Quick getaway, very nice stay!

Very private property with a comfortable home. Slept like a baby on an extremely comfortable bed. Check in had a little glitch, Dionne was wonderful and offered us a late check out, which was wonderful to have our weekend away last a few hours longer. The kitchen is pretty well equipt, but a salad spinner would be nice. Loved the cozy sun room. The hot tub jets are fabulous on this young senior couple with aches and pains in places they bever were before. I wish i had booked slightly early so I could have seen all the rhododendrons in bloom. I bet it was stunning. I also highly recommend the Tutrone Ice Cream Stand. It was absolutely delicious and this is from a person that doesn't really care forvice cream.

The house and amenities would have been amazing if it had been cooler. Unfortunately for our group it was a heat wave which made it over 100 degrees in the house. No AC in house and fans didn't help much. Didn't get to use hot tub or fire pit due to the weather. This would make a lovely stay for the fall or spring.
The only thing we had a real issue with is the amount of ants and spiders in the house. We do realize that it's in the woods but there was a lot.
Location was great to get to everything, amenities were great, everything was clean and ready for us. Host was amazing with communication and we loved the notes with instructions. We got to see a lot of wildlife especially deer and rabbits right on the property.

The perfect getaway house for a girls weekend. The house is surrounded with trees and no neighbors in site. The only reason I gave 4 stars is all the beds upstairs are super hard. We would definitely love to come back for another girls trip.

Just returned from a relaxing weekend get away and it was exactly what we needed. We are very busy at home and wanted a weekend to just sit and relax. The house like it is advertised is secluded/private at the end of the street. It is also close enough to things to do (we went to some wineries) and had an excellent dinner in lake harmony (Louie Prime). House was clean and had all basic essentials you need. We loved just curling up on the couch with a fire. Would recommend and come back again

This cabin was great. Spacious but still felt very cozy. We were here for a weekend during a lot of storms, and it was so nice to nestle into the cabin and watch the rain in the forest outside. The host was communicative and let us check out a few hours late on check out day. Would recommend this place to a friend!

Was a great place to just get away from it all. This was our first vacation in years for my husband and me together. We had friends join us which was great because they guys could fish and us women could shop. Close to so many things to do. Only wish I would have had time to use hot tub. House has everything you need to cook feel like home away from home.

IT was a big house .my son and kid age 6 and girlfriend was upstaires for more room .me and husband stayed downstairs bedroom. Games for his son to play .kitchen nice size.Hot tub could be cleaner. But fun. We went to all water pks. Allthe stores were close. 7 min . Very convenient.

Booked this spot for a men's weekend with my dad & brother, and it was ideal for laying low & spending quality time together. All amenities & luxuries listed were available and working, and the interior was clean & spacious.
House definitely felt 'lived in', so if you're expecting a pristine/immaculate space upon arrival I'd dial those expectations back a bit. Location-wise the house is at the end of a cul-de-sac & private, as the listing states, but the sounds of the highway can be heard through the canopy/forest surrounding the house so you're still mildly tethered to civilization (if that matters to you/your party).
The aforementioned should more be considered observations rather than complaints; for the price, location (in terms of proximity to surrounding lakes, Mt Airy Casino/resort, restaurants/shopping, etc.), and responsiveness/professionalism/courtesy of the host I'd highly recommend it for your group!

We had a really nice stay at this house. It was comfortable, had all the things that you would want to have at your own home, and was easy to access. The hot tub with a definite bonus. It was very warm and inviting and such a great place to relax and unwind. I would recommend this home to anyone who is looking for a Pocono vacation!

We had a great time. The home is comfortable and the kitchen is well stocked. The jacuzzi works like a dream and the space has plenty of space to relax. It was at the end of the road and provided plenty of privacy to enjoy time with the fam. Highly recommended.

This is your getaway spot! The house is very welcoming and check in was smooth and easy. The location is great and close to everything in the Poconos. Between the amenities inside and the private backyard, this is a great spot for families or even a cozy weekend away. We hope to come back soon!

Perfect house and location
House was as advertised, clean neat and in a perfect location. Hot tub was wonderful addition to our stay( kids loved it). Property owner was very nice and responsive to my questions. Would definitely recommend a stay at this location.

Perfect for our needs
The property was in a perfect location for our event that was happening at the Kalahari Resort (8 miles away). Overall, very clean. There is a step down into the living room from the dining room which is difficult to see. Another guest and I almost fell when walking across the dining area to enter the living room. The floors are hardwood, and the step down just blends the two rooms together. We ended up scooting the couch up against the step to avoid falling. There are several signs in the house to tell you what to do with hot tub , fireplace etc which are very helpful. I would recommend one near the step to warn guest of the change in elevation. Outdoor fireplace was a nice touch as well as hot tub. We did not use the hot tub. The water was clear but a lot of debris in it from all the surrounding trees. Kitchen was well stocked and made meal prep easy. Great to have extra supplies ie dish soap, spices, laundry detergent and even shampoo and conditioner, Would certainly staty here again in the future.

Cousins Getaway
Rented this property to take my daughter, nieces and nephew for a cousins' weekend. The hot tub was a hit. Owner was very helpful. Beds were comfortable. Secluded on a cul da sac, although the property buts up against the main road and you can hear traffic. The property is very close to Kalihari Resort for the swim park. We enjoyed the ice cream place and Wingz and a prayer down the road.

Great place to stay
I had a great experience at this house. The owner was very responsive and accommodating. It was very clean and spacious. Kalahari Waterpark, Walmart and food stores were about a 10 minute drive away making it super convenient to go out. The hot tub, fire place and smart TV's kept everyone entertained and toasty. The rooms were a nice size and the bunk beds made it comfortable for the kids to sleep in one room. Strongly recommend staying here if you have a large family. Look forward to staying here again.
