The cabin was rustic, charming and VERY well stocked. It's the best stocked VRBO I've ever had. The views were beautiful and beach access was great. Being near the harbor, we really had everything we needed right there. The property manager is pleasant and professional. As a gardener/farmer, I particularly enjoyed the plantings at the house and throughout the neighborhood. Beautiful gardens! We drove by early just to get our bearings/make plans (disabled child - planning ahead is important!). We were aggressively stopped (while driving by her house on our way OUT) by a nosy, nasty neighbor who clearly did not want us there. I really don't like calling people Karens, but this person fit the bill, unfortunately. There were a few cons to this property, but altogether, this home is a great place to retreat for a quiet weekend at the beach, which is what we needed. Just maybe avoid the neighbor, even if she repeatedly yells at you to stop your vehicle. Don't make our mistake. Just keep rolling...

We visited the Oregon coast for spring break and this was a perfect location for our family! Just steps to the beach, beautiful ocean views, and everything you need right in this amazing beach home. The management was accessible. The home was beautiful and just as advertised.

This property had a great view and beach access. The location was near restaurants and many outdoor hiking areas.

We had a lovely stop over to watch stings concert near by. Thank you for having us.

Perfect….. couldn’t have been better!

We spent 4 nights here. It was clean, had amazing views, and was adorable.. We will be staying again the next time we are in the area. It had everything you would need or want to enjoy a cozy weekend at the beach.

I went for a solo weekend, and this place was so perfect. Character, cozy, clean, comfortable. The property manager met me in person at check in to show me things, which was really helpful. And the view was spectacular!

Loved feeling secluded yet close to shopping and restaurants. Would have preferred a text with requirements and requests instead of email, before on our way to the destination. Overall…. Excellent place and would recommend to friends and family.

This is a wonderful house for family and friends get-togethers. The kitchen and seating areas were ample enough for our whole group. The new deck with chairs, table, and fire pit overlooking the ocean were the real gem on the property. The stairs to the beach were very stable with non-wood topped handrails (no splinters). A very beautiful stay in a beautiful rustically decorated house.

Sleeping with the ocean next to you is a wonderful, soothing experience. The house is charming. We relaxed, played games and enjoyed our walks on the beach.

This home is so beautiful. The pictures on VRBO didn’t do justice. Our family had a lovely time. Our only wish was that we could have stayed longer. We were on a 3 week vacation and this was our 4th house and our favorite! Plenty of space inside and out, Comfortable beds, a stocked kitchen where delicious meals were made, a beautiful deck to enjoy sunsets and quality family time! The many steps to the beach were worth the trek each time. If we ever make the long drive from Indiana to Oregon again, we’d love to stay here!🤗

So grateful to have had the opportunity to stay here. Highly recommend! Better in person than the photos. The deck is perfect for meals and has comfy chairs for reading, all while watching the boats and waves roll in. You can hear the waves from the inside as well- such a fun way to wake up. The bed was comfy, which is always a pleasant surprise for vrbos. Everything was clean. The two women we interacted with were friendly and helpful. The stairs are impressive- I love that we had a view from above with beach access as well. If you stay, I highly recommend the local coffee shop a half a mile away- the best coffee and homemade scones and muffins.

We had a great time. Alice was nice and promt at check in. Great for our family of 6. Well kept and clean. Owner sent me the Occupancy agreement at the last moment or I would have given it all 5 stars.

Our stay at Sunset Cabin was a relaxing 4 days! The home was beautiful and the deck had amazing views including beautiful sunsets. Loved the sound of the ocean during the night!

Beautiful home with an incredible view! Although the ad was accurate, we didn’t realize that there was no 2nd floor bathroom (our mistake). The loft area and stairs are VERY creaky so getting up in the middle of the night to go use the restroom can be disruptive to others sleeping. The deck was perfect and the kitchen had everything we needed to host a small family celebration. Just wish we could’ve booked an extra night or checked in earlier than 4 pm as it just wasn’t enough time. We would definitely consider coming back!

Great location. Walking to beach is a big plus. Listening to the surf is relaxing.

Location is top notch. Easy to get to. Great ocean views from the newly redone deck. The stairs to the beach are a good climb but you are on the ocean in minutes. Nice to have a garage to park in. Good ocean views from inside. All around great family ocean experience.

Six girls from California coming together for our annual girls trip! We loved the house and how close we where to the beach. The home had all of the amenities and then some!!

We loved our time at Sunset Cabin. The property was exactly as listed, comfy, clean & had everything we needed. We combed the beach, watched the beautiful sundowns & enjoyed the fire pit on the deck. Can’t wait to go back. 😊

This house was the perfect place for our family vacation. We enjoyed time on the beach that is accessible down the stairs from the house. We enjoyed playing games together in the evenings. The view from the house is spectacular and we loved enjoying it from the porch and through the huge windows.

The views were amazing, beach access is 90 stair steps away (yes 90) but the stairs & handrails are solid & safe. The home was very clean, furniture & beds very comfortable and plenty of nice towels & linens which are often in short supply in rental properties . We would definitely rent hear again!

This was an excellent place to stay for our family of seven. We loved having the stairs right down to the beach and the deck overlooking the ocean. Cabin was clean, well stocked, and Alice was very accommodating. Would highly recommend this location!

We napped on the deck every afternoon. It was so peaceful and just what we needed. Also slept every night and all night which in itself was miraculous. We’ll be back!

We have family who we visit in Brookings so this is our third VRBO stay. It was very nice, absolutely no complaints, except for the fees that get tacked on after the nightly rate is established which make ones’ stay considerably more expensive. That has nothing to do with this property, more with the way VRBO functions. This house is lovely and comfortable, with everything you might need for your stay. We loved that there were stairs to take us down to the beach so we could walk to the harbor. Unfortunately, our two days in Brookings were very stormy and wet so no beach walks this trip. The pellet fireplace in the house makes things extra cozy on stormy days. Comfortable beds — all but the master are upstairs. No bathroom upstairs so one has to go down through the kitchen to access the second bathroom. When one only has A weekend it is disappointing that you can’t check in until 4 PM yet you have to be out at 10 AM. There was no wiggle room on this

It was a very peaceful, relaxing, gorgeous view, amazing place to stay.

This property was everything I had imagined it to be from the listing on VRBO. What a treasure. My hubby and I took 4 days to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. The kitchen had everything I needed to prepare good meals. Our goal was to have relaxation, listen to the waves crash laying on the most comfortable king size bed. Taking the 90 steps down to the beach was actually fun!! Got our workout in !! We walked on the beach everyday and even the one day it rained, it cleared up after lunch and we were able to go and walk the beach again. Truly an amazing house to stay at. It was so clean and inviting. We walked to the close eating establishments so we never had to take the car anywhere. We will be back!!!

We loved this place, everything we wanted & much more than expected. Great location for our hiking trips up the coast of Oregon & down to the redwoods. We definitely would stay here again
