Wonderful location, wonderful property and an all around WONDERFUL time! (In case you hadn't guessed, lol.) The house layout was beyond expectations for a multi-generational family group, with everyone able to be with together and yet have enough space to not feel on top of each other.
The views from the deck (and living spaces!) were spectacular, and quite a bit of time was spent just sitting and listening to the waves on the shore. The window seat in the library was equally enticing, and the media room allowed the younger kids the ability to feel like they had some space of their own while the adults could supervise and yet also have some peaceful moments.

Beautiful views of the beach from the property. We were 4 families altogether with our kids and had a wonderful time. Walks to the beach, lighthouse, ice cream shops and lobster rolls made it very special. A 20 minute drive to Ogunquit as well. 😍

Highly recommend this stay for any large group! The house was absolutely gorgeous, as were the views. The location was perfect and we loved being able to walk to the Nubble Lighthouse. I also can’t say enough about the hosts responsiveness. There were massive power outages on the day of our check in and the hosts made sure they were in constant contact and updating us of the status. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful time celebrating a long weekend at Loafin' By the Ocean. There was plenty of space to accommodate five families (kids ages ranged from 1 year old to 14!). The location was great and the neighborhood was quiet (almost felt like no one else lived near by!). We would definitely recommend and would go back in the future! Thanks for a great stay!

The house had every amenity one could ask for (beach chairs, wagons, boogie boards) which saved while packing. The rooms were thoughtfully and tastefully curated, with room to stretch out and not get in each other’s way. We were 9 adults, and 6 children ranging from 5-12, and enjoyed the ample outdoor space along with the roominess of the house. The view over the ocean was more spectacular than the listing pictures, and we spent most of our non-beach time on the cozy deck. Thank you for allowing us the pleasure of staying at your beautiful home.

This was the best vacation home we have ever rented! It was well appointed with space for all. We had 15 family members and we never felt cramped! There is a library for reading and games with the kids, a small sitting room where video games can be played by bigger kids and a large family room with views of the ocean. The kitchen is well equipped and the dining room sat us all comfortably. The deck offers plenty of seating with a wrap around sofa. The views of the ocean are spectacular and we saw the rising of the super moon over the ocean that we will never forget. The garage is organized and plenty of receptacles for trash and back-up gas tanks for the grill. Most importantly, the place is immaculate! We thank you Kate and Maura for allowing us to rent your beautiful home! We cannot wait to go back!

Beautiful, comfortable home in a great location
Our extended family of 15 had an amazing summer trip/family reunion. The house was so spacious and comfortable, with a variety of lovely gathering areas (including my favorite - a library with reading nook overlooking the ocean). It’s in an great area with a variety of things to do just a short walk or even shorter drive away. I would highly recommend this property.

We Years Eve Celebration
We were a large family gathering and booked this home for all of the space it provided. We could not have been happier with this beautiful home. Everything was clean, well stocked and the views from most of the rooms of the ocean were fabulous. We were able to walk easily to all of the highlights of York Maine. We highly recommend this home

Lovely and a great view
We had a wonderful time here and really enjoyed the house and its location. One of the few places we've stayed where the photos, while nice, don't actually do it justice. Highly recommended and everything was easy with communication and check-in. Would have been nice to have sheets and towels provided, but we managed.

perfect beach home for a large group
This home had plenty of space for our large group of 3 families with adults and children in all age groups. Beautiful views of the ocean. We loved the deck and relaxing around the gas fireplace. The extra long dining table made dinners a breeze. Pretty easy walk to Long Sands with wagons (I did it alone with beach stuff and two children under 6); or some days we chose to drive our stuff and drop off members of our party then one of us would return the car to the house and walk back to the beach…making it easier for the smaller kids and older folks. A nice walk to Nubble Light as well. Owners were responsive and accommodating. We loved Lowe-Finn by the Ocean.

York Family Vacation
We had an amazing time staying at this property. We had 11 people - 8 adults and 3 kids and the house was absolutely perfect. Very spacious, enough bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone to spread out. The deck was an added bonus, both during the day sitting out in the sun, to enjoying the fire pit at night. There was a small yard which was perfect for the kids to run around. The house was nicely decorated and the view of the ocean was wonderful. The location was good - on a quiet street, close enough to walk to the beach and into town. Also a very short walk to fox’s lobster house and dunnes ice cream. I would certainly recommend this property.

Great stay at Holiday on the Nubble!
This property was exactly as advertised. The variety of rooms & how they were furnished gave family members options for playing games, watching tv, talking together or being alone to read, etc. The kitchen was very well stocked with cookware, utensils, serving pieces, etc. which was great for our family that cooks. We loved the ocean views from many rooms. The location was good for walking to the Nubble Lighthouse, beaches and Short Sands commercial area.

July 4th vacation
We had a lovely summer vacation with extended family. The house has plenty of room to spread out, the yard was big enough for the kids to play and the deck was lovely.

Beautiful house
Everything was clean and well maintained .Spacious house. View of the ocean from the living room and the deck. Enjoyed the stay. Only drawback was we had to take our sheets, pillow cases and towels.

Great vacation spot!
The house was clean, spacious, decorated nicely. The checkin process was easy and convenient. Location was also close to beach and stores. The owners are very responsive and cordial. I would highly recommend this property to anyone. Overall, a great stay!
