. You can hear every footstep from the floor above!

We loved being a short distance to beach, shops, restaurants & bars! It made our stay so much more enjoyable having easy access and staying in a beautiful place! We loved being able to sit outside on the balcony from sunrise and past sunset!

Very easy to book this condo. Good communication with VACASA. Only negative was the kitchen “supplies” Not enough glassware , pots , pans and utensils. Also the bedrooms could have used some dressers . That said it was a lovely condo and we so enjoyed our stay!

Great Location - Unit needs updating
Although this is a great location I wouldn't rent this unit (B102) again. The hall bathroom had some mold by the tub which caused allergies to some of us. The kitchen was not very well equipped with old dishes and pans that you could not cook a family meal. There was a cable mess on the floor and despite that, the tv reception was blurry and too small. There was a note on the AC to keep the air at or above 73 degrees. There was not a dresser for clothes in either of the bedrooms except for a small one in the master. The master should have a king bed, not two "full beds" which you could tell were old. The comforters were thin, stained and not very nice. Couches are stained. As a previous renter of my own beach unit in the past, it's the details that matter.

Overpriced for Amenities & Condition
Cons:Only one TV in 3 bedroom condo, no dressers, chest of drawers, or luggage rack for clothes (live out of suitcases all week), what looked like black mold along baseboard of queen bedroom tub, filthy a/c registers, broken or very cheap kitchenware and small appliances (not even an electric can opener that works), what used to be ocean view master bedroom has been converted to 2 double beds, so the kids got the garden tub, large vanity, 2 closets and huge bathroom while we got a room not much bigger than their closets. Very old plumbing fixtures, toilet in queen bathroom was sitting at a slant to the tub?,had a huge leak from one of the bedroom windows during a storm in the double bedroom , called property manager the next day, but no one ever came. Asked for extra wash clothes the first day but never received them either. Pros:Great location, across the street from public beach access and one block from Center Street, but price needs to reflect the quality of the unit

Family vacation
It was a great week. Loved the proximity to the beach ( though go early and mark a spot) it gets packed! Heart of Folly ( Center Street) was fun with good food. Condo had basic supplies for cooking, etc. it was clean and quiet ( well except for the people upstairs that walked heavily, constantly and at all hours). It was a great week overall!

Great location. Convenient access to the beach and downtown Folly Beach. Apartment was nice but could use a review of the pits and pans in the kitchen. Many sharp knives. Someone needs to check the handle on the faucet of the kitchen sink. It is on upside down. Nice place, just needs a couple tweaks.

My husband, daughter and I had a relaxing weekend at Folly Beach. The property was very clean, with everything we needed. It was close to the beach and restaurants. We would definitely stay here again.
