House was perfect for our family vacation, view at private beach of Sebago Lake is incredible. Owners are very kind and accommodating, live next door, very friendly! Our family had a lot of fun.

Our week on Frye was perfect! Courtney was over-the-top helpful in helping us get prepared for the week and making sure we had everything we needed (extra ferry passes, a golf cart!, and other accomodations). The property was perfect and the fireplace/beach area has got to be one of the best spots on the island to watch a sunset. Thank you Courtney for a great week!

The location and camp were very nice. We loved the screened in porch looking out at the lake.

What an amazing location and property! We had such a great time. The lake is stunning. We also rented a boat to enjoy the fishing Sebago Lake had to offer. Courtney was there to answer any questions we had and make our stay perfect! Would highly recommend and will likely return for another visit! Getting extra tickets to get on the ferry was quick and easy through Courtney. Thanks for everything!

Loved the location. The kitchen had every gadget we needed and we cook a lot! The sunsets were absolutely stunning. The Ogdens were great hosts.

We had a wonderful week on the island! Great hosts great home and amazing location! Would definitely recommend to anyone with teens that want their own exploring to do and still have family time. Hopefully we will be able to go back again soon.

The house was exactly as advertised with everything we needed! The renters were gracious and communicated with us before we arrived and gave us a fantastic overview of the property, their private beach, and the different activities available on Frye Island. The house was clean and in a great location! We had access to their kayaks and other beach equipment! We had a great week!!

This is a cute cottage right across the street from a private beach, dock and boat mooring. The cottage has new owners and they are in the process of fixing the place up, but they are off to a great start. The place was clean and functioned fine for our group. It will be awesome when they finish the renovations! The island is so quiet and peaceful and the sunsets were AMAZING. Everyone is very friendly; there is a real sense of community there. VRBO listed a dishwasher in the amenities - there is NO DISHWASHER. The owners took note and hopefully the listing will be updated to be more accurate. The only other improvement I would suggest is more comfortable beds. The queen downstairs had a very thin/hard mattress. BYOB if you want to make your own cocktails. The general store sells beer and wine only, but you can get cocktails in the Frye Island Cafe and at the golf course. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and we would love to return for another vacation!

It's located in a quiet spot with beach/dock access right across the way. Having the golf cart to use was a huge benefit for us...quick pleasant ride to all island amenities. Frye Island is magical and this home made for the perfect place to unwind and relax. The private beach is directly across the street, and the views are breathtaking! We have six children ranging i8 to 17 years old and each one had a wonderful time. There are hiking trails, golfing, biking, a public swimming pool and so much more. This home, island amenities and location won’t disappoint!

Perfect little house in a great spot. Located right across the street from your own private beach this was the perfect spot for us. The views were breath taking and we soaked up every last minute enjoying the beach. The owners were great they gave us a tour of the house when we got there and showed us where everything was. I highly recommend this house for anyone looking for a Frye island get away. Thanks again!

This was our second year here and despite some rainy weather, it was wonderful. The location can't be beat, the check-in process and communication with the owner was superb, and the house was super clean. The dock and direct access to the sunset lake views make it perfect for anyone who loves the water and the outdoors...I spent a lot of down time there even in the rain. Having both a mooring and a golf cart for our use was perfect and the video library made my husband's week. :) Air conditioning in all the bedrooms is a major plus and unlike a lot of rentals, the beds were super comfy! This island has done an absolutely *amazing* job adapting to the Covid-19 restrictions while still managing to keep virtually all activities and facilities open, safe and functioning and it was just what we needed to detox from our stressful lives.

The house is quite comfortable, and we loved hanging out by the water at the dock. We enjoyed having a golf cart, canoe & kayaks - they were excellent pluses. The only shortcoming from our perspective was the lack of a working coffee maker. (There was a Keurig coffee maker, but no reusable keurig cups to put our coffee in.) Overall, we enjoyed our time a great deal.

If you are trying to enjoy Frye Island on a budget, this is the place fro you. Sleeps plenty of folks, great lake access.

We just love it. Can't say enough about this little gem....although we don't want to say too much as we don't want to let the secret out! Ha! Kathi and Alan are lovely people and we'll be looking forward to a 7th year on the island next year! (ps -- beds and water pressure are good! - always a must when you VRBO!)

My wife and I, eldest son and his wife and two grandsons, ages 10 and 8, had a memorable week at Frye Island and had the good fortune to have found Alan and Kathi's property for our stay. The house more than met our expectations, was fully equipped with everything we needed, had more than enough space for all of us, and was in an excellent location, Just a quick walk across the street to our own beach, dock and boating area complete with canoe, kayaks, beach and lounge chairs, and other swimming equipment. Frye Island has a number of public beaches and several of those are nearby, convenient and fun, as well. As noted, we were very pleased with the location of the house, and the fact that there was a golf cart we could use for quick transportation around the area (State law requires the operator to be a licensed driver, so no underage kids behind the wheel anywhere.) Although we did not need to trouble them, Alan and Kathi were available if we had had any questions or issues. No absentee landlords. Everyone in our party had a great time on the island and we all felt right at home in the house we rented from Alan and Kathi. It seems to be a tradition that everyone waves to people they pass while driving , golf-carting or walking around the island, and there is a friendly atmosphere. There is plenty of shopping in Windham, which is off the island, and we stocked up on what we needed before our arrival. We chose to stay on the island through the week, with only one trip on the ferry mid-week to restock and visit a few local attractions. If one chooses to go off-island more than that, there are plenty of things to do; but, we took advantage of things on the island and stayed close. The ferry schedule is convenient for what ever you choose to do. For future visits to Frye Island, the first place we will check for availability will be this property. We would all be happy to stay here again, and recommend it highly.

This was a nice house which met all our needs. It was well equipped with amenities ie towels, sheets, etc.. We loved having the golf cart to get around. The dock across the street gave us a place to relax with spectacular views of the lake. The Ross’s made themselves available for any questions we had. We are a family of 5 and had more than enough space in this house. We would definitely rent this house again!
