This is a beautiful and updated home. Owner was super responsive to a couple of minor questions/issues we had. She was responsive to texts, and sent someone out to help with a minor HVAC issue within a few hours. Excellent information provided about the property as well.

Wonderful property, very convenient and clean. Home has a wonderful layout; the upstairs sitting room was great for the kids to have their own space. Loved the outdoor shower too! Communicative, kind hosts. Will come again!

Wonderful experience with the lovely home at BHI, location and interacting with the fabulous host!! Allison is one of the BEST in terms of her responsiveness and willingness to do whatever is possible to make your stay enjoyable. The house is perfect, especially for two families with the 3rd floor accommodations. Location is perfect as close to the marina, store and club. Only thing I would caution newbies to the island (like us) is be prepared you may not receive all your belongings when you arrive on the island. Highly recommend you label all containers/items as 1 of 10, 2 of 10, etc. as once they dump all your stuff on the parking lot you realize you may not know what is missing. Items may arrive on later ferries.

We booked this property for two families and it worked very well. The owner was responsive, kind, and accommodating. Great location, close to BHI Club and beach access. Would definitely stay again!

Good location close to ferry with nice front decks including a 3rd floor deck with water view. Separate space upstairs for kids. Master bedroom quiet with delightful screened in cozy porch reading

The house is beautiful and spacious. We did have a problem with cockroaches, the home owner had the exterminator out as soon as possible but we continued to see them and we definitely were not used to dealing with them. Creeped us out. Otherwise everything went well.

This is a wonderful house, location, with a responsive and fantastic owner. Allison went above and beyond offering tid bits about the island and activities. The property is very well appointed from the kitchen to the living space. Our family enjoyed the numerous seating areas inside and outside on the various decks around the property.

UnWynd was everything we saw in the pictures and more! From the moment you walk outside of the upper deck surrounded by beautiful palm trees to all of the lovely coastal decor and details in the home - everything was perfect. The house is very clean and accommodating for a large family and 3 dogs! The golf carts were in great condition and were a fun way to cruise the island and see all that it has to offer. We loved how we had access to both the BHI and Shoals Club (although the Shoals was our favorite with the pool, views, amazing Aqua restaurant and umbrella and chairs set up for you on the beach!) The home is super close to the marina and ferry which was helpful. The home owner has wonderful hospitality and she answered any and all questions that we had! We couldn't recommend UnWynd enough and hope to be back in the future!

Just as advertised, excellent house! Golf carts were nice, location 3 minutes from the ferry. House has great amenities, outside shower wash was nice after the beach trips. Beach toys, chairs, movies, wii console were all nice touches!

We loved our stay in UnWynd! We were three families and we had plenty of room to spend time together and also each had a wing of the house to ourselves to retreat to. The house was super clean, and beautifully and comfortably decorated. It was also really well stocked for a perfect vacation — tons of games, books, DVDs, Wii games and beach toys for the kids and lots of beach chairs for adults. The location was great. Lastly, and most importantly, the owner was incredibly helpful in providing information about getting to/off island and getting guest memberships at the local club to help us have a smooth and perfect trip! We can’t wait to come back!

This was my first stay at UnWynd and we will be back again and again! BHI is an amazing paradise and UnWynd is the perfect location to sit back, relax, and enjoy all the island has to offer. The 2 master bedrooms on the main floor was a huge plus! The upstairs was the perfect location to put our kids as the sitting area was complete with a big tv, wii gaming system while the adults could gather downstairs away from the noise. The availability of a high chair, pac n play, baby gate, beach toys, chairs, and beach towels made our packing so very easy! We loved having the option of 3 golf carts for our use as well. The sunset views from the top deck overlooking views of the Cape, was a fantastic place to finish our day with drinks in hand!!!!! We also loved seeing the enormous freighter ships float by from that top deck!!!! The main porch area had tons of seating and a wonderful place to enjoy a morning coffee or reading a book in the afternoon after a day at the beach. There were plenty of options for seating everyone at meals as the back porch had seating for 6 and the kitchen had seating for 6 at the kitchen table and 4 more seats at the kitchen counter! The beach access was just steps away from this home, we didn’t even need the golf cart to get there! This house also had memberships to both the clubs available to us for the option of temporary membership which was great! This house is well laid out for multiple families to enjoy. The house manager was available to show us the house upon arrival and answer any questions we had during our stay! The location was great, away from all the hustle of the island and quiet enough to hear the ocean at night! We are excited this house was added to VRBO! We will be back, for sure!!!

UnWynd is a lovely home away from home while on BHI. The front porch with ample seating is a great place to start the day while everyone wakes up and a wonderful venue for a cocktail as the day winds down. The living room is open and airy, the perfect place for games. The bedrooms were super comfortable, offering plenty of room for our crew. We appreciated the beach being a short walk from the house and had a fun time combing the beach for treasures. The house comes equipped with beach toys, chairs and towels, which was a huge bonus. My kids enjoyed trying out all 3 of the golf carts to find their favorite. We can't wait to go back.
