Nothing but good things to say about this property. Everything was as advertised. Very comfortable rental with easy parking and great location a short walk from town. Would stay here again.

Very cute cottage. It was very close to the waterfront. It was quiet, and had everything you need. No steps was great for us and our elderly dog.

Went for the weekend and we enjoyed our stay. Very cute cottage and close to downtown which was nice. For the most part it was clean and well kept. Our only issue however was the shower looked like it was missed and not cleaned before our stay. Other than that we had a great time.

We had a very nice weekend in this cottage. The walk to downtown was very pleasant and close. The cottage was clean and as advertised. I appreciated the efficient communication for the check-in process. We did not have any issues so no need to reach out for any concerns but an emergency number was given to us in case we did. I would definitely consider staying here again if we revisit.

We had a very nice stay in the Shell Cottage. It was clean, had a fully stocked kitchen, a nice living room area, and comfortable bed and linens. It was a short walk (~5 minutes) from the historic downtown shops and restaurants which made it very easy to get around and visit Beaufort. The Shell cottage is dog friendly and we had plenty of room to set up our dog's crate in the main living space for sleeping. There is no place immediately around the cottage for a dog to potty, but there is a park directly across the street which made it easy to have the dog with us. We didn't realize this cottage was part of a compound of several other cottages that all shared a driveway and are positioned close together, so we were a little surprised upon arrival and felt a little lack of privacy while the other guests were also outside their units. For example - the chairs outside the units are situated on the shared driveway in more of a communal format rather than a more private individual stay. That said, all guests were very friendly and respectful. (If you have a group traveling to Beaufort this could be a really fun opportunity to have multiple people in your party all stay on the property in the various cottages!) Overall - we would recommend this little spot if you're going into Beaufort! It's casual, clean, has everything you need, and is conveniently located.

This is now the 2nd time we’ve stayed at this property for the Bridge Run. It’s a great cottage in a wonderful location. Robin, the host, is very responsive and kind too!

Overall great stay in a very good location. Nice cottage that had everything you needed. The owner had an unfortunate maintenance issue with a leaking AC while we were there. He communicated well about the issue and did what he could to make it work while we were there. Including giving us some money back. Beaufort is worth a visit for sure.

This unit was smaller but had more than enough room for two comfortably. Well stocked and comfy. We loved the location (two blocks from the water) and the farmers market across the street on Saturday was an unexpected surprise. Owners were easily contacted and offered great suggestions for dining and sights to see. We will be back here again!

Shell Cottage is in a convenient location in easy walking distance of Front St and the water in Beaufort. It was thoughtfully appointed. The bed was comfy. The kitchen and laundry were perfect. We enjoyed our stay. Thanks, Robin.

We have stayed in a different rental on the property in the past. The Shell Cottage is nice, clean, quiet and a short walk to Front Street in Beaufort. It was exactly what we were looking for. We will stay there again!

The Shell Cottage was excellent!! We really enjoyed our stay. Checkin was easy, we loved that we had access to bicycles. We got a chance to meet Robin, and her husband. Forgive I forget your husbands name. We loved our stay at your cottage, and chatting with you about spots to checkout in Beaufort. We are looking to our next visit to your cottage, and Beaufort.

Very easy rental process … great location

It states pet friendly….The only thing I wished was that there was a grass area for pets to go potty instead of all the rocks. If you walk them up the driveway to the front, I know there is grass there.

Perfect for a couple with the dog. Great location for walking everywhere. Immaculate and well appointed. Manager was extremely helpful with communication and information provided.

House was compact, clean and fully equipped for preparing meals. While it has a convertible sofa in addition to the queen size bed, we found it perfectly suited for a couple. Well-located for walking to any of the waterfront shops and restaurants, and tucked back from the street, making it quiet and private. There is a pleasant outdoor shared space with the cottage next door, complete with grill and tables.

My husband and I stayed here with one of our friends while we were in town for a birthday party. It was a perfect location. We could walk to all the shops and restaurants!

My fiance' and I were unfortunately unable to utilize this beautiful property for our winter getaway. We got COVID the day before we were supposed to arrive. I contacted Robin to let her know and to ensure the house was safe and locked up. She returned our deposit even though we were way past her having to do this. Her kindness and generosity meant so much to us. We look forward to rebooting for a spring trip and hopefully will get to enjoy the Beautiful town of Beaufort while staying at an adorable cottage managed by a truly caring individual. We can't say enough good things about our lovely little cottage! It's cozy, charming, clean, and well-appointed. Communication with our host was timely and very thorough, and our local contact was prompt with answering questions. Everything went so smoothly, from check-in to check-out. The location was excellent for what we wanted; we were able to park the car all weekend and walk everywhere. After we'd checked out, we discovered a delicious breakfast spot within easy walking distance of the cottage.
